본 발명은 다양한 변경을 가할 수 있고 여러 가지 실시예를 가질 수 있는 바, 특정 실시예들을 도면에 예시하고 이를 상세한 설명을 통해 상세히 설명하고자 한다. 그러나, 이는 본 발명을 특정한 실시 형태에 대해 한정하려는 것이 아니며, 본 발명의 사상 및 기술 범위에 포함되는 모든 변경, 균등물 내지 대체물을 포함하는 것으로 이해되어야 한다.
본 발명을 설명함에 있어서, 관련된 공지 기술에 대한 구체적인 설명이 본 발명의 요지를 불필요하게 흐릴 수 있다고 판단되는 경우 그 상세한 설명을 생략한다. 또한, 본 명세서의 설명 과정에서 이용되는 숫자(예를 들어, 제1, 제2 등)는 하나의 구성요소를 다른 구성요소와 구분하기 위한 식별기호에 불과하다.
또한, 본 명세서에서, 일 구성요소가 다른 구성요소와 "연결된다" 거나 "접속된다" 등으로 언급된 때에는, 상기 일 구성요소가 상기 다른 구성요소와 직접 연결되거나 또는 직접 접속될 수도 있지만, 특별히 반대되는 기재가 존재하지 않는 이상, 중간에 또 다른 구성요소를 매개하여 연결되거나 또는 접속될 수도 있다고 이해되어야 할 것이다.
또한, 본 명세서에 기재된 "~부", "~기", "~자", "~모듈" 등의 용어는 적어도 하나의 기능이나 동작을 처리하는 단위를 의미하며, 이는 하드웨어나 소프트웨어 또는 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 결합으로 구현될 수 있다.
그리고 본 명세서에서의 구성부들에 대한 구분은 각 구성부가 담당하는 주기능별로 구분한 것에 불과함을 명확히 하고자 한다. 즉, 이하에서 설명할 2개 이상의 구성부가 하나의 구성부로 합쳐지거나 또는 하나의 구성부가 보다 세분화된 기능별로 2개 이상으로 분화되어 구비될 수도 있다. 그리고 이하에서 설명할 구성부 각각은 자신이 담당하는 주기능 이외에도 다른 구성부가 담당하는 기능 중 일부 또는 전부의 기능을 추가적으로 수행할 수도 있으며, 구성부 각각이 담당하는 주기능 중 일부 기능이 다른 구성부에 의해 전담되어 수행될 수도 있음은 물론이다.
이하, 본 발명의 실시예들을 차례차례로 상세히 설명한다.
[신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치]
본 발명의 제1 측면에 따르면, 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 제1 측면에 따른 재활 운동 장치는, 뇌졸중 등의 신경장애 환자의 손에 착용하는 장갑의 형태로 손 운동을 보조하는 튜브를 설치하여 스스로 손을 움직이기 힘든 신경장애 환자의 손 움직임을 감지하고 지속적인 재활 운동을 돕는다.
이하, 첨부된 도면 중 도 1 내지 도 4를 참조하여 본 발명의 제1 측면에 따른 재활 운동 장치를 설명한다.
본 명세서에서는, 재활 환자가 손가락 운동을 통한 재활 운동(훈련)에 이용하는 경우를 중심으로 설명하지만, 본 발명에 따른 재활 운동 장치는, 재활 목적 이외에도, 손가락의 근력을 키우거나 세밀한 손 동작의 연습이 요구되는 사람이 특정 목적을 위해 사용할 수도 있음은 물론이다. 일 예로, 손가락의 근력을 증대시켜야 할 특정 목적을 가진 자(예를 들어, 씨름 선수, 체조 선수 등과 같이 손의 악력을 크게 증대시킬 필요가 있는 자)에게도 본 발명의 손가락 재활 운동 장치는 유용하게 쓰일 수 있을 것임을 먼저 명확히 해둔다.
