Abstract

Es wird eine Anlage zum Beschichten von Gegenständen (4) beschrieben, die in bekannter Weise eine Beschichtungskabine (1), ein Fördersystem (5), welches die zu beschichtenden Gegenstände (4) durch die Beschichtungskabine (2) führt, sowie mindestens eine Applikationseinheit (8, 9) aufweist, die von einem Handhabungsgerät (6, 7) getragen und geführt wird. Eine zentrale Versorgungseinheit (14) umfasst einen Tank (14b) zur Bevorratung von CO2 in flüssiger oder fester Form sowie Fördermittel, welche in der Lage sind, CO2 aus dem Tank (14b) zu entnehmen und mit geeignetem Druck einer Sammelleitung (13) zuzuführen. Diese Sammelleitung (13) ist mit mindestens einem Reinigungsgerät (10, 11) verbunden, das seinerseits mindestens eine Düse zur Abgabe von CO2 in zu Reinigungszwecken geeigneter Form aufweist. Programmgesteuert wird eine Relativbewegung zwischen der Düse und der Applikationseinheit (8, 9) herbeigeführt, derart, dass alle zu reinigenden Flächen der Applikationseinheit (8, 9) von CO2 erreicht werden können. Auf diese Weise ist eine vollständige Automatisierung der Reinigung der äußeren Flächen der Applikationseinheit (8, 9) sowie gegebenenfalls benachbarter Bereiche des Handhabungsgeräts (6, 7) möglich.
