Abstract

L'invention concerne, en se référant à la Figure 1, une unité (10) de transmission destinée à relayer la puissance d'un vilebrequin de moteur à combustion interne à un accessoire de moteur. L'unité de transmission comporte un carter (13), un arbre (12) d'entrée pouvant tourner dans le carter (13), une poulie (11) de sortie, un train épicycloïdal d'engrenages comportant un planétaire (40), des satellites (19), un porte-satellites (20) et une couronne (14), un dispositif (30) de roue libre, un anneau de masselottes (44) qui tournent avec la rotation de l'arbre (12) d'entrée et un mécanisme (21; 22) de freinage actionné par les masselottes et destiné à freiner le train épicycloïdal d'engrenages. Pour une première gamme de basses vitesses de rotation de l'arbre d'entrée, l'unité (10) de transmission possède un premier mode de fonctionnement dans lequel la puissance est transmise de l'arbre (12) d'entrée à la poulie (11) de sortie via le train épicycloïdal d'engrenages. Pour une deuxième gamme de vitesses de rotation plus élevées de l'arbre d'entrée, l'unité (10) de transmission possède un deuxième mode de fonctionnement dans lequel le dispositif (30) de roue libre bloque la poulie (11) de sortie de façon à ce qu'elle tourne avec l'arbre (12) d'entrée. Le mécanisme (21; 22) de freinage actionné par les masselottes opère la commutation de l'unité (10) de transmission entre les premier et deuxième modes de fonctionnement. Les masselottes (44), le mécanisme (21; 22) de freinage et le train épicycloïdal d'engrenages sont tous logés à l'intérieur du carter (13). L'huile de lubrification éjectée radialement à partir de l'arbre (12) d'entrée est retenue par le carter (13).
