Abstract
エンジン20の燃焼室10に電磁波を放射して電磁波プラズマを生成することにより混合気を着火させるプラズマ装置30において、混合気を希薄燃焼させる場合のエンジン20の燃費を向上させる。燃焼室10において混合気を着火させた後の火炎伝播中に、燃焼室10に電磁波を放射して、電磁波と伝播火炎中の電子を共鳴させる。この電磁波と伝播火炎中の電子とを共鳴させることにより火炎伝播速度を増大させる。
