  • the drum (100) usually has a cylindrical format in its upper portion open in order to allow the placement and withdrawal of the laundry to and from the inside, and a closed inner portion (102), in order to keep the laundry contained in the inside.
  • the drum may also present a plurality of holes or orifices (101) to allow the circulation of water and cleaning agent of the fabrics on the inside, both for filling and draining that occur during the washing cycles.
  • the agitator (200) Generally mounted in the center of the drum and coinciding with the centerline of the drive motor (not revealed) is the agitator (200), which also generally presents a substantially cylindrical hollow format and that may present one or more hydrodynamic profiles (201) to promote agitation of the water and the laundry inside the drum (100).   • the invention refers to machine of the wash and dry kind in which the agitator (200) comprises one or more means (205) designed to receive and fasten fins (300) which project orthogonally in relation to said agitator, as can also be better noted in figures 2 to 6.
  • the invention allows that before beginning the dry cycle said fins (300) be positioned and fastened to the agitator, such that the laundry may be hang out over one or more fins. Accordingly, the hung out laundry allows, on the one hand, that the air for drying flows with greater ease between the fabrics and, on the other hand, prevents the laundry from creasing or wrinkling during the dry cycle, facilitating the following step of ironing or, depending on the fabric, allowing total elimination of the need to iron the fabric and give it a smooth appearance.
  • the means for incasing and fastening the fins provided on the agitator are openings comprising a suitable geometry for receiving, incasing, fastening and supporting the fins.
  • the fins present in one of their planes a hook shape, which is introduced inside the openings provided in the agitator and incased in the subsequent wall thereof. It is thus possible to allow a quick and efficient incasement of one or more fins, whilst at the same time providing suitable support and anchoring in the agitator.
  • the user may decide on the quantity and disposition of the fins arranged in the agitator for better accommodation of the laundry, depending on the type of fabric, quantity and size of the laundry washed.
  • the means of fixing the fins in the agitator has a removable characteristic, that is, the possibility or withdrawing or putting back the fins as per the user's need or wish.
  • the number or disposition of the fastening means (205) provided on the agitator (200) may vary, depending on size, capacity of the washing machine, as well as the characteristics of size and resistance of the agitator itself (200).
  • there are provided 12 means for fastening the fins being two overlapping rows each comprising 6 orifices spaced apart in a regular and symmetrical manner.
  • a greater or lesser number of fastening means for the fins can be provided, as well as a nonsymmetrical disposition or, further, it is possible to provide one, two or more overlapping rows for placement of the fins on top of each other.
  • the fins are not removable from the agitator, but are solidary thereto. In this sense, it is possible to provide fins which project from the agitator or drum, but which cannot be removed or withdrawn therefrom, and are fastened thereto.
  • the fins can be hung out from the lower portion of the agitator or of the drum, like hangers which project from the bottom of the agitator or drum and have a transversal support for hanging out the laundry.
  • the fins can be incased and fastened to the circular opening located in the upper part of the drum.

Abstract

L'invention concerne, de manière générale, les machines a laver le linge et, plus particulièrement, les machines du type lavantes et séchantes à chargement par le haut auxquelles est associée une ailette de séchage. L'invention concerne aussi les ailettes de séchage appliquées auxdites machines et utilisées dans le cycle de séchage du linge. Selon un mode de réalisation, une ailette de séchage (300) pour une machine à laver et sécher à chargement par le haut comprend un premier plan (301) et un second plan (302) perpendiculaire audit premier plan, ledit premier ou second plan comprenant aussi un moyen (303) en vue de la fixation à un agitateur (200) ou dans un tambour (100) de ladite machine.