도 1은 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치를 전반적으로 설명하기 위한 도면이다. 도 1을 참조하면 본 발명에 따른 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치(100)는, 장갑체(10), 운동 보조 튜브(60), 컴프레서(70), 감지부(20, 30, 80) 및 제어부(40)를 포함하여 구성된다.
장갑체(10)는 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 손에 착용하는 통상의 장갑 형태를 가진다. 장갑체(10)는 그 재질이 제한되지 않으나 손의 움직임이 자유롭지 못한 신경장애 환자가 주된 사용자 임을 감안하면 손가락과 손의 움직임에 저항이 적은 부드러운 재질로 제작되는 것이 바람직하다. 장갑체(10)에는 손의 움직임을 감지하는 각종 센서와 제어부(40), 컴프레서(70) 등의 다른 구성요소가 설치되어 이들을 고정하는 역할을 한다.
장갑체(10)의 형상은 통상의 장갑과 같이 편안하게 다섯 손가락이 구분되어 삽입되는 형태가 바람직하다.
장갑체(10)의 각 손가락부에는 손가락의 길이 방향으로 운동 보조 튜브(60)가 설치된다. 운동 보조 튜브(60)는 공기가 주입되는 곳으로 공기가 새지 않도록 비닐 등의 유연한 합성수지재로 제작되는 것이 바람직하다. 신경장애 환자의 경우 손가락이 오므라져 있는 상태에서 손가락을 펴는 운동에 장애가 생기는 경우가 많으므로, 운동 보조 튜브(60)는 스스로 손가락을 완전히 펼치지 못하는 신경장애 환자의 손가락 운동을 보조하는 역할을 한다. 운동 보조 튜브(60)에 공기가 일정 이상의 압력으로 주입되면 운동 보조 튜브(60)는 공기압에 의해 막대 모양으로 펼쳐지도록 힘을 받게 되므로 사용자의 손가락이 펴지도록 보조하게 된다. 주입된 공기가 빠져나가면 다시 손가락이 오므라들게 되므로 손가락을 펼쳤다 오므리는 운동이 반복될 수 있게 된다.
운동 보조 튜브(60)는 손가락의 바닥, 등, 측면 중 어느 곳에나 설치될 수 있다. 손가락은 바닥쪽으로 구부러지게 되므로 손가락의 움직임을 제약하지 않으면서 손가락의 운동을 보조하기 위해서는 손가락의 등 부위에 설치되는 것이 가장 바람직하다.
운동 보조 튜브(60)는 손가락의 길이 방향으로 설치되는데, 튜브의 단면은 원형, 타원형 등 다양한 형태가 될 수 있다. 운동 보조 튜브(60)에 공기가 주입된 경우에 손가락의 펴는 운동을 잘 보조하기 위해서는 굽힘 응력에 대한 저항이 커야 하므로 굽힘응력에 대한 응력이 큰 아이(I)빔의 형태가 가장 바람직하다. 도 2와 도 3은 각각 운동 보조 튜브(60)의 단면을 나타낸 것인데 도 2는 단면이 타원형인 경우이며, 도 3은 단면이 아이(I) 빔의 형태인 경우이다. 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이 단면이 아이 빔의 형태인 경우에 내부 공기압에도 단면 형상을 I 자로 유지하기 위해서는 상부(61), 중간부(62), 하부(63)가 각각 구별되되 공기가 통과하여 동일한 압력을 가지도록 통공(64)이 형성되는 것이 바람직하다.
운동 보조 튜브(60)에 공기를 주입하기 위하여 컴프레서(70)가 구비된다. 컴프레서는 공기를 압축하여 운동 보조 튜브(60)에 공기를 주입하는 장치로 실린더형과 로터리형 등이 있다. 어떤 형태의 압축방식인지는 제한되지 않는다. 다만 손가락을 펼치기 위해 운동 보조 튜브(60)에 주입되는 공기의 압력이 크게 요구되지는 않으므로 소형 모터에 의해서 구동되는 작고 가벼운 소형 컴프레서인 것이 바람직하다.
