Abstract

Cette invention a trait à un procédé permettant de manipuler des chutes coupées le long d'une bande métallique (18), lors du passage de la bande par une machine à coupe (10). Le procédé consiste à faire se déplacer le bras (43) d'un dispositif préhenseur (26) de la machine à coupe, de manière que ce bras se saisisse de la bande, puis à utiliser le bras pour tirer la bande jusqu'à un mécanisme de réception (72) recevant la bande. L'invention concerne également une machine à coupe (10) permettant de mettre en oeuvre ce procédé.
