Abstract
The invention relates to a device (1) capable, in a few seconds and without requiring any dangerous cutting instruments, of automatically opening univalve and multivalve shells by applying a very intense source of energy to the ends of the adductor muscle (20, 21) thereof. The invention is therefore suitable for instantly separating the flesh while ensuring that all the freshness and organoleptic properties thereof remain intact. The device is made up of two parts between which the source of energy used diverges to produce an electric voltage/heat with the temperature level required to perform the action to be carried out.