컴프레서(70)와 운동 보조 튜브(60)의 사이에는 공급되는 공기의 역류를 방지하도록 작동되는 체크밸브(check valve, 75))가 설치되는 것이 바람직하다. 컴프레서(70)에서 운동 보조 튜브(60)로 공기가 이동하는 경우에는 밸브(75)가 개방되고 반대로 공기가 이동하려 할때에는 밸브(75)가 닫혀 공기가 빠져나가지 못하도록 유지된다. 제어부(40)의 신호에 따라 밸브(75)가 개방되면 공기가 외부로 배출된다. 본 발명에서는 전기적 신호에 따라 밸브가 개폐되는 솔레노이드형 체크밸브가 사용되는 것이 바람직하다.
재활 운동을 하는 신경장애 환자의 손과 손가락의 운동을 감지하기 위하여 감지부(20, 30, 80)가 구비된다. 감지부(20, 30, 80)는 구체적으로 손가락의 굽혀진 정도를 측정하는 손가락 굽힘 감지부(20)와 손의 위치와 손의 움직임을 측정하는 손 운동 감지부(30) 및 사용자의 근전도를 측정하는 근전도 측정부(80)를 포함할 수 있다.
먼저 손가락의 굽혀진 정도를 측정하기 위하여 손가락 굽힘 감지부(20)가 구비된다. 손가락의 굽혀진 정도를 측정하는 방법은 다양할 것이나 가장 쉽게 구부러진 정도를 측정할 수 있도록 플렉스 센서(Flex Sensor)를 채택하는 것이 가장 바람직하다. 플렉스 센서는 구부러진 정도에 따라 저항값이 달라져 측정된 저항값에 따라 구부러진 정도를 감지하는 센서이다. 플렉스 센서는 각 손가락 마다 개별적으로 설치된다. 즉, 5개의 센서가 부착된다. 부착된 센서는 각 손가락의 움직임을 독립적으로 감지하게 된다. 플렉스 센서는 도 2 내지 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이 운동 보조 튜브(60)와 장갑체(10)의 사이에 장착되는 것이 가장 바람직하며, 플렉스 센서와 운동 보조 튜브(60)는 외피(15)에 의해 장갑체(10)와 분리되지 않도록 고정된다.
손의 운동을 감지하기 위하여 손 운동 감지부(30)가 구비된다. 손 운동 감지부(30)는 장갑체(10)의 손등 또는 손바닥 부분 어느 곳에나 설치될 수 있다. 다만 손의 자유로운 운동을 보장하기 위해서는 손등 부위에 부착되는 것이 가장 바람직하다. 손 운동을 감지하는 센서는 다양한 종류가 채택될 수 있으나, 본 발명에서는 가속도 센서, 자이로 센서, 관성측정유닛(IMU : Inetial Measurement Unit) 중 적어도 어느 하나를 포함하는 것이 바람직하다. 가속도 센서, 자이로 센서 및 가속도 센서와 자이로 센서의 혼합형태인 관성측정유닛 중 어느 하나 또는 이들의 조합을 손 운동 감지부(30)로 채택할 수 있다. 상기의 센서들을 이용하면 손의 상/하/좌/우/전/후 방향의 움직임과 손의 회전된 정도 등 손 운동에 관한 정보를 얻을 수 있게 된다.
사용자의 운동 의지를 파악하기 위해서는 근전도 센서가 사용될 수 있다. 근전도 센서는 골격근의 수축시에 발생하는 근 활동전류를 증폭하여 감지하는 센서를 말한다. 뇌졸중 등의 신경장애 환자의 경우 자유롭게 손을 움직일 수는 없으나 손가락을 움직이려 할 때 미세한 근 활동전류의 변화는 측정할 수 있다. 근전도 센서에 의해 환자의 운동 의지가 감지되면 운동 보조 튜브(60)에 공기가 주입되어 손가락을 펼칠 수 있도록 보조하게 된다.
