明 細 書 モータ装置用永久磁石、 モータ装置、 及ぴ着磁方法 技術分野
本発明はモータ装置などに関し、 例えば、 ロータに永久磁石を備えた ものに関する。 背景技術
近年、 コンピュータが急速に普及してきている。 これらコンピュータ の記憶装置には、 例えば、 ハードディスク、 光磁気ディスクなどのディ スク状の記憶媒体が多用されている。 これら、 記憶媒体は、 ディスク ド ライブに設けられた小型のモータによ り高速回転され、 データの読み書 きが行われる。
これらディスク ドライブ装置に用いられるモータは、 ステ一夕コイル で回転磁界を発生させ、 これをロータに配設した永久磁石に作用させて 回転するようになつている。
永久磁石は、 ラジアル方向 (径方向) に磁化されており、 円周方向に 沿って所定のピッチにて極性が逆になるょゔになっている。 即ち、 内周 面、 あるいは外周面に沿って N極と S極が等間隔で現れるようになって いる。 同一ピッチ内では極性はそろっており、 この極性が単一な区間の 数を極数という。
現在最も多用されているのは、 3相交流によ りステータコイルを励磁 し、' 1 2極の永久磁石を回転させるものである。 また、 永久磁石の大き さは、 外径が 2 5 [ m m ] 程度のものが主流である。
これら永久磁石は、 永久磁石の内周面あるいは外周面に設置じた着磁 へッ ドが発生する大きな磁界によって着磁される。
着磁へッ ドの内部には導線が配設されており、パルス状の直流電流(数 万 [ A ] ) が流せるようになっている。
アウターロータ型モータ用の永久磁石の場合は、 永久磁石の内周部に 着磁ヘッ ドを配設して着磁する。 これは、 アウターロータ型のモータで は、 永久磁石の内周面に面してステータコイルが配設されるため、 永久 磁石の内周面の分極性 (N極と S極の境目が明確なこと) が良いことが 必要とされるためである。 即ち、 着磁へッ ドと、 永久磁石の内周面が対 面する位置となるため、 永久磁石の内周面の分極性が良く なる。
逆に、 イ ンナーロータ型モータの永久磁石の場合は、 ステ一タコイル が永久磁石の外周面に面して配設されるため、 永久磁石の外周部に着磁 へッ ドを配設して着磁を行う。
そして、 これら永久磁石としては、 希土類磁石が多用されており、 希 土類磁石の中でも等方性の磁性材料である N d - F e 一 B系の材料を用 いたポン ド磁石が圧倒的に多く使用されている。
等方性とは、 磁性材料の磁気の方向がランダムであり、 一方向にそろ つていないことを言い、 これを着磁することによ り磁石が得られる。 また、 ポン ド磁石とは、 磁性材料を成形しゃすくするために磁性材料 に樹脂を混ぜたものである。
また、 最近では特開 2 0 0 0— 1 9 5 7 1 4号公報に記載されている ように、 S m— F e— N系ボンド磁石も使われ始めている。
そして、 これら S m— F e— N系ポンド磁石の異方性を用いて多極化 を試みたり、特開 2 0 0 1— 5 4 2 6 2号公報に記載されている.ように、 N d— F e— B系ボンド磁石の欠点であるさびの生じにくい S m— F e 一 N系ボンド磁石を作成したりなど様々な試みが行われている。
ここで異方性とは、 磁性材料を構成する組織内で磁気の方向が一方向 にそろっていることを言い、 予め磁気の方向を揃えておき、 これを着磁 すると、 等方性の磁性材料を着磁したものよ り も強力な磁石を得ること ができる。
最近では、 ハー ト'ディスクがデジタル式カメラゃカーナビゲーション 装置、 情報家電装置など、 コンピュータ以外の分野でも用いられるよう になってきている。 これに伴い、 通常使用されている 2 . 5 [ i n c h ] 以下の記憶装置のメモリディスク駆動用の小型モータが普及し始めてい る
デジタルカメラなどの携帯用機器や情報家電にこれら小型のハー ドデ イスクが利用されるように.なってく ると、 これらに使用されるモータに はよ り小型化、 省エネ化、 高トルク化が要求される。
モータが小型化すると、これに用いる永久磁石も小型化する。そして、 永久磁石が小型化すると、 これを着磁するための着磁へッ ドも小型化す る必要がある。 ':
着磁ヘッ ドを小型化すると、 これに使用する導線も細く なり、 又着磁 • へッ ドの電気的絶縁耐圧の関係もあって、 着磁へッ ドに供給できる直流 電流も小さくなる。 そのため、 永久磁石を必ずしもフル着磁 (磁気飽和 させること) できず、 磁性材料が本来持っている能力を充分に引き出す ことができないという問題があった。
そこで、本発明の目的は、小型で性能が良好なモータ装置用永久磁石、 モータ装置、 及び着磁方法を提供することである。 発明の開示
本発明は、 前記目的を達成するために、 モータ装置のロータに配設さ れる円筒状のモータ用永久磁石であって、 前記永久磁石は、 ラジアル方 向に磁化された区分が円周方向に等間隔に形成されており、 前記永久磁 石の内径を D、 径方向の肉厚を t、 前記区分の数を N、 前記モータを駆 動する交流電流の相数を Mとした場合、 前記 Dが 2 0 [ m m ] 以下で、 前記 tが t≤ ?r D / ( N M - となるように設定されていることを特 輟とするモータ装置用永久磁石を提供する。
、また、 前記モータ装置用永久磁石が S m— C 0系の磁性材料で構成さ れていることを特徴とする請求項 1 に記載のモーダ装置用永久磁石を提 供する。
また、 本発明は、 前記目的を達成するために、 全周に渡って円筒状の 永久磁石が配設された回転対称俸と、 前記回転対称体の軸線上に配設さ れた回転軸と、 を備えたロータ部と、 前記永久磁石の内周又は外周に、 前記永久磁石と対向して、 M相交流によ り励磁可能な複数のステ一タコ ィルが配設されたステータ部と、 前記回転軸を前記ステータ部に、 前記 回転対称体と前記ステ一タコイルが同心となるように回転自在に軸支す る軸受部と、 を具備したモータ装置であって、 前記永久磁石は、 ラジア ル方向に磁化された区分が円周方向に等間隔に形成されており、 前記永 久磁石の内径を D、 径方向の肉厚を t、 前記区分の数を N、 前記モ タ を駆動する交流電流の相数を Mとした場合、 前記 Dが 2 0. 更に、 本発明は、 前記目的を達成するために、 モータ装置のロータに 配設される円筒状の永久磁石を、 ラジアル方向に磁化された区分が円周 ' 方向に等間隔に形成されるように着磁する着磁方法であり、 前記永久磁 石は、 前記永久磁石の内径を D、 径方向の肉厚を !;、 極数を N、 前記モ 一夕装置を駆動する交流電流の相数を Mと した場合、 前記 Dが 2 0 [ m m ] 以下で、 前記 tが t≤ ?r D Z ( Ν Μ— ττ ) となるように構成されて おり、 前記永久磁石をラジアル方向の一方向に着磁する一方向着磁ステ ップと、 前記一方向着磁ステップで一方向に着磁した永久磁石を、 ラジ アル方向に等間隔で磁化の方向が反転する区分に着磁する極着磁ステツ プと、 から構成されたことを特徴とする着磁方法を提供する。

以下、 本発明の好適な実施の形態について詳細に説明する。
