Abstract
Un mode de réalisation de l'invention concerne un dispositif médical incluant un capteur destiné à fournir des signaux indicateurs d'un état postural détecté d'un patient. Une mémoire stocke un ou plusieurs vecteurs définis, chaque vecteur défini étant associé à une tolérance décrivant une relation avec le vecteur défini. Un processeur détermine une similarité respective entre le vecteur détecté et chacun des dits un ou plusieurs vecteurs définis et classe un état postural du patient sur la base du fait qu'une quelconque similarité a ou non une relation avec le vecteur défini respectif qui est décrit par la tolérance associée. Dans un mode de réalisation, la similarité est déterminée sans considérer un système de coordonnées du patient. Un autre mode de réalisation concerne la détermination de la similarité sur la base d'au moins l'un des éléments parmi un produit interne, une longueur du vecteur postural défini et une longueur du vecteur défini.