감지부에서 감지된 신호는 제어부(40)로 전달된다. 즉, 제어부(40)는 근전도 측정부(80), 손가락 굽힘 감지부(20), 손 운동 감지부(30)로부터 감지된 신호를 토대로 콤프레서(70)의 구동상태를 제어하게 된다. 또한, 제어부(40)는 각 감지부에서 감지된 신호를 통신 모듈(50)을 통해 원격으로 연동되는 모바일 단말(200)로 전송한다. 전송된 신호는 모바일 단말(200)에 데이터로 기록되거나 모바일 단말(200)에 구동중인 프로그램을 조작하는 신호로 활용할 수 있다.
도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 재활 운동 장치(100)는 모바일 단말(200)과 데이터를 주고 받을 수 있으며, 모바일 단말(200)은 관리서버(300)와 데이터를 주고 받을 수 있다. 재활 환자가 본 발명에 따른 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치를 사용하게 되면, 모바일 단말(200)을 통해 관리서버에 재활 운동 기록이 저장될 수 있다.
본 발명의 제1 측면에 따른 재활 운동 장치의 작동원리를 살핀다. 본 발명에 따른 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치를 착용한 재활 환자가 손가락을 펴려고 하면 근전도 센서에 의해 환자의 운동 의지가 근 활동전류의 측정에 의해 감지되고, 감지된 신호는 제어부(40)에 전달된다. 제어부(40)는 컴프레서(70)를 구동시켜 운동 보조 튜브(60)로 공기를 주입한다. 운동 보조 튜브(60)에 공기가 주입되어 일정 압력 이상이 되면 운동 보조 튜브(60)는 손가락이 펴지도록 보조한다. 압력측정부(90)에 의해 측정된 운동 보조 튜브(60) 내부의 압력이 일정 이상으로 감지되거나 되거나 플렉스 센서에 의해 손가락이 일정이상 펴진 것이 감지되면 감지 신호를 받은 제어부(40)에 의해 컴프레서(70)의 구동이 정지된다. 컴프레서의 구동이 정지되어도 체크밸브(75)에 의해 폐쇄되어 운동 보조 튜브(60) 내의 압력이 유지된다. 재활 환자가 손가락을 구부리려 하면 근전도 센서를 통해 제어부(40)가 감지하여 체크밸브를 개방하고 운동 보조 튜브(60) 내의 공기가 배출되어 손가락이 오므라지게 된다.
상기와 같은 운동의 반복으로 손가락을 쥐고 펴는 재활 운동을 반복적으로 수행하게 된다. 또한, 관리서버(300)에 저장된 각 환자별 맞춤 프로그램에 의해 재활 운동이 수행되도록 할 수도 있다. 또한, 후술할 도 9에 도시된 바와 유사하게 모바일 단말(200) 상에 구동되는 재활 운동 프로그램(예컨대 증강현실을 이용한 프로그램)을 통해 재활 환자에게 동기를 부여 할 수 있다.
[손가락 재활 운동 장치에서의 능동 보조 제어 방법 및 장치]
본 발명의 제2 측면에 따르면, 손가락 재활 운동/훈련과 관련된 손가락 재활 운동 장치에서의 능동 보조 제어 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 제2 측면에 따른 손가락 재활 운동 장치에서의 능동 보조 제어 방법 및 장치는, 뇌졸중 재활환자의 손가락에 보조 힘을 제공하는 구동기의 힘을 제어하는 방법론으로서, 뇌졸중 재활을 효과적으로 유도하는 방법에 대한 지식, 즉 재활이론과 뇌 과학 분야의 이론이 제어 방법론에 반영되었다. 이하, 첨부된 도면 중 도 5를 참조하여 본 발명의 제2 측면에 따른 손가락 재활 운동 장치에서의 능동 보조 제어 방법 및 장치를 설명한다.

