 紙幣入出金機の搬送路を短くして、紙幣ジャムの発生を抑制するようにする。 紙幣の入出金口を有する接客部(1)と、紙幣に関する鑑別を行う鑑別部(3)と、紙幣を保留する一時保留部(4)と、前記鑑別部3で鑑別された紙幣の搬送方向を切り替える切替ブレード(6)と、この切替ブレード(6)の切替タイミングを検出する切替タイミングセンサ(5)と、紙幣を収納する金種カセット(11)とを有し、これらを搬送路で連結した紙幣入出金機において、搬送路の内の、鑑別部3から接客部(1)に繋がる搬送路に、円弧状に形成した円弧状搬送路(20)を設けた。

Description

媒体処理装置
 本発明は、紙幣入出金機(ATM)等に搭載される紙幣入出金機等の媒体処理装置に関する。
 従来の媒体処理装置としての紙幣入出金機は、入金取引においては、顧客が接客部に紙幣を投入すると、投入された紙幣を搬送路によって接客部から、紙幣の金種および正損を鑑別する鑑別部に搬送する。そして、この鑑別部で正常紙幣と鑑別された紙幣は、搬送路で一時保留部へ搬送して保留する。また、鑑別部でリジェクト紙幣と鑑別された紙幣は、搬送路により接客部へ戻して顧客に返却する。顧客が入金金額を確定すると、一時保留部に保留した紙幣は、鑑別部での金種の再鑑別後に、鑑別された金種に応じて搬送路により各金種カセットへ収納している。
 また、出金取引においては、顧客が出金金額を入力すると、各金種セットから紙幣を繰出して搬送路により鑑別部へ搬送する。そして、鑑別部で正常紙幣と鑑別された紙幣は搬送路により接客部に搬送して顧客に払い出す。また、鑑別部でリジェクト紙幣と鑑別された紙幣は、搬送路により鑑別部からリジェクト庫へ搬送して集積している(例えば、特許文献1(特開2008-217465公報))。
 このような従来の技術においては、紙幣入出金を行う接客部、鑑別部、一時保留部、金種カセット、リジェクト庫等の各機能部を搬送路で連結している。このため、装置をできるだけ小型化するためには、装置内の狭い箇所に搬送路を配置しなければならない。そこで、ターン部を90度以下の角度で屈折させた搬送路や、ベルト搬送でのフィード力を発生させるためにベルトを巻きつけた波状の搬送路や、鑑別部から切替タイミングセンサまでの距離を、鑑別部による鑑別のための演算時間を確保する長さとするための迂回するルートで構成した搬送路等が必要になる。これにより、紙幣ジャムが発生し易くなるという問題があり、また搬送路の構成が複雑化し、製造コストが増加するという問題がある。
 また、出金時のリジェクト紙幣(出金リジェクト紙幣)は、鑑別部を通過後に、リジェクト用に設定されたリジェクト庫へ搬送している。このため、鑑別部の直後に出金リジェクト紙幣の搬送方向をリジェクト庫の方向へ切り替えるための切替ブレードおよびその切替タイミングを検出する切替タイミングセンサが必要になる。これにより、鑑別部からその下流に存在する一時保留部までの入金時の紙幣の搬送路が長くなって、入金時の紙幣の搬送における紙幣ジャムが発生し易くなるという問題がある。
 本発明は、このような問題を解決することを課題とする。
 そこで、本発明は、紙幣の入出金口を有する接客部と、紙幣に関する鑑別を行う鑑別部と、紙幣を保留する一時保留部と、前記鑑別部で鑑別された紙幣の搬送方向を切り替える切替ブレードと、この切替ブレードの切替タイミングを検出する切替タイミングセンサと、紙幣を収納する金種カセットと、前記各部の間を連結する搬送路とを備えた媒体処理装置において、前記鑑別部から接客部につながる搬送路に、円弧状に形成した円弧状搬送路を設けたことを特徴とする。
 このようにした本発明は、接客部、紙幣鑑別部、一時保留部、金種カセットを短い距離で結ぶことができ、かつ、搬送路のターン部をなめらかにすることで、紙幣ジャムの発生が少なく安定した搬送を実現することができるという効果が得られる。

 以下、図面を参照して本発明による実施例を説明する。
 図1は実施例1の紙幣入出金機を示す構成説明図である。
