Abstract

La présente invention concerne un projectile à sabot (1) comprenant un corps de projectile sous-calibré (2) et un sabot (4) présentant un élément propulseur (5) qui agit sur le côté arrière du corps de projectile (2), un élément de guidage (7) qui s'appuie radialement sur le côté avant du corps de projectile (2) et qui est composé de deux demi-disques (12, 13), ainsi qu'un logement de guidage cylindrique (6) qui se trouve entre l'élément propulseur (5) et l'élément de guidage (7), qui entoure le corps de projectile (2) et qui est composé de deux segments (10, 11) en forme de demi-coques. L'objectif de l'invention est que ledit projectile à sabot (1) puisse être fabriqué à faible coût, que ce dernier présente un faible poids et que le sabot (4) se détache bien du corps de projectile (2) après le tir. Cet objectif est atteint en ce que l'élément propulseur (5), le logement de guidage (6) et l'élément de guidage (7) sont reliés les uns aux autres par au moins quatre éléments de raccord (14) conçus sous forme de tiges. Ces éléments de raccord (14) s'étendent axialement à l'extérieur le long du logement de guidage (6) et leurs régions d'extrémité sont reliées à l'élément propulseur (5) et à l'élément de guidage (7) selon un assemblage à force et/ou par complémentarité de forme.
