Abstract

L'invention porte sur un appareil pour le séchage d'un matériau de biomasse particulaire, tel que des copeaux de bois, lequel appareil est constitué d'un récipient (14) avec un plancher (16) défini par une multiplicité de dalles parallèles longitudinalement mobiles (20) façonnées de façon à permettre à de l'air de circuler entre des dalles adjacentes mais de façon à inhiber le passage de matériau particulaire entre celles-ci. Il y a une sortie (35) adjacent à une extrémité des dalles (20), et il y a des éléments de cliquet (36) faisant saillie à partir de la surface supérieure des dalles (20). Les dalles sont déplacées en va-et-vient et les éléments de cliquet (36) produisent un déplacement net du matériau particulaire vers la sortie. Les éléments de cliquet (36) plus proches de la sortie (35) peuvent faire davantage saillie à partir de la dalle que ceux plus éloignés de la sortie.