 図において、1は入金紙幣の投入および出金紙幣の受け取りを行う入出金口を有する接客部である。2はこの接客部1より分離搬送された紙幣を搬送する途中に切替ブレード2aが設けられた搬送路である。3は紙幣の金種、正損、走行状態等の紙幣に関する各種の鑑別を行う鑑別部である。4は入金時に取り込まれた正常紙幣や出金リジェクト紙幣等を集積して一時保留する一時保留部である。
 5は紙幣の搬送方向を接客部1または一時保留部4の方向へ切り替える切替ブレード6の切替タイミングを検出する光学式の切替タイミングセンサである。7は鑑別部3で搬送異常や損券等と鑑別された入金時のリジェクト紙幣(入金リジェクト紙幣)を接客部1へ戻す搬送路である。8は鑑別部3から切替タイミングセンサ5までの搬送路である。9は切替タイミングセンサ5から切替ブレード6までの搬送路である。10は搬送路2上に設けた切替ブレード2aから収納繰出可能な金種カセット11に繋がる搬送路である。
 金種カセット11は複数のカセット11a、11b、11cにより構成され、設定された金種に応じて紙幣が金種別に収納される。なお、この金種カセットの数は3つに限るものではなく、任意に設定される。
 12は出金リジェクト紙幣や取り忘れ紙幣を収納するリジェクト庫である。13は金種カセット11からリジェクト庫12を通過する振分け搬送路である。14は金種カセット11aへの振分けを行うブレードである。15は金種カセット11bへの振分けを行うブレードである。16は金種カセット11cへの振分けを行うブレードである。
 上記構成において、接客部1から鑑別部3までの搬送路2の長さをL1とする。鑑別部3から切替タイミングセンサ5までの搬送路8の長さをL2とする。切替タイミングセンサ5から切替ブレード6までの搬送路9の長さをL3とする。切替ブレード6から接客部1までの搬送路7の長さをL4とする。搬送路2上の切替ブレード2aからブレード14までの搬送路10の長さをL5とする。
 以下に上記構成の動作を説明する。
 接客部1に投入された紙幣が一枚ずつ分離されると、図示しない監視センサで分離可能と判断されて紙幣が搬送路2に繰り出される。繰り出された紙幣は、搬送路2により鑑別部3へ搬送され、鑑別部3で紙幣を鑑別した後に、搬送路8、搬送路9を通る。
 そして、正常紙幣は、切替ブレード6を切り替えて一時保留部4へ集積して取り込まれる。入金リジェクト紙幣は、搬送路7を通って接客部1へ搬送する。
 この場合の接客部1から繰り出された紙幣が監視センサで搬送可能と判断されるまでの必要長さが搬送路2の長さL1として設定される。
 また、紙幣が鑑別部3を通過し、その紙幣の正損や走行状態の鑑別が終了するまでの必要長さが搬送路8の長さL2として規定される。
 切替タイミングセンサ5から切替ブレード6までの搬送路9の長さL3は、切替タイミングセンサ5が紙幣を検知してから切替ブレード6が切り替わるまでの時間に紙幣が搬送される長さおよびスキュー(斜行)した紙幣の先端の先行分を考慮して設定される。
 また、入金リジェクト紙幣は、切替ブレード6により搬送路7へ搬送される。この搬送路7の長さL4はできるだけ短く設定される方がよい。
 よって、L1+L2+L3+L4を最短に設定する搬送路形状が取り込み時の理想の搬送路となる。
 入金確定後の金種カセット11への収納時は、一時保留部4から繰り出された紙幣を、切替ブレード6を切り替えて搬送路9、搬送路8により鑑別部3へ搬送して再鑑別する。そして、切替ブレード2aを切り替えて鑑別された金種に応じて搬送路10により金種カセット11a~11cへ搬送して収納する。
 よって、L2+L3+L5を最短に設定する搬送路形状が収納時の理想の搬送路となる。
 出金は、金種カセット11a、11b、11cから繰り出した紙幣を搬送路10により搬送する。そして、切替ブレード2aを切り替えて搬送路2により紙幣を鑑別部3へ搬送し、鑑別部3で紙幣を鑑別する。紙幣を鑑別した後に、搬送路8、搬送路9を通り、出金リジェクト紙幣は、切替ブレード6を切り替えて一時保留部4へ集積される。出金紙幣は、搬送路7を通って接客口1へ搬送される。
