Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif à brosse pour une installation de lavage automobile comportant au moins une traverse horizontale (1) sur laquelle est monté au moins un bras porteur (2) de manière à pouvoir pivoter sur un plan horizontal. Sur une extrémité du bras porteur (2) est prévu un raccord articulé (4) qui est articulé de manière à pouvoir pivoter, au niveau de son extrémité supérieure, autour d'un axe d'articulation horizontal (5) sur le bras porteur (2), et une brosse de lavage (6) qui est montée de manière à pouvoir pivoter, au niveau de son extrémité inférieure, autour d'un axe de pivotement horizontal de la brosse (7). L'objectif de l'invention est de réaliser un tel dispositif à brosse qui permette de nettoyer de façon satisfaisante également les zones en coin des véhicules. A cette fin, l'axe d'articulation (5) et l'axe de pivotement de la brosse (7) forment un angle compris entre 30° et 60°. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de nettoyage d'un véhicule dans une installation de lavage automobile équipée d'un dispositif à brosse conforme à l'invention.
