Abstract

본 발명은 meso-2,3-부탄다이올 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는, 다음의 뉴클레오티드 서열로 구성된 군으로부터 선택되는 최소 1종의 뉴클레오티드 서열을 포함하는 발현벡터로 형질전환된(cotransformed) meso-2,3-부탄다이올 과발현용 대장균를 제공한다: (a) 서열목록 제5서열에 기재된 아미노산 서열을 가지는 아세토인 환원효소(acetoin reductase)을 코딩하는 뉴클레오티드; (b) 아세토락테이트 디카복실레이즈(acetolactate decarboxylase)를 코딩하는 뉴클레오티드; 및 (c) 알코올 디하이드로지네이즈(alcohol dehydrogenase)를 코딩하는 뉴클레오티드. 본 발명의 형질전환 대장균은 야생종에서는 생산하지 못하는 2,3-부탄다이올을 생산할 수 있다. 따라서 당으로부터 meso-2,3-부탄다이올 생합성 경로 발현과 다른 종의 유전자 삽입에 의한 대사 흐름 변경을 통해 대량의 meso-2,3-부탄다이올 생합성이 가능하다.