 なお、出金時に一時保留部4に集積された出金リジェクト紙幣は、出金取引の終了後等に、一時保留部4から繰り出される。そして、入金時における収納動作と同様に、出金リジェクト紙幣は、リジェクト庫12へ搬送して収納される。
 よって、L5+L2+L3+L4を最短に設定する搬送路形状が出金時の理想の搬送路となる。
 上記した取込時、収納時、出金時の理想の搬送路形状を実現するために、本実施例では、円弧状搬送路20を用いている。
 通常、装置は、縦、横の寸法が規定されており、また、接客部1で投入された紙幣を再度接客部1に戻す必要がある。このため、鑑別部3と接客部1との間は搬送路8、搬送路9、搬送路7によりループ状に連結されることになる。
 この鑑別部3から接客部1に繋がるループ状の搬送路は、これを構成する複数のローラの間を接線方向に直線で繋いで形成すると、そのターン部の屈折が強くなってしまう。
 そこで、鑑別部3と接客部1との間を連結する搬送路8(長さL2)、搬送路9(長さL3)、搬送路7(長さL4)の一部に、ローラ間を比較的大きな円弧(本実施例では半円弧)で繋いだ円弧状搬送路20を設ける。そして、L2+L3+L4の長さを短くすると共にターン部の急激な屈折をなくすようにしている。
 本実施例の円弧状搬送路20は、図1に示す如く、複数のフィードローラ21とこのフィードローラ21に対向配置されたプレッシャローラ22と、これらフィードローラ21とプレッシャローラ22とに挟持搬送されて紙幣ガイドとなる一対の搬送ガイド23、24とで構成されている。そして、複数のフィードローラ21を内接させる円弧からなる円弧状搬送路20は、緩やかな曲率のターン部を有する搬送路とする。
 以下に、上記円弧状搬送路20について、図2を用いてさらに詳細に説明する。
 フィードローラ21は、紙幣の搬送方向の直交方向に向けられた回転軸21aを中心に図示しない動力源により正逆方向に回転駆動される。
 プレッシャローラ22は、円弧状搬送路20の円弧の曲率中心O(円弧の2つの法線の交点をいう。)からの半径方向の外側でフィードローラ21に対向配置されている。そして、プレッシャローラ22は、フィードローラ21の回転軸21aと平行に配置された回転軸22aに設けられている。また、図示しないばね部材により、プレッシャローラ22は、フィードローラ21の外周面に押し付けられており、フィードローラ21の回転に伴って従動回転する。
 一対の搬送ガイド23、24は、それぞれ円弧状搬送路20の曲率中心Oを中心とした円弧状に形成され、円弧状搬送路20を挟んで対向配置されている。そして、一対の搬送ガイド23、24は、フィードローラ21とプレッシャローラ22とに挟持されて搬送される紙幣の表裏の面をガイドするようになっている。
 上記したフィードローラ21とプレッシャローラ22との押圧部の隣り合う2つの間は、搬送すべき紙幣の搬送方向の長さより短い弧の長さからなるローラ間搬送長さLの間隔とされている。そして、その曲率中心Oにおける挟み角をθとすると、円弧状搬送路20の円弧の半径rは、

 これにより、本実施例の円弧状搬送路20は、曲率中心Oを中心とした半径rの円弧で形成されている。そして、円弧状搬送路20は、挟み角θをローラピッチとして複数のフィードローラ21が配置されたローラ間搬送長さLの搬送路となる。
 このように構成した円弧状搬送路20は、鑑別部3から接客部1に繋がる搬送路8、搬送路9、搬送路7を短くすることができると共に、搬送ルートのターン部の曲がりを緩やかにすることができる。これにより、紙幣ジャムの発生を抑制することができる。
 また、鑑別部3から接客部1に繋がる搬送路8の構成部品を低減して低価格で安定した紙幣搬送を実現することができる紙幣入出金機となる。