( 1 ) 実施形態の概要 '
モータが小型になると、 これに使用する永久磁石 (円筒形状を有し、 ロータに配設される) も小型化する。 すると、 これ.を着磁する着磁へッ ドも小型化し、 着磁時に大電流を流すことが困難となる。 そのため、 着 磁時に着磁ヘッ ドに供給する電流 (以下、 着磁電流) を抑制する結果、 '永久磁石を着磁力の限度いっぱいまで着磁すること (フル着磁) が困難 となり、 十分に磁性材料の能力を引き出すことが困難であった。
特にアウターロータ型のモータの場合、 円筒形の磁性材料の内側から 着磁するために着磁電流を導通する着磁へッ ドを円筒形状の内側に配置 しなければならない。 しかも、 永久磁石の多極化が試みられるようにな つており、 着磁へッ ド内に太い導線を多く巻装する必要が増してきた。 そのため、 小型になる程、 導線が細く なり、 また、 導線間の間隔も小さ く なり、 着磁電流の制限が厳しく なる。
そこで、 本実施の形態では、 着磁電流が小さくても着磁前の永久磁石 をフル着磁できるように永久磁石のラジアル方向の肉厚を薄く した。 また、 一般に、 永久磁石の肉厚を薄くすると、 外部かちの磁界などに よ り減磁し易くなる力'、 これを抑制するために、 磁性材料と して、 ラジ アル方向の肉厚が薄くても多くの磁束量を発生でき、 かつ保磁力が大き い S m - C o (サマリウム一コバル ト) 系磁性材料を採用した。 S m - C 0系磁性材料は、 ピンニングという効果によって、 機械加工減磁 (機械 加工などの外部からの力が原因で磁力が弱まること) や高温減磁 (温度 が高いこと ,によ り減磁すること) が生じにく いという利点がある。
更に、 S m- C 0.系磁性材料は異方性を持ったものがあり、 これを磁場 配向によつて磁性材料全体の磁気の軸をそろえた後、 着磁を行う ことに 'よ り、 肉厚が薄く ても多くの磁束量を発生させることができるという利 点もある。
加えて、 従来は、 S m- C 0系磁性材料は、 優れた磁気特性を持つにも 関わらず、 高価であるためモータ用の永久磁石と してはあま り利用され ていなかったが、 本実施の形態は、 小型モータであるため、 使用する磁 性材料が少量で済み、コス ト的にも十分に S m-C 0系磁性材料を用いる. こ とができ る。
, ( 2 ) 実施形態の詳細
以下、 本発明の好適な実施の形態について詳細に説'明する。
図 1 は、, 本実施の形態のモータの一実施形態を示す軸線方向断面図で ある。
モニタ 3 0は、 例えばハ一ドディ スク ドラィブゃ光磁気デイ スク ドラ ィブなどに使用されるァウタ口一夕型の超小型動圧モータである。 モー タ 3 0は 3相交流によつて駆動される D Cブラシレスモータである。 また、 モータ 3 0は、 外径が最大 2 5 '[mm] 程度であり、 厚さが最 大' 5 [mm] 程度の超小型モータである。
モータ 3 0は、 ロータ咅 [51 とこれを支持するステ一'タ部 2 などから構 成されている。
ステータ部 2はオイル 1 1 を満たした空洞部を備えている。 そして、 この空洞部にロータ部 1 の動圧力発生機構を備えた部分 (回転軸フラン ジ 1 0、 他端部 1 9 ) が収納されており、 動圧軸受部 5が構成されてい 動圧軸受部 5によって、 ロータ部 1 は回転時に、 ステータ部 2 に軸支 される。
ロータ部 1 は、 回転軸 (シャフ ト) 6、 ロータ 7 などから構成されて レ、る。
ロータ 7は、 段部 8 を有した凸型の円板形状を有している。'そして、 ロータ 7の外周部には円筒状のロータフレーム 2 1が形成されている。 これによ り、 ロータ 7の内部には、 動圧軸受部 5 とステ一タコイル 4 ' を収納するための凹型の空間が形成されている。
更に、 ラジアル方向中央部には、 回転軸 6 を揷着するための貫通孔が 回転軸方向に形成されている。
段部 8は、 ハードディスクなどの円板型記憶媒体の中心に形成された 取付穴に合致して、 これを位置決めして固定する。
このよう にしてロータ部 1 とハー ドディスクなどは一体となって回転 することができる。
' 口一タ フレーム 2 1 の内周面には、 円筒形状に形成された 1 2極の永 久磁石 3が同心円上に接着されており、 ステ一タ部 2 に配設されたステ 一夕コイル 4が発生する回転磁界によってロータ 7に回転力が生じるよ つ になっている。
回転軸 6の上端部は口一タ 7の貫通孔に揷着されている。 回転軸 6 の 軸線方向中央部付近には、 スラス ト方向の動圧力を発生する回転軸フラ ンジ 1 0が全周に渡って設けられている。 ·
回転軸フランジ 1 0 と回転軸 6は、 回転軸フランジ 1 0 のラジアル方 向中央に貫通孔を形成し、 この貫通孔に回転軸 6 を挿入して固定するよ う にしても良いし、 又は、 回転軸 6 と回転軸フラ ンジ 1 0 を一体加工し ても良い。
回転軸 6 の一端 (ロータ 7が取り付けられていない方) には、 ラジア ル方向の動圧力を発生する他端部 1 9が形成されている。
他端部 1 9は、 回転軸 6 を回転軸フランジ 1 0 に貫通させて形成して も良いし、 又は別体と して回転軸フラ ンジ 1 0の下端面に形成しても良 い。
また、 回転フラ ンジ 1 0、 回転軸 6、 他端部 1 9 を一体加工しても よ い。
なお、回転軸フラ ンジ 1 0の形状は、例えば断面が菱形、台形など様々 な形状のものを用いるこ とができ る。
ステータ部 2 はステータ フレーム 1 6、 ベース 1 7、 アッパープレー ト ' 1 8、 ステ一タ コイル 4 などから構成されている。
アジパープレー ト 1 8は、 ラジアル方向中央部に回転軸 6 を遊揷する ための貫通孔を有した円板状の部材である。
アッパープレ 十 1 8のオイル 1 1 に接する側の端面は、 回転軸フラ ンジ 1 0が発生する動圧力を受ける対向面を構成している。
アッパープレー ト 1 8のラジアル方向中央部に形成された貫通孔は、 オイル 1 1が蓄えられている方向へ向かって径が小さ く なるよう に:テ一 パ状に形成されており、 オイル 1 1 の遺漏を防,ぐキヤピラリ一シ一ルを 構成している。
このように、 オイル 1 1が蓄えられている方向へ向かつて径が小さ く なるように貫通孔を形成すると、 貫通孔と回転軸 6 によってオイル 1 1 に作用する毛細管現象と表面張力によ り、 オイルの漏出を防ぐことがで きる。
ベース 1 7には、 他端部 1 9 を収納するための遊揷孔 2 6、 回転軸フ ランジ 1 0の外周面に対向する円筒面を構成するス リ ーブ 2 2、 スリ ー ブ 2 2の上端部に形成され、 アッパープレー ト 1 8 を嵌合するための段 部 2 4がー体形成'されている。 これら遊揷孔 2 6、 ス リーブ 2 2、 段部 2 4 は、 同心状に形成されて いる。
遊揷孔 2 6の内径は、他端部 1 9の外径よ り も大き く設定されており、 他端部 1 9 を遊揷孔 2 6 に遊挿した場合、 オイル 1 1 によって動圧力が 発生するよう に適当な間隙が生じるよう になつている。 .
