Abstract

本発明は、嵩密度が大きく、かつ水に膨潤しやすい顆粒状カルボキシル基含有重合体粒子を簡便に製造する方法を提供することを目的とする。 本発明は、カルボキシル基含有重合体粒子を作製する工程、前記カルボキシル基含有重合体粒子を含液率が5~25質量%となるように極性有機溶媒を吸液させることにより、前記カルボキシル基含有重合体粒子の凝集体を作製する工程、および、前記カルボキシル基含有重合体粒子の凝集体を乾燥した後、粉砕する工程、を有することを特徴とする顆粒状カルボキシル基含有重合体粒子の製造方法である。