 さらには、出金リジェクト紙幣を円弧状搬送路20から切替ブレード6で分岐させて一時保留部4に一旦集積する。これにより、リジェクト庫12へ搬送するための搬送路を特別に設ける必要がなくなり、鑑別部3から一時保留部4に繋がる搬送ルートを短くして紙幣ジャムの発生を抑制することができる。さらに、構成部品を低減して低価格で安定した紙幣搬送を実現することができる紙幣入出金機となる。
 以上の構成によると、鑑別部から接客部に繋がる搬送路に、円弧状に形成した円弧状搬送路を設ける。これにより、紙幣搬送ルートの距離を短くすると共に、屈折路をなくすことができ、紙幣ジャムの発生を抑制することができる。
 図3は本実施例の紙幣入出金機を示す概略説明図である。なお、上記実施例1と同様の部位は同一符号とし、説明は省略する。
 図において、41は、円弧状搬送路20の曲率中心Oに紙幣の搬送方向に対して直交方向に設けられた回転軸41aを中心に、図示しない動力源により正逆方向に回転駆動される円筒状のドライブローラである。
 図4に示す如く、このドライブローラ41は、図3に示す各プレッシャローラ22と当接する部分にゴム等による摩擦部材42を設けた円筒状のローラである。そして、この摩擦部材42の外周面が曲率中心Oを中心とした半径rで形成されており、上記実施例1に示した円弧状搬送路20の円弧の半径rと同じとなっている。
 摩擦部材42以外の部分は直径が小さく形成された円筒状になっており、その外周面は、実施例1に示した搬送ガイド23の円弧面と同じになるように形成されている。さらに、その外周面は、摩擦部材42とプレッシャローラ22との間に挟持されて搬送される紙幣をガイドするガイド面43となるようにしてある。
 なお、各プレッシャローラ22の回転軸22aはドライブローラ41の回転軸41aと平行にして配置され、各プレッシャローラ22は、上記実施例1と同様に、挟み角θをローラピッチとして配置されている。
 図5、図6に示す如く、この場合の切替タイミングセンサ5は、ドライブローラ41のガイド面43に形成した細径部44内に配置されたセンサ素子5aと、円弧状搬送路20の半径方向の外側に配置されたセンサ素子5aに対向するセンサ素子5bと、を備えている。
 なお、図7に示す如く、ドライブローラ41のガイド面43を透明材料で構成し、ガイド面43の筒内にセンサ素子5aを軸方向に差し込んで配置し、対向するセンサ素子5bを円弧状搬送路20の半径方向の外側に配置するようにして、切替タイミングセンサ5を構成してもよい。
 このように構成された円弧状搬送路20は、上記実施例1と同様に、鑑別部3から接客部1に繋がる搬送路8、搬送路9、搬送路7を短くすることができると共に、搬送ルートのターン部の曲がりを緩やかにすることができ、紙幣ジャムの発生を抑制することができる。
 また、鑑別部3から搬送された紙幣が、摩擦部材42とプレッシャローラ22との間に挟持され、ドライブローラ41の回転に伴って搬送される。これにより、ドライブローラ41と紙幣は相対的には止まった状態となって搬送されるため、紙幣の状態による搬送ガイドへの衝突および引っ掛かりが軽減され、紙幣ジャムの発生をさらに抑制することができる。
 さらにまた、紙幣とドライブローラ41との相対的な移動がないので、摩擦による静電気の発生が少なくなり、電気回路へのノイズの軽減を図ることができると共に紙幣のドライブローラ41への張り付きを防止することができる。
 さらには、本実施例の円弧状搬送路20は、摩擦部材42とガイド面43とを設けた円筒状のドライブローラ41と、摩擦部材42の外周面を押圧するプレッシャローラ22とで構成されている。このため、ドライブローラ41が上記実施例1の搬送ガイド23を兼ねることができ、さらに安価な構成とすることができる。
 以上の構成によると、上記実施例1と同様の効果が得られると共に、ドライブローラと紙幣は相対的には止まった状態となって搬送される。このため、紙幣ジャムの発生をさらに抑制することができる。