また、 他端部 1 9 の下端と遊揷孔 2 6 の底部に適当な空間が生成され るようになっている。 この空間はオイル 1 1 を溜めておく オイル溜ま り が形成されている。
スリーブ 2 2 の内径は、 回転軸フランジ 1 0 の外径よ り も大き く設定 されており、 回転軸フランジ 1 ◦の外周面とス リーブ 2 2の内周面の間 の空間がォィル溜ま り となっている。
段部 2 4の内径は、 ァッパ一プレート 1 8が所定のはめあい公差で装 着できる寸法に設定されている。 ァッパ一プレー ト 1 8は、 段部 2 4に 嵌合することによ り位置決めされる。 そして、 .アッパープレー ト 1 Sに '形成された貫通孔と、 遊揷孔 2 6、 ス リ ーブ 2 2、 段部 2 4 のラジアル 方向の中心が軸線上に位置するよう になっている。
ベ一ス 1 7 の周囲にはステータ フレ一ム 1 6 が形成されている。 ステ 一タフレーム 1 6 は、 ラジアル方向中央部にベース 1 7 を揷着する揷着 孔が形成された凹状の部材である。 ステ一夕フレーム 1 6は、 モ一タ 3 0をハ一 ドディスク ドライブ装置の筐体にねじ止めなどして固定する際 に用いられる。
ステ一夕 フレーム 1 6 には、 複数のステータコイル 4が等間隔で同心 円上に配設されている。
ステ一タコイル 4 と、 永久磁石 3 との間には間隙が設けられており、 ロータ部 1が回転する際に、 ステータコイル 4 と永久磁石 3が接触しな いよ う になっている。 図 2は、 回転軸フランジ 1 0や他端部 1 9に形成された動圧力発生溝 を示した図である。
回転軸フランジ 1 0の上端面には、 スラス ト方向の動圧力を発生させ るための動圧力発生溝 2 0 (例えばへリ ングボーン溝) が形成されてい る。 '
図示しないが、 回転軸フラ ンジ 1 0の下端面にも同様の動圧力発生溝 2 0,が形成されている。
回転軸フ 'ランジ Ί 0が回転すると、 これら動圧力発生溝 2 0によるポ ンプ作用によ って回転軸フランジ 1 0の両端面にスラス ト方向の動圧力 が生じる。
そして、 発生した動圧力によって、 回転軸フランジ 1 0の両端面と、 オイル 1 1 を介して対向するステータ側の面との間にスラス 'ト方向の圧 力が生じ、 この'両端面に生じた圧力のバラ ンスによって、 回転軸 6はス ラス ト方向に支持される。 このよ う に、 他端部 1 9は、 スラス ト方向動 圧力発生手段を構成している。
他端部 1 9の周面には、 ラジアル方向の動圧力を発生させるための動 圧力発生溝 1 4、 1 5 (軸線方向に対して互いに異なる方向へ傾いた 2 段の斜線状の溝) が形成されている。
El転軸 6が回転すると、 動圧力発生溝 1 4、 1 5によるボンプ作用に よって他端部 1 9の周囲に動圧力が生じる。
発生した動圧力によって、 他端部 1 9の周面と、 オイル 1 1 を介して 対向する遊揷孔 2 6の内周面との間にラジアル方向の圧力を生じる。 そ して、 この他端部 1 9の周面に生じた圧力のバランスによって、 回転軸 6はラジァル方向に支持される。 このよう に他端部 1 9はラジァル方向 動圧力発生手段を構成している。
以上に説明した回転軸フランジ 1 0で発生するスラス ト方向の動圧力 と、他端部 1 9で発生するラジアル方向の動圧力によ り、ロータ部 1 は、 回転軸の周り に回転自在に軸支される。
なお、 回転軸 6の回転方向は、 モータ 3 0 を矢線 2 8方向 (図 1 ) に 見て反時計周り方向である。
図 3 は、 モータ 3 0の断面 A _ A (図 1 ) の概略を示した図である。 モータ - 3 ◦は、 極数 1 2、 スロ ッ ト数 9 の D Cブラシレスモータであ る
図に示したよ う に、 モータ 3 0は、 回転'軸' 6 'と同心にスリーブ 2 2 'が 形成され、 スリーブ 2 2の周囲にステータコア 3, 9が配設されている。 . . . 永久磁石 3 は、 ステ一タコア 3 9 と所定の間隙を隔てて回転軸 6 と同 心に配設されている。 永久磁石 3 の外周面は口一タ フレーム 2' 1の内周 面に固着してある。
■ ' 回転軸 6 と永久磁石 3、 口一タ フレーム 2'' 1 は、 一体となつてステ一 タコア 3 9の周り を回転できるよう になつている。
' ステータコア 3 9は、 スリーブ 2 2から放射状に 9つ突起して形成さ れている。 それぞれ隣接するステータコア 3 9 'の間にはスロッ トが形成 されている。 各ステータコア 3 9の周囲には,、 図示しない励磁用の卷線 が卷かれており、 これらに 3相交流が供給されて、 永久磁石 3の内周に 回転磁界を生じるよう になつている。
永久磁石 3 は、 円周方向に, 1 2等分された磁気的な区分が形成されて いる。 それぞれの区分は、 後述する よ うに、 ステ一タ コア 3 9側から口 一タ フ.レーム 2 1側、 あるいは口一タ フレーム 2 1側からステータ コア 3 9側にラジァル方向に磁化されてお り、 1 2極の永久磁石を構成して いる。
図に示した N、 Sの文字は、 各区分において永久磁石 3の内周面に現 れる磁極を示している。 ' 図に示したよう に、 永久磁石 3の内周面には、 円周方向に N極と S極 が交互に形成されている。
ズテータコア 3 9が発生する回転磁界と、 永久磁石 3 に形成された各 磁極が相互作用 'し、 永久磁石 3 に回転軸 6の周りのトルクを発生させる こ.とができ る。 .
