Sistema de carga eléctrica para acumuladores de energía de vehículos ferroviarios, constituido por unos medios de localización (Al, A2, A3, A4 ) de un vehículo (1), al menos un elemento (2) captador de energía eléctrica, unos medios de identificación y posicionamiento (R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6) del vehículo (1) y, al menos, una zona (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4) de carga eléctrica, de modo que mediante una asociación de los medios de identificación y posicionamiento (R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6) con unos respectivos medios de localización (Al, A2, A3, A4 ), se determina la presencia y configuración del vehículo (1) y se define un área cubierta por el propio vehículo (1) que se corresponde con las zonas (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4) de carga eléctrica a electrificar.
