Abstract

L'invention concerne un téléphone hertzien monté sur un véhicule destiné à établir une communication vocale en duplex complet avec une centre de suivi d'appel. Le téléphone est conçu afin d'être encastré dans le tableau de bord ou dans une console de véhicule. Ce téléphone comporte un bouton unique d'activation qui, lorsqu'il est pressé une fois, initie les fonctions suivantes: (1) l'énergie électrique alimente un émetteur et un récepteur hertziens, (2) le récepteur hertzien est activé afin de rechercher un canal disponible parmi des canaux hertziens de système A ou B, (3) une numéro de téléphone est récupéré de la mémoire, et (4) l'émetteur hertzien est activé afin d'établir une communication avec le centre de suivi d'appel. Puisque toutes ces fonctions sont activées par pression sur un seul bouton d'activation unique, la communication avec le centre de suivi d'appel peut être établie simplement et rapidement, même en cas de conditions contraignantes. Afin d'empêcher toute activation malencontreuse, le bouton d'activation est protégé par un capot rétractable construit dans le boîtier du téléphone.
