Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a packaging bag for containing and dispensing products, for example wet wipes being substantially in the form of folded sheets, arranged in a stack inside the packaging bag but also products under form of granules or powder.
  • products for example wet wipes being substantially in the form of folded sheets, arranged in a stack inside the packaging bag but also products under form of granules or powder.
  • the invention relates to the field of packaging products in general and more particularly to the packaging of impregnated supports.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide an improvement of such packaging bags to facilitate and improve the sealing of the flap vis-à-vis the envelope.
  • the invention proposes to add an upper bellows connecting the front and rear of the packaging bag and to secure the flap on the upper bellows through a cutout arranged on the front of the packaging bag.
  • the invention aims according to its most general acceptance a packaging bag having the general shape of an envelope comprising in particular a rear face and a front face, the front face being provided with a distribution window can be closed by a flap, the upper edges of the rear and front faces being sealed on the inner layer of a bellows said upper bellows, the flap and the front face are integral.
  • the upper edge of the front face has at least one cutout through which is sealed at least a portion of the inner layer of the upper edge of the flap on a portion of the inner layer of the upper bellows.
  • an upper bellows makes it easy to seal the flap with the outer surface of the envelope, even when the packaging bag is filled. Moreover, this configuration makes it possible to seal the inner layer of the flap with the inner layer of the upper bellows, which, on the other hand, the composition of the complex films makes it possible to improve the robustness of the assembly.
  • the outer layers of the various elements (the upper bellows, the front face, the rear face or the flap) forming the packaging bag correspond to the faces which form the outer casing of the packaging bag.
  • the inner layers of these elements correspond to the face inside the packaging bag when it is assembled or, in the case of the flap 8, to the inward facing side of the bag.
  • the portion of the flap to be sealed is devoid of adhesive or the adhesive has been neutralized.
  • the cutting of the front face is continuous.
  • the cutting of the front face substantially represents three quarters of the width of the packaging bag
  • the flap has two pre-cuts from the upper edge of the flap which define between them a central zone of the flap and in that the spacing of the pre-cuts substantially represents half the length of the zone. sealing the flap, preferably between two thirds and three fifths of the length of this sealing zone.
  • These pre-cuts can be used as a tamper-proof system. Indeed, when the packaging bags are open, the pre-cuts are torn off and thus become easily detectable.
  • the pre-cuts are arranged on either side of the dispensing window when the flap is glued against the front face.
  • the flap has at least one adhesive edge provided with an adhesive coating which makes it able to peel off and re-stick several times.
  • the upper bellows and the upper edges of the flap and the front and rear faces are crossed by a European hole.
  • FIG. 1 a perspective view of a packaging bag according to the invention ready for use
  • Figure 2 an exploded view of the embodiment of the packaging bag of Figure 1
  • Figures 3a and 3b front and rear views of an embodiment of the packaging bag according to Figure 3 and having a European hole
  • Figure 4 an embodiment of a packaging bag according to a second aspect of the invention.
  • Figures 1 and 2 show a first embodiment of a packaging bag 2 according to the invention formed from films comprising the rear face 4, the front face 6, the flap 8, the lower bellows 10 and the upper bellows 12 of the packaging bag 2.
  • These films are multilayer and comprise a heat-sealable inner layer, for example polyethylene, an intermediate barrier layer, such as aluminum, and an outer layer of plastic material, such as PVC, polypropylene or printable PET. (by screen printing, gravure printing, flexography, etc.). According to this arrangement, only the inner layers are heat-sealable to each other.
  • the rear faces 4 and front 6 are of substantially rectangular shape. They each have, in the position of use, two upper edges 4a, 6a and lower 4b, 6b rectilinear, and two side edges 4c, 6c slightly curved.
  • the inner layers of the side edges 4c, 6c of the rear faces 4 and front 6 are welded to each other.
  • the inner layers of the upper edges 4a, 6a of the rear faces 4 and front 6 are welded to the inner layer of the upper bellows 12.
  • the inner layers of the lower edges 4b, 6b of the rear faces 4 and front 6 are welded to the inner layer lower bellows 10.
  • the front face 6 has a distribution window 14 for successive gripping of a plurality of products stacked inside the packaging bag 2.
  • the dispensing window 14 has side edges 14c diverging towards the upper edge 6a of the front face 6 and connecting with the upper edges 14a by rounded.
  • the geometry of this distribution window 14 advantageously allows the flap 8 to be unstuck without damaging the appearance and shape of the front face 6 of the packaging bag 2.
  • the lateral edges 6c of the front face 6 are welded to the side edges 4c of the rear face 4.
  • the upper edges 6a, 4a and lower 6b, 4b of the front 6 and rear 4 are respectively welded to the inner layer of the bellows upper 12 and lower 10.
  • the function of the flap 8 is to cover the distribution window 14 of the front face 6 of the packaging bag 2. As such, and so as to ensure the tightness of the packaging, the flap 8 is coated with a glue or adhesive repositionable, possibly colored, over most of it. This adhesive or adhesive allows a succession of openings and closures while maintaining a good seal around the dispensing window 14.