永久磁石 3の磁極の位置を検出して、 各ステータコア 3 9に導通する 電流を適当に制御することによ り、 永久磁石 3 に トルクを発生させるこ とができ る。
次に永久磁石 3の形状や磁性材料などについて説明する。
図 4は、永久磁石 3の外形及び磁極を示した図である。 図 4 ( a ) は、 永久磁石 3 を回転軸方向(図 1の矢線 2 8 )から見た図であり、図 4 ( b ) ' は、 永久磁石 3 を矢線 2 8 に垂直な方向から'見た図である。
' 永久磁石 3は、 リ ング状形状を有している。 永久磁石 3 は、 1 2極と • なっており、 永久磁石 3には、 円周方向に 1 2等分された磁気的な区分 が形成されている。 各区分は、 内周側から外周側あるいは.外周側から内 ' 周側に向かう方向に磁化されている。そして、隣接する区分はそれぞれ磁 化の方向が逆になるよう になっている。
仮に、 永久磁石 3 を 1 6極とする場合は、 永久磁石 3 を周方向に 1 6 等分'し、 磁気的な区分を 1 6個形成する。 よ りー投に、 N極とする場合 は、 永久磁石 3 を円周方向に N等分し、 各区分を、 隣接する区分の磁化 の方向が逆になるよう にラジアル方向に磁化する。
.例えば、 区分 3 3では、 内周面側が N極、 外周面側が S極に磁化され ている。 一方、 区分 3 3 に隣接する区分 3 4、 3 5では内周側が S極、 外周側が N極に磁化されている。
このため、 内周面に沿って N極と S極が交互に現れるよう になつてい る。 同様に外周面に関しても N極と S極が交互に現れる。 次に、 永久磁石 3の内径 Dと肉厚 tの関係について説明する。
図 4 ( a ) に示したように、 磁極ピッチを P [mm] 、 図 4 ( b ) に 示したよう に、 永久磁石 3の内径を D [mm] (≤ 2 0 [mm] ) 、 円 環部分のラジアル方向の厚さを t [mm] 、 極数を Nとする。
ただし、 磁極ピッチ Pは、 永久磁石 3の内周面と外周面のラジアル方 向中間に円を描き、 この円の各区分に含まれる長さとする。
なお、 永久磁石 3の外径が 2 0 [mm] の場合は、 Dは 2 0 [mm] 未満となる。
すると、 永久磁石 3の幾何学的な形状から次の式 ( 1 ) が成り立つ。 【数 1】 N P = 7Γ (D + t ) … ( 1 )
また、モータ用の永久磁石を設計する場合、肉厚 t とピツチ Pの比を、 交流の相数程度になるよ う に設定すると、 磁束の漏れなどが少なく性能 が良好なモータが得られることが当業者の間では経験的に知られている c 交流の相数を Mとすると、 この経験式は次の式 ( 2 ).で表される。 . ' 【数 2】, P t =M〜 ( 2 )
以上の式 ( 1 ) 、 ( 2 ) から Pを消去すると、 次の t と Dの関係式 ( 3 ) が求められる。

ここで、 t は、 式 (3 ) の右辺で与えられた値以下なち良いと し、 式 ( 3 ) では、 不等号を用いた。
また、 式 ( 2 ) の値の設計的なばらつきは、 土 1 5 %以内の範囲で許 容される。 Mのばらつき を ± 1 5 %許容した場合の t の範囲は次の式 ( 4 ) のよう になる。

更に、 極数が 1 2で 9スロッ トの場合、 P/ tの上限値と下限値を以 下の式 ( 5) のよう に規定すること も可能である。

ここで、 式 ( 5 ) の導出過程について説明する。
図 5は、 ステータコア 3 9 と、 永久磁石 3 を軸方向に見たところを示 した模式.図である。 ただし、 図 5は、 一例と して交流の相数が 3 (M = 3 ), の場合を図示している力 、 相数が 5 (M= 5 ) の場合など、 他の相 数に拡張することができる。
このうち、 図 5 ( a ) は、 永久磁石の厚みの上限値を説明するための 模式図である。
' ' 永久磁石 3の磁極とステータコア 3 9の間における漏洩磁束を考えれ ば、 永久磁石の厚みの限界は、 一極分の面積と鉄心 1個の歯との間隙を ' '挟んで対向する面積比と考えて良い(永久磁石の磁束集中の飽和限界)。 面積比は、 ( 7Γ D / 1 2極) / ( π D 9スロ ッ ト) = 0. 7 5 となる。 これが PZ t の下限値となる,。
' 図 5 (b ) は、 永久磁石 3の設計の中心値を説明す'るための模式図で める。
設計上の中心値は、 t = P Mが良好である。 相の切り替えが磁極一 極の中で、 3回のスイ ッチング (切り替え) が行われる。 漏洩磁束を考 えれば t : P / M= 1 : 1 であれば、 おおむね良好である。
図 5 ( c ) は、 永久磁石 3の厚みの下限値を説明するための模式図で める。
トルクがあま り落ちないような限界を考えれば、 ステータコア ' 3 9の 鉄心歯の永久磁石 3の 1極分から両側に各々はみ出た分の片方の長さと 永久磁石 3の厚みがほぼ同じ寸法が、 厚みの下限の限度となる (磁束拡 散限界) 。 ステータコアの外周の方向の長さが永久磁石の一極の長さよ り t Z 2づっ長くするのが良い。 この場合、 PZ t = 2 M程度である。 これが P/ tの上限値となる。
以上のようにして求めた式( 5 )から、 tの範囲を求めると次の式( 6 ) のよう になる。

後述するよ.う に、 永久磁石 3が小型化すると、 これを着磁するための 着磁ヘッ ドも小型化する。 そして、 着磁ヘッ ドが小型化すると、 これに 用いる導線を細く したり巻き回数を減らすことになるため、 着磁時にァ ンペアターンを大き くすることが困難になり、 その結果、 着磁電流が制 限される。.特に、 永久磁石 3の内径が 2 ◦ [mm] 以下の領域では、 着 磁電流の制限が大き く なる。 外径が 2 0 '[mm] の場合は、 内径が 2 0 [mm] 以下となるので制限はよ り大き く なる。
