Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Produktionsstamm zur Herstellung von 2,3-Butandiol. Dieser ist herstellbar aus einem Ausgangsstamm ausgewählt ist aus der Gattung Klebsiella, Raoultella, Paenibacillus und Bacillus und weist eine mindestens 3,6 bis 34,8 fach über dem Ausgangsstamm liegende Acetoinreduktase Aktivität auf. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner die Herstellung von 2,3-Butandiol mittels dieses Produktionsstammes.