  • the adhesive has only a peripheral edge to the distribution window 14, in particular to reduce production costs.
  • the flap 8 also has a gripping tab 16 allowing it to be easily detached from the front face 6.
  • the flap 8 also comprises two pre-cuts 18, arranged perpendicularly to the upper edge 8a of the flap 8. These pre-cuts 18 extend from the lower edge to the weld limit of this flap 8.
  • the spacing of the pre-cuts 18 is determined so that, once the flap 8 is glued to the front face 6 of the packaging bag 2, the pre-cuts 18 are on the side and other than the distribution window 14. Thus, only the portion of the flap 8 contained between the two pre-cuts off from the front face 6.
  • the spacing of these pre-cuts 18 is chosen so that the central portion of the flap 8 rests on a flat area of the packaging bag 2, even when it is very curved.
  • these pre-cuts are symmetrical with respect to the median axis of the flap and the spacing of the pre-cuts 18, at the weld of the flap 8 with the front face 6 or the upper bellows 12 , corresponds to two-thirds of the length of this weld.
  • the ends of the weld are not subjected to the mechanical stresses associated with the opening and closing cycles of the flap 8. The risk of separation of the weld is therefore considerably lessened.
  • the pre-cuts 18 are not rectilinear and have some oblique or curved parts. It is thus possible to vary the dimensions of the peelable surface of the flap 8.
  • Figure 2 illustrates, more particularly, an exploded view of the packaging bag 2 of Figure 1 and wherein the front face 6 has a continuous cutout 22, located on the upper edge of the front face 6. Alternatively , the cutout 22 could possibly be discontinuous.
  • this cutout 22 represents three quarters of the width of the packaging bag 2.
  • the thickness of this cutout 22 is slightly less than the thickness of the weld bead between the front face and the bellows, so as to despite the cutout 22, the front face is always sealed to the upper bellows 12.
  • the height of the upper edge ⁇ a of the flap 8 corresponds to the height of the cutout 22 of the front face 6.
  • the portion of the flap that will be welded is free of adhesive or the adhesive has been neutralized or else, the adhesive does not prevent sealing.
  • the inner layer of the upper edge 8a of the flap 8 is welded to the inner layer of the upper bellows 12 through the cutout 22 of the front face 6.
  • the heat sealing quality of the flap 8 with the upper bellows 12 is improved because the inner layers of the upper bellows 12 and the flap 8 are polyethylene or heat-sealable materials compatible.
  • the thickness of the weld bead is 7 millimeters
  • the thickness of the cutout 22 is 4 millimeters and, therefore, at the cutout 22, the upper edge 6a of the front face 6 is welded to the upper bellows to a thickness of 3 millimeters.
  • the lower bellows 10 and upper 12 have two components. However, it is also possible that these lower bellows 10 and upper 12 have an accordion structure and therefore have more than two components.
  • the blank 22 could be discontinuous (eg crenellations, sawtooth, etc.) to distribute the tearing forces imposed on the flap 8 on the weld bead.
  • Figures 3a and 3b respectively show the front and rear views of a second embodiment similar to the first embodiment of Figures 1 and 2.
  • the upper edge 6a of the front face 6 has a thickness of 15 mm and the cutout 22 a thickness of 8.5 mm, so as to allow the cutting of a European hole 24 on the packaging bag, without altering the sealing of the inner layer of the upper edge 8a of the flap 8.
  • this European hole 24 is positioned at the cutting line 22 of the upper edge 6a of the front face 6 so that said European hole 24 passes through the upper bellows 12 and the upper edges 8a, 6a, 4a of the flap 8 and the front 6 and rear 4.
  • the assembly of the front 6 and rear 4 faces with the upper bellows 12 is preferably performed prior to the cutting of the European hole 24.
  • the inner layer of the upper edge 8a of the flap 8 is also partially welded to the front face 6.
  • the upper edge 8a of the flap 8 which represents the sealing portion of this flap 8 on the surface of the envelope of the packaging bag may alternatively be:
  • This sealing varnish can be a varnish based on heat-sealable material for effectively sealing the polyethylene layer multilayer complex films on the front face 6. This reduces the risk of tearing flap.
  • the upper edge 8a of the inner layer of the flap 8 which represents the sealable portion of said flap 8 has no adhesive that may affect the quality of welding on the solder portion 6a of the front face 6 of the bag it covers.
  • the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown. It is possible that the invention is for example made on a packaging bag 2 having no lower bellows 10. Another possible embodiment, although less advantageous, would be to place the cutout 22 no longer on the periphery but on the inner part of the front face 6. This embodiment could allow for savings of adhesives.
  • the outer layer of the upper edge 6a of the front face 6 could have a sealing zone 20 on which would be sealed a portion of the inner layer of the upper edge 8a of the flap 8.