도 5는 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 방법 및 장치를 설명하기 블록 구성도이다. 이하, 도 5를 참조하여, 각 구성부의 기능에 대해 설명한다.
도 5에 도시된 능동 보조 제어 장치는 손가락 재활 운동 장치에 탑재되어, 손가락 재활 운동 장치를 이용하여 재활 운동을 하는 사용자의 재활 동작을 보조할 수 있다. 이 경우, 도 5에 도시된 손가락 각도 측정부(520) 또는/및 근전도 측정부(530)는 본 발명의 능동 보조 제어 장치 자체에 기능 탑재되어 있지 않더라도, 도 1의 재활 운동 장치(100)에 포함된 동일/유사 기능의 구성에 의해 대체될 수도 있다. 즉, 도 5에서 손가락 각도 측정부(520) 및 근전도 측정부(530)는 본 발명의 능동 보조 제어 장치에 반드시 포함되어야만 하는 구성은 아니며, 도 5는, 사용자가 사용하는 손가락 재활 운동 장치에 도 1에서와 같이 손가락 각도 측정 또는/및 근전도 측정이 가능한 구성요소가 포함되어 있지 않은 경우를 가정한 블록도이다. 따라서, 손가락 각도 측정부(520) 및 근전도 측정부(530)의 구체적 구현례는 앞서 도 1을 통해 설명한 동일/유사 구성의 경우와 동일 또는 유사할 수 있는 바, 여기에서는 그 중복되는 설명은 생략하기로 한다.
또한 본 발명에 따른 능동 보조 제어 장치(또는 본 장치에 의해 실행되는 구체적 기능들 또는 방법)는 실시예에 따라, 손가락 재활 운동 장치에 직접 탑재되지 않고, 손가락 재활 운동 장치와 통신하는 사용자의 통신 단말(도 1의 모바일 단말(200) 참조)에 탑재되거나 또는 상기 통신 단말과 통신하는 외부의 서버(도 1의 관리 서버(300) 참조)에 탑재 구현될 수도 있음은 물론이다.
선행 정보부(510)는 사람이 손가락을 펴는 동작을 수행하는데 필요한 최소힘의 평균값에 대한 정보를 저장한다. 이때, 저장되는 최소힘의 평균값은, 뇌졸중 환자가 아닌 일반인이 손가락을 펴는 동작에 필요한 최소힘의 평균값에 대한 정보일 수 있다. 미리 다수의 사람들이 손을 펴는 동작을 하도록 하여 그때의 힘을 측정하고 이의 평균치를 저장해둔 것일 수 있다.
또한 이때, 선행 정보부(510)에 저장되는 최소힘의 평균값은, 손가락을 완전히 오므린 상태에서 완전히 펼 때까지 필요한 일반인들의 최소힘의 평균값일 수도 있고, 손가락이 구부러진 각도(또는 반대로 펴진 각도) 별로 특정 각도(이 또한 손가락을 완전히 편 상태의 각도일 수도 있지만, 특정 재활 동작에 따른 손가락 자세에 대응되는 손가락 각도일 수도 있음)까지 손가락을 펴는데 필요한 최소힘의 평균값들을 각각 저장해둔 것일 수도 있다.
그리고 손가락 각도 측정부(520)는, 손가락 관절마디의 각도를 측정하는 센서 (예, Flexpoint센서)를 각 손가락별 하나 혹은 모든 마디에 부착하여 손가락 각도를 측정하여 최소힘 계산부로 그 값을 전달할 수 있다. 또한 근전도 측정부(530)는, 손가락을 펴는 동작(신전, extension)에 관련된 근육의 근전도를 근전도 센서로 측정하여 최소힘 계산부로 그 값을 전달할 수 있다.