 また、紙幣とドライブローラの摩擦が少ないために、静電気の発生も少なく、回路へのノイズを軽減させると共に紙幣の張り付きを防止することができる。
 本実施例は、上記実施例1および実施例2のどちらの構成にも適用できるものであり、本説明は実施例2の構成を用いて説明する。
 図8は本実施例の紙幣入出金機の要部構成の説明図であり、実施例2の図3と同様の部位は同一符号とし、説明は省略する。
 図において、45は円弧状搬送路20から一時保留部4へ搬送する際の分岐部46に設けた切替ブレード6で搬送方向を切り替えた直後に設けられたローラ対である。ローラ対45は、図示しない動力源により正逆方向に回転駆動されるフィードローラ45aと、これを押圧するプレッシャローラ45bとで構成されている。
 ここで、図9に示す如く、δ1は、ドライブローラ41と分岐部46のドライブローラ41の円周方向の一の側に設けられたプレッシャローラ22(図8において切替ブレード6の先端側に配置されたプレッシャローラ22)との押圧部の接線と、ドライブローラ41と分岐部46を挟んで一の側のプレッシャローラ22の反対側に設けられたプレッシャローラ22(図8において一の側のプレッシャローラ22の接客部1側に配置されたプレッシャローラ22)との押圧部の接線と、の交点の交差角を示す。
 δ2は、ドライブローラ41と一の側のプレッシャローラ22との押圧部の接線と、ローラ対45の押圧部の接線と、の交点の交差角を示す。
 δ3は、ローラ対45の押圧部の接線と、ドライブローラ41と反対側のプレッシャローラ22との押圧部の接線と、の交点の交差角を示す。
 上記した3つの交点を一致させ、円弧状搬送路20から一時保留部4への分岐後の搬送路を円弧状搬送路20との接続点の接線を一致させた円弧で形成する。そして、一の側のプレッシャローラ22とローラ対45との間を上記実施例1のローラ間搬送長さLとする。さらに、交差角δ1、δ2、δ3の角度をそれぞれ120°で配置する。
 これにより、ローラ対45への搬送方向は、円弧状搬送路20の曲率中心Oと直角をなし、一の側のプレッシャローラ22からはいずれも接線方向に抜けられる角度となる。
 このとき、隣り合うプレッシャローラ22間の挟み角θは60°となり、円弧状搬送路20上には、60°毎にプレッシャローラ22を配置した状態となる。なお、このローラ間の挟み角θは、正確な60°でなくてもよく、60°付近であっても同様である。
 また、ローラ間搬送長さLおよび挟み角θ(60°)を基に、上記式(1)により円弧状搬送路20の半径rを求めて円弧状搬送路20の搬送ルートを決定し、本実施例に適用する。
 なお、上記のローラ対45の配置は、円弧状搬送路20が、上記実施例1のフィードローラ21とプレッシャローラ22とで形成されている場合であっても同様である。
 以上の構成によると、上記実施例1と同様の効果が得られる。さらに、円弧状搬送路上に分岐部がある場合の、円弧状搬送路のローラピッチを60°にすることで、搬送路上に無駄にローラを配置することなく、かつ、分岐後の搬送路も円弧状搬送路と同様の緩やかな曲率をなした状態で搬送が可能となる。さらに、これにより、小型の装置となると同時に搬送が滑らかになり、ジャムの発生を軽減することができる。
 本実施例は、上記実施例2におけるドライブローラの構造を変えたものである。
 図10はドライブローラの斜視図、図11はドライブローラの正面図であり、実施例2の図3と同様の部位は同一符号とし、説明は省略する。
 図10、図11に示す如く、本実施例のドライブローラ41は、回転軸41aにリブ状に円板プレート47の中心を間隔をあけて取り付けた構造である。この円板プレート47間には切替ブレード6の先端が交互に入り込むようになっている。さらに、円板プレート47の直径は、上記実施例2のガイド面43と同じになるように形成され、搬送される紙幣をガイドするようになっている。
