Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Kathodenanordnung für eine Aluminium-Elektrolysezelle mit wenigstens einem Kathodenblock auf Basis von Kohlenstoff und/oder Graphit, der wenigstens eine zumindest bereichsweise mit einer Graphitfolie ausgekleidete Nut aufweist, wobei in der wenigstens einen Nut wenigstens eine Stromschiene vorgesehen ist, welche zumindest bereichsweise eine Umhüllung aus Gusseisen aufweist, wobei in der die wenigstens eine Nut begrenzenden Wand des Kathodenblocks wenigstens eine Vertiefung vorgesehen ist und die Umhüllung aus Gusseisen zumindest abschnittsweise in die wenigstens eine Vertiefung eingreift. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner einen Kathodenblock für eine solche Kathodenanordnung und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer solchen Kathodenanordnung für eine Aluminium-Elektrolysezelle.