도 5의 경우 손가락 각도 측정을 위한 구성과 근전도 측정을 위한 구성을 모두 포함하는 것으로 도시되어 있지만, 최소힘 계산의 경우 이 중 어느 하나의 값(즉, 손가락 각도 또는 근전도 값)만을 이용하여도 계산 가능할 수 있는 바, 이 중 일부 구성만을 구비할 수도 있음은 물론이다. 또한, 손가락 각도 측정 또는 근전도 측정은 모두, 재활 운동 환자가 손가락을 펴는 동작을 수행하는데 필요한 최소힘을 예측해내는데 활용하는 것인 바, 그 최소힘 예측이 가능하다면 이외에도 다양한 기초 데이터 측정 구성이 이용될 수도 있다. 다만, 이하에서는 손가락 각도 측정 또는 근전도 측정의 경우를 중심으로 설명하기로 한다.
최소힘 계산부(540)는 선행 정보부(510)에 의해 저장된 정보와, 손가락 각도 측정부(520) 또는/및 근전도 측정부(530)에서 측정된 측정 값에 기초하여, 손가락 재활 운동 장치를 이용하여 재활 운동을 하는 사용자가 손가락을 펼 때 필요한 최소힘을 계산한다. 이때, 최소힘 계산은 다음과 같은 방법에 의할 수 있다.
일 예로, 최소힘 계산부(540)는, 손가락 각도 측정부(520)에 의해 측정된 사용자의 현재 손가락 각도로부터 특정 재활 동작의 손가락 자세를 취하는데 필요한 최소힘을, 선행 정보부(510)에 저장된 정보에 기초하여 계산할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 사용자가 도 1에 도시된 장갑 형태의 재활 운동 장치를 착용한 상태에서 특정 재활 동작에 따라 손가락을 펴는 동작을 취하고자 한다고 가정한다. 이 경우, 손가락 각도 측정부(520)는 사용자의 현재(즉, 그 특정 재활 동작을 취하기 전 상태) 손가락 각도를 측정할 수 있다. 이때 측정된 현재 손가락 각도는 최소힘 측정부(540)로 전달되며, 최소힘 측정부(540)는 현재 손가락 각도에서 특정 재활 동작에 따른 손가락 자세로 변화하는데 필요한 최소힘을 선행 정보부(510)에 저장된 데이터를 참조하여 계산할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 현재 상태의 손가락 각도에서 특정 재활 동작에 따른 손가락 자세로 변화하기 위해서 손가락 각도가 50도 이상 펴져야 한다면, 그 50도만큼 펴지는데 필요한 최소힘을 선행 정보부(510)에 저장된 데이터들을 참조하여 계산하는 방식을 이용할 수 있다.
다른 예로, 최소힘 계산부(540)는, 근전도 측정부(530)에 의해 측정된 사용자의 현재 근전도 값으로부터 상기 특정 재활 동작의 손가락 자세를 취하는데 필요한 최소힘을 구할 수 있으며, 이때에도 선행 정보부(510)에 저장된 정보를 참조할 수 있다. 또 다른 예로, 최소힘 계산은 앞서 설명한 두 가지 방식(손가락 각도 이용 방식와 근전도 값 이용 방식)을 함께 고려할 수도 있을 것이다.
상술한 바에 따라 최소힘이 계산되면, 그 계산된 최소힘을 고려하여 사용자에게 제공할 보조힘을 결정한다. 이때, 보조힘은 계산된 최소힘과 동일한 세기의 힘일 수도 있지만, 이하 후술할 바와 같이 그 계산된 최소힘에 임의성이 부가된 세기의 힘일 수도 있다. 이때 결정된 보조힘은 다음과 같은 방법에 의해 사용자의 재활 운동에 보조될 수 있다. 이를 도 1 내지 도 4의 재활 운동 장치의 경우를 참조하여 설명하면, 제어부(40)가 컴프레서(70)를 구동시켜 운동 보조 튜브(60)로 상기 보조힘 만큼의 팽창력을 부여함으로써, 뇌졸중 환자 등과 같이 신경 장애로 손가락을 본인의 의지대로 움직이기 어려운 경우에 이를 보조함이 바로 그 예이다.