 また、回転軸41aには、外周に上記実施例1と同様の摩擦部材42を取り付けた円板プレート47が、紙幣の搬送方向の直交方向の長さより狭い間隔で配置されている。そして、その摩擦部材42の外周面の直径は、上記実施例2の摩擦部材42の外周面の直径と同じになるように形成され、この摩擦部材42に対向してプレッシャローラ22(図11参照)が配置されている。
 なお、この摩擦部材42を取り付けた円板プレート47は、その全体を摩擦部材42で構成しても同様である。また、図面では摩擦部材42を取り付けた円板プレート47の幅を他の円板プレート47の幅より大きくしてあるが、同寸法であってもよい。
 図11に示す如く、本実施例の切替タイミングセンサ5は、円板プレート47間に配置され、かつ、図12に示す如く、ドライブローラ41の外側にセンサ素子5a、5bを対向させて配置している。そして、センサ素子5a、5bの光軸が円板プレート47間を通るようにしてある。
 センサ素子5aをドライブローラ41の内部に配置すると、これを取り付けるブラケットの形状が複雑になったり、強度的に弱い形状になったりする。しかし、本実施例のようにドライブローラ41の外側に実装すれば、簡単な取り付け方法でかつ強度的にも強い形状で切替タイミングセンサ5を取り付けることが可能になる。
 このような構成によると、リブ状に取り付けた円板プレート47によって構成されたドライブローラ41の摩擦部材42と、プレッシャローラ22との間に挟持されて搬送されてきた紙幣は、円板プレート47間に入り込んだ切替ブレード6によって搬送方向を切り替えることができ、滑らかな方向切替が可能となる。
 以上の構成によると、上記実施例1と同様の効果が得られる。さらに、ドライブローラを複数の円板プレートで構成し、その間に先端を入り込ませた切替ブレードを配置する。これにより、切替ブレードによる方向切替が滑らかに行えると共に、紙幣が接触する接触面積が少なくなり、摩擦による静電気の発生がおさえられる。
 さらに、摩擦による静電気の発生がおさえられることで、回路へのノイズを軽減させると共に、紙幣の張り付きを防止することができる。
 また、切替タイミングセンサを、円板プレート間に光軸を通してドライブローラの外側に配置する。これにより、構成が単純で取り付けが容易となると共に強度的にも強い取り付け構造とすることができる。
 上記実施例4で説明したリブ状の円板プレート47によって構成されたドライブローラ41を用いた実施例である。
 図13は本実施例の残留検出センサの設置状態を示す説明図であり、実施例4の図12と同様の部位は同一符号とし、説明は省略する。
 図において、49は、上記実施例4のプレッシャローラ22の鑑別部3側に曲率中心Oにおける挟み角θで配置された新たなプレッシャローラである。プレッシャローラ49の構成は、プレッシャローラ22と同様である。
 上記実施例4の切替タイミングセンサ5と同様に、残留検出センサ50は、ドライブローラ41の外側にセンサ素子50a、50bを対向配置した光学式のセンサである。さらに、残留検出センサ50は、プレッシャローラ49と隣のプレッシャローラ22の間と、分岐部46の直近のプレッシャローラ22とその分岐部46とは反対側のプレッシャローラ22の間を光軸が通るように配置されている。
 また、残留検出センサ50の光軸は、上記実施例4の切替タイミングセンサ5と同様に、リブ状の円板プレート47の間を通るように配置されている。
 このような構成によると、図13に示す如く、ドライブローラ41の搬送区間中のジャム紙幣等の残留を監視したい場合に、残留検出センサ50で1度に2区間を監視することができ、紙幣がどちらかの区間に残留している場合に、その検出をすることが可能となる。
 その他の区間を監視したい場合でも、2つの搬送区間を同時に一対のセンサ素子で監視することができるように複数のセンサを設けることにより、残留区間を検出することが可能になる。
