Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Katalysator zur Umsetzung von Carbonsäurenitrilen mit Wasser, wobei der Katalysator mindestens 60 Gew.-% Mangandioxid mit einer Summenformel MnOx, wobei x im Bereich von 1,7 bis 2,0 liegt, und mindestens ein Plastifizierungsmittel umfasst. Weiterhin betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der zuvor dargelegten Katalysatoren sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Carbonsäureamiden durch Umsetzung von Carbonsäurenitrilen mit Wasser in Gegenwart des vorliegenden Katalysators.
