Abstract

L'invention concerne la récupération de l'éthanol à partir d'un produit éthanol brut obtenu par l'hydrogénation d'acide acétique à l'aide d'une colonne de distillation extractive. Un courant d'acide dilué, comprenant moins de 30 % en poids d'acide acétique, est utilisé comme agent d'extraction et est introduit à un point situé au-dessus du courant d'alimentation brut. La colonne fournit un résidu qui comprend de l'éthanol, de l'acide acétique et de l'eau. Le courant d'acide dilué peut être séparé du résidu et ramené à la colonne de distillation extractive.
