- the beam 7 is interrupted, and once the product has left the beam continuity is recovered 7.
- These circumstances are detected by the receiver 6: initially it detects the continuity of the beam 7, then the interruption due to the passage of the product 4, and finally again the continuity of the beam 7, thus ensuring that the product has been served and there is no remaining for example, attacked at the exit, interrupting the beam 7.
- the detection system described can be used regardless of the number of spindles contained in each floor or tray, as well as the way in which the units 4 of the product are arranged or related to the spindles 1.

Abstract
L'invention concerne un distributeur automatique, équipé d'un dispositif d'extraction de produits pourvu de broches (1), disposées sur différents niveaux ou étages. Chacun de ces niveaux ou étages est équipé, à sa sortie, d'un détecteur de passage de produits, comprenant un émetteur (5) et un récepteur (6) de rayons infrarouges, situés en position opposée, de manière que le faisceau (7) de rayons croise la section de sortie et soit interrompu par le passage de chaque unité (4) du produit fourni.