また、 従来からの磁性材料である N d— F e'— Bなどでは、 着磁後に 大きな磁力を得るために、 また着磁後の磁力を維持するために、 永久磁 石のラジアル方向の厚さ t を、 上の式 ( 2 )' 'よ り も厚ぐ設定していた。 ' 永久磁石の肉厚が大き く なると、 着磁時によ り大きな磁力、 即ち着磁電 流が必要とされる。
これらの理由によ り、 従来の小型の永久磁石 (特に内径 2 0 [mm] 以下のもの) は、 着磁ヘッ ドに供給できる最大の電流を用いて着磁して も、 磁性材料をフル着磁することができず、 そのため、 磁性材料の磁気 的な能力の全てを引き出している訳ではなかった。
換言すれば、 着磁へッ ドの能力が永久磁石の能力を制限すること とな つていた。
そこで、 本実施の形態では、 永久磁石 3のラジアル方向の肉厚を、 着 磁へッ ドの能力によ り制限された着磁電流でフル着磁できる程度まで薄 く した。 また、 永久磁石 3 の肉厚が薄く なるこ と によ り永久磁石 3 の磁力が従 来よ り弱ま り、 又、 磁力の維持能力も低下すること も考えられる力 s、 本 実施の形態では、 磁性材料と して、 S m - C 0系の磁性材料を用いること によ り、 これらの問題を解決した。 '
S m - C ο·系の磁性材料は、従来の等方性の磁性材料である N d - F e - B系のものと異な り、異方性を有している ものがある。これを用いると、 後述するよう に、 磁場配向を行う ことによ り、 肉厚が薄ぐなつても十分 な磁力を得ることができる。
更に、 S m - C ό系磁石は、 磁気モ一メ ン トのピン ング機構によ り、 磁気モーメ ン トが固定されているため、ピン二ング機構がない N' d - F e - B系磁石に比べて、機械加工減磁、 高温減磁が小さいことが知られてい 。
これは、' S m - C o系磁石では、 磁壁がピンニングサイ トによ り ピン止 めされ、 移動しにく く なっているためである。 ピン二ングサイ,トは大き さが数十 [ A ] 程度であり、 結晶粒の中に無数ある。 加工ス ト レスやそ の他の外部からの力によ り、 これらの一部が壊れたと しても大勢に影響 がない。
保磁力は、 磁壁を結晶内又は結晶粒界に固定することによ り発揮され るため、 S m - C 0系磁石は、 磁壁がピン止めされることによ り、 高い保 磁力を発揮するこ とができる。
そのため、 S m - C 0系磁石に応力などの力が作用したり、 温度が上昇 したり しても磁壁が移動できず、 その結果、 減磁しにくい構造になって いる。
このよ う に、 S m - C 0系磁石は、 着磁後に熱が加わったり、 応力など の力が加わっても、 N d— F e— B系磁石に比べて、 磁力を保つことが できるので、 永久磁石 3 の素材と してよ り好ま しい。 また、 従来は、 S m - C o系の磁性材料が優れていることは分かってい たが、 サマリ ウム (S m ) の価格が高かったため、 使用できなかったと いう一面があった。 しかし、 永久磁石 3 は、 内径も小さ く、 ラジアル方 向の肉厚も薄いため、 サマリ ウムの使用量が少なく て済み、 低価格で永 久磁石 3 を製造することができる。
従来からロータ磁石に用いられている N d— F e— B系ボン ド磁石な どの永久磁石は、 小型化、 薄肉化することは可能である。
しかし、 従来の永久磁石を小型化、 薄肉化すると減磁という問題と、 多極化を実現するための着磁方法に関する問題が生じる。
そのため、 小型の永久磁石としては、 N d— F e _ B系の磁性材料を 用いたものよ り も、 S m - C 0系の磁性材料を用いたものの方が望ま しい c 図 6 は、 モータ 3 0 を構成するのに可能な永久磁石 3 の極数、 ステー タのスロッ ト数、 及びモータ 3 0を駆動する女流の相数の組み合わせの 一例を表した一覧表である。
'本実施の形態では、一例と して、モータ 3 ひを、永久磁石 3が 1 2極、 スロッ ト数を 9、 モータ 3 0を駆動する交流の相数を 3 と したが、 図 6 に示したよう に、 各種の極数、 スロッ ト数、 相数の組み合わせが可能で め
現在最も用いられているのが、 永久磁石が 1 2極、 スロ ッ ト数カ s 9、 交流の相数が 3のものである。
. 図 7は、 等方性の磁性材料と異方性の磁性材料の加工工程の違いを説 明するための図である。
なお、 図 7で示されている磁性材料の磁気的な構造は加工工程を説明 するために模式的に示した図であって、 必ずしも現実の磁気的な物理構 造を示したものではない。
図 7 ( a ) は、 等方性の磁性材料の加工工程を説明するための模式図 である。 従来から多用されている N d - F e - B系の磁性材料は等方性の 磁性材料である。 磁性材料は、 磁気モーメン トを持った原子が含まれ ており、 これら磁気モーメ ン トの向きをそろえることによ り磁力を発揮 させる こ とができ る。

• 図 7 ( a ) の左側の図は着磁前の材料中の磁気モーメ ン トの向きを模 式的に表したものである。各磁気モーメ ン トの向きは矢印で表してある。 .図に示したよ'うに、着磁前では磁気モーメ ントの向きがランダムである。
この磁性材料は、 一般に粉末状であり、 これを型にはめて熱処理して 焼結したり、 あ 'るいは樹脂 (ボン ド) と共に熱処理して樹脂成形や圧縮. 成型することによ り成形される。 ·
. 次に、 成形された着磁前の磁石を機械加工して外寸を整えた後、 これ を着磁装置で着磁する。
· 着磁後に機械加工を行う と、 切削片が磁石に吸引.して仕上がりが悪く なるため、 一般的には、 機械加工後に着磁している。
図 7 ( b ) は、 異方性の磁性材料を説明するための模式図である。 本 実施の形態で用いた S m - C 0系の磁性材料は異方性を有している。
着磁前の異方性を持った磁性材料は、磁気モーメ ン トが揃った領域(組 織) が集まって構成されている。 図中では磁気モーメ ン トが揃った領域 を 3っ模式的に表し、 他の領域は省略している。
