Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur erythrozytenseitigen Blutgruppen-Bestimmung, bei welchem in vorteilhafter Weise handelsübliche Einweg-Spitzboden-Mikrotiterplatten Verwendung finden. Den Antiseren wird jeweils Albumin derart zugesetzt, daß die Albumin-Konzentration 0,05 mg/ml bis 2,2 g/ml, vorzugsweise 0,2 mg/ml bis 1,0 mg/ml, beträgt. Bei dem Verfahren handelt es sich um ein klassisches Sedimentationsverfahren ohne Zentrifugationsphase oder Aufschütteln der Proben. Es ist somit hinsichtlich der Präparation der Proben leicht automatisierbar, insbesondere mit Pipettierautomaten bekannter Bauart durchführbar. Die Sedimentationsbilder lassen eine eindeutige Unterscheidung zwischen positiven und negativen Reaktionen zu. Das Verfahren ist auswertungstechnisch leicht und zuverlässig automatisiert, insbesondere mit photometrischer optischer Auswertung der Sedimentationsbilder. Dadurch wird ein hoher Probendurchsatz bei minimalen Materialkosten und erhöhter Verwechslungssicherheit erzielt.
