Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un mélange de biocarburants comprenant des esters d'acides gras et au moins un mélange d'éthers de glycérol à partir de matières grasses pouvant contenir des acides gras libres et d'éthanol comprenant : a) une étape de transestérification d'une l'huile végétale ou animale par de l'éthanol en présence d'un catalyseur à base d'au moins un sel alcalin ou d'ammonium d'hétéropolyacide caractérisé par une chaleur différentielle d'absorption d'ammoniac supérieure ou égale à 150 KJ/mol, stable à T>150°C, pour obtenir des esters d'acides gras et du glycérol, et, b) une étape d'éthérification du glycérol formé lors de l'étape a) par l'alcool mis en jeu à l'étape a) en présence du catalyseur de l'étape a) pour obtenir au moins un éther du glycérol, les dites étapes a) et b) ayant lieu simultanément, dans un seul et même réacteur.
