Abstract
Description
Tube, Verwendung eines Kunststoffbeutels und Verfahren zum Herstellen einer TubeTube, use of a plastic bag and method of making a tube
The invention relates to a tube and the use of a plastic bag with a plastic film material which forms an end wall and two side walls of the tube.
Resealable bags for holding liquid or pasty goods are usually made of plastic material with very thin walls. These bags are therefore very unstable and flexible. Therefore, they are not suitable as tubes.
Above all, there is a requirement for tubes that they can be set up with the cap facing downwards. There is a risk that the tube will tip over if the film material deforms under the weight of the contents of the tube.
The primary object of the invention is to design a tube in such a way that the risk of tipping over as described above is reduced when the tube is placed on the closure cap as indicated.
Die Seitenwände sind längs zwei streifenförmigenThe task is solved according to the independent patent claims. The film material is advantageously a laminate which has at least a 60 to 200 μm thick inner sealing layer made of polyolefin and a 10 to 25 µm thick outer layer made of polyester, the strip-shaped side edge sections each having a width of at least 6.5% of the total width of the side walls, however, they are at least 4 mm wide in any case. The side walls are two stripes
In dieser zeigen:Side edge sections and along a strip-shaped end edge section are connected flatly to one another and provided with a shoulder piece which is stiff in comparison with the film material and which has a closable outlet connection and a flange fastened to the end wall. A simple bag construction with bag material can advantageously be modified in such a simple manner that a tube is created. Embodiments of the invention are explained below with reference to the drawing. In this show:

Fig. 3 on a larger scale a cross section through the film material of the bag tube, approximately in the area of circle A in Fig. 2. The bag tube shown in Figs. 1 and 2 has two side walls 11 and 12 and an end wall 13, all of one Pieces of film material are formed from plastic. The film material is preferably thin, light and flexible. According to the invention, it is above all a laminate with an inner sealing layer 14 (FIG. 3), whose thickness d L is 60 to 200 μm, and with an outer layer 15, whose thickness d 2 is 10 to 25 μm. The inner sealing layer 14 consists of polyolefin, preferably polypropylene, polyethylene or a copolymer. It can also consist of several layers of different polyolefins. The outer layer 15 consists of polyester, preferably polyethylene terephthalate or polyethylene naphthalate or a copolymer of, for example, 90% to 95% PET and 10% to 5% PEN. A barrier layer 16 can expediently be arranged between the inner sealing layer 14 and the outer layer 15. The barrier layer 16 can consist of aluminum with a thickness d 3 of 7 to 12 μm or of para-aramid (in particular "Kevlar®").
The two side walls 11 and 12 are connected to one another in a surface-tight manner along two strip-shaped side edge sections 17 and 18 and along an end edge section 19, in particular welded. The width B of the side walls 11, 12 is approximately 100 mm in the exemplary embodiment. The side edge sections 17 and 18 each have a width b, which in the exemplary embodiment is approximately 7%, but generally approximately 6.5% to 10% of the width B of the side walls 11, 12. For smaller tubes, the width b is at least 4 mm. The width b of the weld seams Both side edge sections 17, 18 optimally ensure a substantial stiffening of the tube body.
Gleichzeitig schützen sie dasA shoulder piece is fastened to the end wall 13 and has a closable opening in the form of an outlet connector 20. The outlet connector 20 is shown closed with a screw cap 21. A flange 22 extends from the outlet connector 20 and bears on the inside against the end wall 13 and is fastened tightly thereto, preferably welded. The flange 22 has at the edges of the end wall 13 two angled, parallel to the side walls 11 and 12 and adjacent to the middle regions of the side walls tabs 23 and 24. The tabs 23 and 24 stiffen the central regions of the side walls 11 and 12 adjacent to the end wall 13. At the same time, they protect this
In Verbindung mit der Versteifung durch dieFoil material against twisting and / or injury if the tube for unscrewing or screwing on the closure cap 21 is held with one hand in the named areas of the side walls 11, 12. The shoulder piece can also have different shapes, and it could also be attached to the outside of the end wall 13. The shoulder piece 20, 22, 23, 24 is relatively stiff compared to the film material of the side walls 11, 12 and the end wall 13. In connection with the stiffening by the
Side edge sections 17 and 18 thereby create a tube body which is sufficiently rigid for all practical purposes. An additional increase in the stability of the tube against lateral tipping results in the illustrated exemplary embodiment in that the mutually facing inner boundaries of the two side edge sections 17 and 18 in the region of the end wall 13 are angled inwards - towards one another as shown at 25 and 26. At the same time, the shoulder corners - between the parts 25, 26 and the end wall 13 - are less deep and the volume of the air that may be trapped therein when the tube is filled is smaller. Furthermore, a larger part of the axial length of the outlet connector 19 also projects the shoulder corners facing downward. Instead of being angled as shown, the inner boundaries of the side edge sections 17, 18 could also be bent accordingly. In the course of production and filling, the two side walls 11 and 12 are first welded to one another along the side edge sections 17 and 18 and the shoulder piece is fastened with outlet connector 20 and screw cap 21. The tube body can then be filled from an end opposite the outlet connector 20. The end edge section 19 is then welded so that the tube is closed.
The handling of the tube is made considerably easier by the stiffening of the tube body achieved by means of the wide side edge sections 17 and 18.
