Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Kompositmaterial, umfassend wenigstens ein superabsorbierendes Polymer und wenigstens einen elastischen Aminoplastschaum als Trägermaterial, Hygieneprodukte, Dichtmaterialien, Isolierstoffe, Trockenmittel, Wasserspeicher, Verpackungen und künstliche Pflanzensubstrate, enthaltend ein Kompositmaterial, sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kompositmaterials enthaltend wenigstens einen elastischen Aminoplastschaum als Trägermaterial und wenigstens ein superabsorbierendes Polymer umfassend die Schritte: (A) Bereitstellen einer wässrigen Lösung oder Dispersion, welche Vorläuferverbindungen des wenigstens einen elastischen Aminoplastschaum und gegebenenfalls weitere Zusätze enthält, (B) Zugabe wenigstens eines superabsorbierenden Polymers zu der wässrigen Lösung oder Dispersion aus Schritt (A), und (C) Polymerisieren der Vorläuferverbindungen des wenigstens einen elastischen Aminoplastschaumes in der wässrigen Lösung oder Dispersion aus Schritt (B), um das Kompositmaterial zu erhalten, durch Erhitzen.