このよ う に異方性を持った磁性材料は、 磁場配向を行った後、 着磁す ると強力な磁界を発生することが知られている。
磁場配向とは、着磁して多極化する前に、素材を予め一方向に着磁し、 磁気モーメ ン トの方向を揃えておく こ とである。 異方性をもつ磁性材料からは、 以下の行程によ り永久磁石が製造され る。
まず、 粉末状の異方性磁性材料を.所定の型に入れて (焼結する場合は 粉末のまま、 樹脂成形する場合は樹脂と共に型に入れる) おおよその形 を形成する。 この際に、 型に入れたまま例えば 7 ト ン程度の圧力をかけ て材料を圧縮.し、 加熱するとよ り磁性材料の密度が高ま り、 よ り強い磁 力をもつ磁石をつく ることができる。
以下の熱処理して固化するまでの行程は型に入れたまま'行われる。 次に、 型に入れた磁性材料に一定の方向の磁界を作用させ、 磁場配向 によ り,、 磁気モ r"メ ン トの方向を一方向にそろえる。 この時点で、 磁性 材料は弱いながら磁気を带びる。
'' なお、 上では磁性材料を粉末のままで磁場配向を行う'ので乾式と呼ば れてお り、 磁場配向にはこの他に、 粉末を液体に浸して磁場配向を行う 湿式力 Sある。 - 次に、 磁場配向した磁性材料 こ交流磁場などを作用させて消磁する。 消磁することによ り、 磁性材料の磁気の方向を保つたまま磁気を帯びな いよう にすることができる。 これは、 消磁前には、 N.極と S極が同じ方 向に形成されていたのに対し、 消磁後には、 磁気の方向を保ったまま N 極と S極がランダムに配置されるためである。
つぎに、 これを熱処理して樹'脂成形、 又は焼結などを'行い固化して、 着磁前の永久磁石が形成される。
次に、 固化した磁性材料を型から取り出す。 そして、 これを機械加工 して外寸を整えた後、 着磁装置にて着磁する。 着磁前の永久磁石は消磁 によ り磁気を带ぴていないので、 機械加工中に、 切削片が吸着する トラ ブルを防止することができる。
永久磁石 3 を製造する場合は、 S m - C 0系の磁性材料を型に入れ、 図 7 ( c ) の左の図のよう におおよその形を作った後、 これを例えば、 内 側が N極、 外側が S極となるように、 一定方向に磁場配向を行う。
次に、 これを消磁して磁気を带びないよう にした後、'熱処理して樹脂 成形又は焼結などしてリ ング形状に成形する。
次に、 これを機械加工して外寸を整えた後、 着磁装置にて、 所定の極 数に着磁する。
次に、 永久磁石 3 ,の着磁について説明する。
図 8は、 永久磁石 3 を磁場配向装置の軸線方向の断面を模式的に表し た図である。'磁場配向装置は、 円柱形状の鉄心 4 1· と磁気回路 4 .0及び 電源装置 · 4 2などから構成されている。 . ,
• 鉄心 4 1の上部の周囲には、磁気回路 4 0 との間に間隙が設けてあり、 ' この間隙に永久磁石 3 を装着することができ.るよう'になっている。
■鉄心 4 1 には、 卷線 4 3が施してある。 そして、 卷線' 4' 3 には電源装 '置 4 2からパルス上の大電流を供給できるよう になつている。 卷線 4 3 に電流を流すと、 鉄心 4 1、 磁気回路 4 0に磁力'線が生じる。 そして、 磁気回路 4 0 と鉄心 4 1 の間隙に発生した磁界によ り、 永久磁石 3がー 方向に磁化される。
このよ う に、 永久磁石 3が小型になるにつれ、 磁場配向装置を小型化 する必要がある。 これに伴い卷線 4 3 に大電流を供給するのが困難にな つてく るカ 永久磁石 3は、 肉厚 tが制限されており厚く ないため、 少 ない電流によっても磁気飽和、 あるいは磁気飽和付近まで、 磁化するこ とが可能である。
図 9 ( a ) は、 着磁ヘッ ド 4 6の構造の軸線方向断面を模式的に示し た図である。
着磁ヘッ ド 4 6 は、 円柱形状を有しており、 周囲には複数の溝 4 8が 軸線方向に形成されている。 着磁へッ ド 4 6 の周囲には溝 4 8 によって 隔てられたコア 4 9力 s、 永久磁石 3の極数だけ等間隔に形成される。 これら溝 4 8の中には、それぞれ、導線 4 7が配設されている。なお、 図 9 ' ( a ) では、 導線 4 7は 2回ずつ溝 4 8内に卷装してある力 卷装 数は 1 回〜 4回程度が一般的である。
図 9 ( b ) は、 着磁ヘッ ド 4 6 を図 9 ( a ) の矢線 B方向に見たとこ ろを模式的に示した図である。
図に示したように、 導線 4 7は、 コア 4 9の周囲を蛇行するよう に配 設されている。 " '
このため、 導線 4 7 に直流電流を供給すると隣接するコア 4 9 に励磁 される磁極がそれぞれ逆となる。
着磁ヘッ ド 4 6の周囲に磁場配向された永久磁石 3 を配置して導線 4 7に直流電流を供給すると、 永久磁石 3 は'、' 'コア 4 9 によつて発生した 磁界によ り所望の極数に磁化される。
. 着磁へ',ッ ド 4 6はこのよう な構造に構成されているため、 永久磁石 , 3 が小型化、 更に多極化する と、 着磁へッ ド 4 ' 6に装着する導線 4 7力細 く なり、 大電流を流すことが困難になる。 ' ·
しかし、 本実施の形態の永久磁石 3 は、 肉厚 t を所定の範囲内に制限 しているため、 少ない電流でも磁気飽和、 あるいは磁気飽和付近まで永 久磁石 3 を磁化することができる。 また、 S m - C 0系の磁性材料を使用 しているため、' 肉厚 tが式 ( 3 ) の範囲内にあっても永久磁石 3 は安定 して十分な磁力を発生することができる。
図 1 0は、 N d— F e— B系の磁性材料である N d 2 F e 14 Bと、 S m - C o系の磁性材料である S m 2 C 0 17、 S m C o 5 で構成したモータ装 置用の永久磁石の加工による磁気特性(残留磁束密度の特性)の低下を、 各種実験の結果よ り推定したグラフである。
なお、 S m 2 C 0 17は、 異方性の磁性材料であり、 S m C o 5は等方性 の磁性材料である。