 以上の構成によると、上記実施例1と同様の効果が得られる。さらに、残留検出センサを、円板プレート間に光軸を通してドライブローラの外側に配置することにより、複数の搬送区間を一つのセンサで監視することができる。また、複数の搬送区間を一つのセンサで監視することとで、簡素かつ安価な構成で、効率よく紙幣の残留を検出することができる。

Claims (11)

  1.  紙幣の入出金口を有する接客部と、紙幣に関する鑑別を行う鑑別部と、紙幣を保留する一時保留部と、前記鑑別部で鑑別された紙幣の搬送方向を切り替える切替ブレードと、前記切替ブレードの切替タイミングを検出する切替タイミングセンサと、紙幣を収納する金種カセットと、前記各部の間を連結する搬送路と、を備え、
     かつ、
     前記鑑別部から接客部に繋がる搬送路に、円弧状に形成した円弧状搬送路を設けた媒体処理装置。
  2.  請求項1に記載の媒体処理装置において、
     前記円弧状搬送路の途中に前記切替ブレードを有する分岐部を設け、前記切替ブレードによって紙幣の搬送方向を前記一時保留部の方向へ切替える媒体処理装置。
  3.  請求項1もしくは請求項2に記載の媒体処理装置において、
     前記一時保留部に、出金リジェクト紙幣を保留する媒体処理装置。
  4.  請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の媒体処理装置において、
     前記円弧状搬送路を、複数のフィードローラと、前記フィードローラの外周面を押圧するプレッシャローラによって形成した媒体処理装置。
  5.  請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の媒体処理装置において、
     前記円弧状搬送路を、その円弧の曲率中心に回転軸を有する円筒状のドライブローラと、前記ドライブローラの外周面を押圧する複数のプレッシャローラとで形成した媒体処理装置。
  6.  請求項5に記載の媒体処理装置において、
     前記ドライブローラの前記プレッシャローラが押圧する外周面に摩擦部材を設け、前記摩擦部材以外の箇所の径を小さくした媒体処理装置。
  7.  請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の媒体処理装置において、
     前記円弧状搬送路を、その円弧の曲率中心に設けた回転軸に複数の円板プレートを間隔をあけて配置したドライブローラと、前記ドライブローラの前記円板プレートの外周面を押圧する複数のプレッシャローラとで形成した媒体処理装置。
  8.  請求項4ないし請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の媒体処理装置において、
     前記プレッシャローラを、前記外周面上に約60°の間隔で配置した媒体処理装置。
  9.  請求項4ないし請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の媒体処理装置において、
     前記円弧状搬送路の前記分岐部に設けた切替ブレードによって切り替えられた後の搬送路にローラ対を設け、
     前記ローラ対を、前記分岐部の、前記ドライブローラによる紙幣の搬送方向の前後に設けたプレッシャローラによる押圧部のそれぞれの接線に対して約120°の方向に配置した媒体処理装置。
  10.  請求項7に記載の媒体処理装置おいて、
     前記切替タイミングセンサのセンサ素子を、前記ドライブローラの外側に配置すると共に、前記切替タイミングセンサの光軸を、前記円板プレート間に通すようにした媒体処理装置。
  11.  請求項7もしくは請求項10に記載の媒体処理装置おいて、
     前記円弧状搬送路に残留する紙幣を検出する残留検出センサを設け、
     前記残留検出センサのセンサ素子を、前記ドライブローラの外側に配置すると共に、前記残留検出センサの光軸を、前記円板プレート間に通すようにした媒体処理装置。
