Abstract

　本発明は、ハウジングの軸孔内周に装着されて、前記軸孔に挿通した軸の周面に摺動自在に密接するリップタイプシールを前記軸孔内周に装着する構造において、軸径が同じでも軸孔径が異なる装着箇所に使用する場合であっても同一仕様のリップタイプシールを使用可能とすることを目的とする。この目的を達成するため、リップタイプシール１をその外周側に配置したカートリッジ５１を介して軸孔７２内周に装着する構造とする。カートリッジ５１は、小径筒部５２に段差部５３を介して大径筒部５４を一体成形した段付き形状を有し、小径筒部５２の内周面にリップタイプシール１を嵌合するとともに大径筒部５４の外周面にて軸孔７２内周に嵌合される。またカートリッジ５１はその製作時に、小径筒部５２の径寸法を一定に設定されるとともに大径筒部５４の径寸法を装着予定の軸孔径に合わせて設定される。