図 1 0は、 横軸に永久磁石のラジアル方向の厚さをと り、 縦軸に残留 磁束密度が低下した割合を。 /0にて表している。
図 こ示したよう に、 厚さが 2 [mm] 程度以上の場合は、 N d2F e 14 Bによる永久磁石と' S m 2 C o 17、 S m C o 5 による永久磁石に特に差は ない。
しかし、 厚さが 2 [mm] 以下になると、. N d2F e 14.Bによる永久磁 石は急激に残留磁束密度が低下し、 厚さが 1' [mm] 程度では、 1 O Q/o 程度低下している。
· これに対し、 S m2C o l7、 S m C o 5による永久磁石は、 厚さが薄く なっても残留磁束密度がほとんど低下しない。 厚さが 0. 5 [mm] 以 下の領域では、 等方性の磁性材料である S m'C 05 で構成した永久磁石 の残留磁束密度は低下するが、 異方性の磁性材料である S m2'C 017 で •構成した永久磁石の残留磁束密度は低下しないと推定される。
これらの推定結果から、 肉厚が 2 [mm] 以下の領域では、 N d— F e— B系の磁性材料よ り、 S m-C o系の磁性材料で構成した永久磁石の 方が残留磁束密度に関して優れており、 特に、 S m-C 0系の磁性材料の うち異方性のもので構成した永久磁石の特性が優れていることが推定さ

図 L 1 は、 N d— F e— B系の磁性材料である N d2F e l4Bと、 S m - C 0系の磁性材料である S m2C 017、 S m C ο δ で構成したモータ装 置用の永久磁石の加工による磁気特性 (最大エネルギー積) の低下を、 各種実験の結果よ り推定したグラフである。
図 1 1 は、 横軸に永久磁石のラジアル方向の厚さをと り、 縦軸にエネ ルギ一積が低下した割合を%にて表している。
図に示したよう に、 厚さが 2 [mm] 程度以上の場合は、 N d2F e l4 Bによる永久磁石と S m2C o 17、 S m C o 5による永久磁石に特に差は ない。
しかし、 厚さが 2 [mm] 以下になると、 N d 2 F e 14. Bによる永久磁 石は急激にエネルギー積が低下し、 厚さが 1 [mm] 程度では、 3 0 % 程度低下している。 .
これに対し、 S m2C 017、 S m C 05による永久磁石は、 厚さが薄く なってもエネルギー積がほとんど低下しない。 厚さ力?0. '5 [mm] 以 下の領域では、 等方性の磁性材料である S.m C 05 で構成した永久磁石 のエネルギー積は低下する 、 異方性の磁性材料である S m 2 C 017 で 構成した永久磁石のェネルギ一稹は低下しないと推定される。
これらの推定結果から、' 肉厚が 2 [mm] 以下の領域では、 N d— F e _ B系の磁性材料よ り、 S m-C o系の磁性材料で構成した永久磁石の 方がェネルギ―積の点で優れており、特に、' S m - C 0系の磁性材料のう ち異方性のもので構成した永久磁石の特性が優れている.ことが推定され る。
モータ用の永久磁石を製造する場合、 通常は、 磁性材料を着磁して永 久磁石と した後、研磨加工や切肖 1J加工を行い、永久磁石の外寸を整える。 以上の考察を考慮すると、 この場合、 永久磁石の肉厚が 2 [mm] 以下 となる領域では、 N d — F e _ B系の永久磁石よ り S m-C o系の磁石、 特に異方性の S m-C 0系の磁石を用いるのが望ましいことがわかる。 図 1 は、' N d 2 F e 14Bによる永久磁石と、 S m2C o'17による永久 磁石の温度による減磁率をプロッ ト したグラフである。
図 1 2から明らかなよう に、 1 0 0 [で] 程度までは、 両者と も減磁 率は数%の程度である。 しかし、 1 0 0 [°C] 以上の領域では、 N d 2 F e 14Bによる永久磁石は、 減磁率が急激に大き く なり、 2 0 0 [°C] 付近では 8 0 %以上減磁してしまうのに対し、 S m2 C 017 による永久 磁石は、 2 0 0 [°C] 付近でも減磁率が 2 0 %程度にとどまつている。 このよ う に、 S m-C 0系の永久磁石は、 N d _ F e— B系の永久磁石 よ り熱による磁気特性の変化が小さいことが期待できる。
以上、 図 1 0〜図 1 2では、磁性材料と して N d 2F e 14Bを用いて説 明したが、 例えば (N d D y) 2F e 14Bな.どの、 これに類似の磁性材料 · を用いても同様の結果が得られる。
以上に説明した本実施の形態は、 以下に示した ( 1 ) モータ装置用永 久磁石、 ( 2 ) モータ装置、 , (3 ) 着磁方法を提供するこ とができる。
( 1.) モータ装置のロータに配設されるモータ装置用永久磁石で.あつ て、 前記モータ装置用永久磁石は、 磁場配向後にラジア..ル方向に磁化さ れ、 磁化の方向が揃えられた区分が円周方向に等間隔に形成された、 外 径が 2 0 imm] 以下の円筒形状を有する異方性の S m— C o系磁性材 料から構成されていることを特徴とするモータ装置用永久磁石を提供す ることができる。
また、 モータ装置のロータに配設される円筒状のモータ装置用永久磁 石であって、 前記モータ装置用永久磁石は、 異方性を有する S m— C o 系磁性材料から構成されており、磁場配向後にラジァル方向に磁化され、 磁化の方向が揃えられた区分が円周方向に等間隔に形成されており、 前 記モータ装置用永久磁石の内径を D、 径方向の肉厚を t、 前記区分の数 を N、 前記モータ装置を駆動する交流電流の相数を Mと した場合、 前記 Dが 2 0 [mm] 以下で、 前記 t力 s t≤ ?r Dノ' ( N M - ττ ) となるよう に設定されていることを特徴とするモータ装置用永久磁石を提供するこ とができる。
