Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Laserentfernungsmesser und ein Verfahren zum Messen der Entfernung eines anvisierten Zieles (3), nach dem Prinzip der Impulslaufzeitmessung arbeitend, bei dem der optoelektronische Empfänger (4) vor dem Auftreffen zerstörender, am Ziel (3) reflektierter Strahlungsenergieanteile der ausgesandten Laserpulse geschützt wird. Der Entfernungsmesser weist zwei Laserstrahlungsquellen (1, 8) unterschiedlicher Pulsenergie auf. Erst wenn ein Laserpuls mit der geringen Pulsenergie zu keinem auswertbaren Empfangssignal führt, wird ein Laserpuls hoher Pulsenergie ausgesandt.
