Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung und ein Verfahren zur kalibrierten Ermittlung von Teilkapazitäten kapazitiver Sensoren mit mehreren Teilkapazitäten (Ci), mit einer Signalquelle (SG), deren Ausgangssignal den Einzelelektroden (T1, T2) eines Sensors selektiv zugeführt werden kann, mit einer Verstärkeranordnung (AMP, DEM) für an zumindest einer Elektrode (E1) abgenommene Messsignale (SE) und mit einem nichtflüchtigen Speicher (NVM), wobei die Steuer- und Auswerteschaltung (STG) sowie die Rechenschaltung (RS) dazu eingerichtet sind, in einer Kalibrierphase Messwerte (Yki) aufzunehmen, wobei die relativen Kapazitätswerte (cκi) für jedes Elektrodenpaar für wenigstens zwei Messungen bekannt sind, diese Messwerte (Yki) oder daraus abgeleitete Werte in dem nichtflüchtigen Speicher (NVM) abzulegen und in einer später folgenden Messphase in einem ersten Schritt Messwerte (YMi) aufzunehmen, aus diesen in einem weiteren Schritt einen Proportionalitätsfaktor (k) unter Verwendung wenigstens eines relativen Kapazitätswertes (cmj) zu ermitteln und in einem weiteren Schritt aus den Messwerten (YMi), dem Proportionalitätsfaktor (k) und den Werten (Yki) aus dem nichtflüchtigen Speicher oder daraus abgeleiteter Größen die relativen Kapazitätswerte (cmi) zu ermitteln.