(2 ) 全周に渡って円筒状の永久磁石が配設された回転対称体と、 前 記回転対称体の軸線上に配設された回転軸と、 を備えたロータ部と、 前 記永久磁石の内周に、 前記永久磁石と対向して、 相数 Μの交流によ り励 磁可能な複数のステ一タコィルが配設されたステ一夕部と、 前記回転軸 を前記ステ一タ部に、 前記回転対称体と前記ステ一タ コィルが同心とな るよう に回転自在に軸支する軸受部と、を具備したモータ装置であって、 前記永久磁石は、 磁場配向後にラジアル方向に磁化され、 磁化の方向が 揃えられた区分が円周方向に等間隔に形成された、 外径が 2 0 [ m m ] 以下の円筒形状を有する異方性の S m— C 0系磁性材料から構成されて いることを特徴とするモータ装置を提供することができる。
( 3 ) 外径が 2 0 [ m m ] 以下の円筒形状を有する異方性の S m _ C ΰ系磁性材料を用いたモータ装置用永久磁石の製造方法であって、 前記 磁性材料を型に入れて形成する形成ステツプと、 前記形成した磁性材料 に対して磁場配向を行う磁場配向ステッ プと、 前記磁場配向を行つた磁 '性材料を消磁す'る消磁ステッ プと、 前記消磁した'磁性材料を熱処理して 固化する熱処理ステップと、 前記熱処理した前記磁性材料を'外径'が 2 0 [ m m ]以下の円筒形状になるよう に機械加工する機械加エステップと、 前記機械加工した磁性材料を、 磁化の方向が揃えられた区分が円周方向 に等間隔に形成されるよう'に所定の極数にラジアル方向に着磁する着磁 ステップと、 から構成されたことを特徴とするモータ装置用永久磁石の 製造方法を提供するこ とができ る。
また、 型に入れて形成する形成ステツプは、 前記 S m - C 0系磁性材料 を型に入れて圧縮する圧縮ステップと、 前記圧縮した磁性材料を型に入 れたまま加熱する加熱ステツプを用いて構成すること も可能である。 産業上の利用可能性
以上に説明した本実施の形態によ り以下のよう な効果を得ることがで きる。
( 1 ) S m - C 0系の磁性材料を用いることによ り、経時変化及び温度変 ィヒに対して安定したモータ特性が得られる。
( 2 ) 多極化を図るこ とによ り、 動圧モータの場合で特に問題になる磁 気振動音 (ピュアトーン) を低減することができる。
( 3 ) 式 ( 3 ) を用いることによ り、 多極化のモータ磁気回路設計が可 能になる。
( 4 ) 着磁電流が着磁ヘッ ドに無理のない範囲で流せるので、 磁石の着 磁用へッ ド治工具が長持ちし、その結果、磁石着磁後の品質が安定する。
( 5 ) 多極化を図ることによ り コギングが小さ く なる
. 以上、 本発明の 1 .実施形態について説明したが、 本発明は説明した実 施形態に限定されるものではなく、 各請求項に記載した範囲において各 種の変形を行う ことが可能である。 ' '
' 例えば、 以上に説明したモータ 3 0は、 ロータ部がステ一 'タ部'の外側 に配設されたアウターロータ型のモータである力?、 これはモータの種類 をこれに限定するものではなく、 イ ンナ一ロータ型のモータとすること もできる。
ィンナーロータ型のモータの場合は、 永久磁石を固着したロータ部の 外周にステータ部が配設されており、 その結果、 永久磁石の周囲に複数 のステ一タコイルが等間隔で配設される。
本発明によれば、 小型で性能が良好なモータ装置を提供することがで きる。

Claims

請求の範囲
1 . モータ装置のロータに配設される円筒状のモータ装置用永久磁石で あって、
前記モータ装置用永久磁石は、 ラジアル方向に磁化され、 磁化の方向 が揃えられた区分が円周方向に等間隔に形成されており、 .
前記.モータ装置用永久磁石の内径を D、 径方向の肉厚,を t、 前記区分 の数を N、 前記モータ装置を駆動する交流電流の相数'を Mと した場合、 前記 Dが 2 0 [ m m ] 以下で、 前記 t力 ≤ rr D / (画一 ) となる よう に設定されていることを特徴とするモ一ダ装置用永久磁石。
2 . 前記モータ装置用永久磁石は S m— C 0系の磁性材料で構成されて ■ いる'ことを特徴とする請求項 1 に記載のモータ装置用永久磁石。
3 . 全周に渡 όて円筒状の永久磁石が配設された回転対''称体と、 前記回 転対称体の軸線上に配設された回転軸と、 を備えたロータ部と、
' ' 前記永久磁石の内周又は外周に、 前記永久磁石ど対向して、 相数 Μの 交流に 'よ り励磁可能な複数のステ一タコイルが配設されたステ一タ部と、 前記回転軸を前記ステータ部に、 前記回転対称体と前記ステ一タ コィ ルが同心となるよう に回転自在に軸支する軸受部と、
を具備したモータ装置であって、
前記永久磁石は、 ラジアル方向に磁化され、 磁化の方向が揃えられた 区分が円周方向に等間隔に形成されており、
前記永久磁石の内径を D、 径方向の肉厚を t、 前記区分の数を N、 前 記モータを駆動する交流電流の相数を Mと した場合、 前記 Dが 2 0 [ m m ] 以下で、 前記 tが t ≤ 7r D Z ( N - ττ ) となるよう に設定されて いることを特徴とするモータ装置。
4 . 前記永久磁石は S m— C 0系の磁性材料で構成されている ことを特 徴とする請求項 3 に記載のモータ装置。
5 . モータ装置のロータに配設される円筒状の永久磁石を、 ラジアル方 向に磁化され、 磁化の方向が揃えられた区分が円周方向に等間隔に形成 されるよう に着磁する着磁方法であり、
前記永久磁石は、 前記永久磁石の内径を 、 径方向の肉厚を t、 極数 を N、 前記モータ装置を駆動する交流電流の相数を Mと した場合、 前記 Dが 2 0 [ m m ] 以下で、 前記 tが t≤ 7Γ D / ( N M - π ) となるよう に構成されており、
前記永久磁石をラジアル方向の一方向に着磁する一方向着磁ステップ レ

前記一方向着磁ステップで一方向に着磁した永久磁石を、 ラジアル方 向に等間隔で磁化の方向が反転する区分に着磁する極着磁ステッ プと、 から構成されたことを特徴とする着磁方法。
6 . 前記永久磁石は S m— C 0系の磁性材科で構成されている こ とを特 徴とする請求項 5 に記載の着磁方法。
