It relates to the purification system.
  • NOx catalysts for reducing and removing NOx in the exhaust gas from internal combustion engines such as diesel engines and some gasoline engines, and various combustion devices. ing.
  • One of these is a NOx storage reduction catalyst as a NOx reduction catalyst for diesel engines.
  • NOx storage reduction catalyst By using this NOx storage reduction catalyst, NOx in the exhaust gas can be purified effectively.
  • This NOx occlusion reduction type catalyst is composed of a monolith cam or the like in which a large number of polygonal cells are formed on a carrier of a structural material made of cordierite, silicon carbide (SiC) or stainless steel. • NOx storage agents include alkali metals such as potassium (K), sodium (Na), lithium (Li) and cesium (Cs), alkaline earth metals such as barium (Ba) and calcium (Ca), lanthanum (La), It is formed from several forces from rare earths such as yttrium. As a result, the two functions of NOx occlusion and NOx release are purified by the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas.

  • the nitric acid-nitrogen (NO) which is also discharged from the engine power, is oxidized to the diacid-nitrogen (NO) by the catalytic function of the catalytic noble metal.
  • NOx is purified by storing nitrogen dioxide in NOx storage agent such as norium in the form of salt and salt such as nitrate.
  • the NOx occlusion agent changes to nitrates and loses the NOx occlusion function. Therefore, by changing the operating conditions of the engine or injecting fuel into the exhaust passage, rich combustion exhaust gas (rich spike gas) is produced and sent to the catalyst.
  • rich combustion exhaust gas rich spike gas
  • This gas is an exhaust gas in a state where oxygen is not present in the exhaust gas, the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) is high, and the exhaust temperature is high.
  • NOx regeneration operation is performed in order to make the NOx storage reduction catalyst function effectively.
  • NOx regeneration operation when the NOx occlusion capacity is close to saturation, the exhausted NOx is released and the catalyst is regenerated, so that the fuel is increased from the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio and the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas is made rich. This reduces the oxygen concentration of the inflowing exhaust gas and supplies the reduced composition exhaust gas to the catalyst.
  • rich control to restore this NOx storage capacity the NOx absorbed in the NOx storage agent is released. This released NOx is reduced by a noble metal catalyst.
  • NOx reduction capacity performance can be improved even with a NOx direct reduction catalyst other than the NOx storage reduction catalyst.

This device suppresses clogging of the cooling device in the reflux passage (EGR passage) due to fine particles, etc., and the particulate filter can be used even when the temperature of the exhaust gas (EGR gas) flowing into the EGR passage is low. It functions efficiently without blocking.

As a result, supply of unburned fuel to the EGR passage that exceeds the allowable adsorption amount of the unburned fuel adsorption device can be prevented. Therefore, the clogging of the EGR cooler can be prevented more reliably.
  • the allowable amount of unburned fuel adsorbed varies depending on the temperature of the unburned fuel adsorber. • High concentration unburned fuel supplied in the exhaust gas during rich control is adsorbed by an unburned fuel adsorbing device formed of HC adsorbent such as zeolite or silica in front of the EGR cooler. Therefore, there is no unburned fuel to play a role in soot noinda. Soot that has become dry reaches the engine without being deposited by the EGR cooler and is purified by combustion.

Hb= A Hb X A tbを算出する。
つまり、 Hc= Δ Hc X A teである。