이후, 오차 계산부(550)는 상기 보조힘이 제공되었을 때, 사용자의 손가락이 실제 펴진 각도와 특정 재활 동작의 손가락 자세에 따른 목표 각도의 차이로부터, 앞서 계산된 최소힘과 실제힘 간의 힘의 차이를 계산한다. 이러한 오차 계산은 사용자에 의한 이후의 재활 운동에 보다 적합한 보조힘을 결정해내기 위한 것이다. 즉, 최초 계산된 최소힘을 고려한 보조힘이 제공되었을 때, 어떤 경우는 너무 많은 보조힘이 제공된 결과로 사용자가 운동 효과를 보지 못하는 경우가 발생할 수 있고, 경우에 따라 그 반대 경우도 발생할 수 있다. 따라서, 오차 계산부(550)에 의해 계산된 적용된 최소힘과 실제힘 간의 힘의 차이에 따라, 너무 과도한 보조힘이 제공된 경우는 그 보조힘을 낮추고, 반대로 보조힘이 과소한 경우 보조힘을 증가시킬 필요가 있다. 이와 같이, 오차 계산부(550)에 의해 계산된 오차 결과는 사용자의 재활 운동의 효과를 높이기 위해 다음 번 재활 동작의 능동 보조 제어를 위한 기초 정보로서 활용된다.
위와 같이 오차 계산이 완료되면, 최소힘 계산부(540)는, 오차 계산부(550)에 의해 계산된 상기 최소힘과 상기 실제힘의 차이에 기초하여, 사용자가 특정 재활 동작의 재활 운동을 하는데 보조할 최소힘을 갱신한다.
이를 위해, 최소힘 계산부(540)는, 최소힘 계산 및 재활 운동 과정에서의 사용자의 재활운동결과 및 습득(재활학습)능력을 반영한 최소힘 갱신을 위해, 하기와 같은 수학적 모델로 구현될 수 있다. 여기서, 수학적 모델은 간단한 linear regression부터, Kalman filter를 이용한 Optimal estimation, Bayes확률이론을 활용한 Bayesian estimation등 다양한 방법이 있을 수 있다.
만약 다음과 같이 간단한 linear regression방법을 사용할 경우,

라는 수학적 모델을 가정하고,
y를 최소힘이라고 가정 하고,
x=(x1, x2)=(손가락 각도 측정부(520) 출력값, 근전도 측정부(530) 출력값) 하면,

라고 할 수 있다.
A=(a1, a2)를 계산해내면 x 즉, 손가락 각도 측정부(520) 출력값, 근전도 측정부(530) 출력값을 측정했을때 최소힘 y를 구할수 있다.
A의 초기값 A_(0)는 y의 초기값 y0를 보통사람이 손가락을 펴는 동작에 필요한 최소한의 힘 (이하 최소힘)의 평균값, 즉, 선행정보부(510)의 출력값이라고 가정하고(혹은 경험적으로 초기값을 설정할 수도 있다), 초기에 x에 대해서 두 개의 sample을 구해서 A의 초기값 A_(0)를 구한다.
그리고 나서는 A값은 오차최소힘의 제곱을 최소화하는 즉, E = (B*(목표손가락각도-실제손가락각도))^2 = (B*(목표손가락각도-x2))^2를 최소화하도록 한다.
E를 x에 대해서 편미분하여 상수만큼 곱하여 A에 더하여 A값을 갱신하면,
A_(n+1) =A_(n)+ (B*C1*2(목표손가락각도-x2), B*C2*2(목표손가락각도-x2)) = (a1_(n)+B*C1*2(목표손가락각도-x2), a2_(n) +B*C2*2(목표손가락각도-x2))로 나타내어진다.
여기서 B*C1, B*C2를 각각 D1, D2로 치환하면
A_(n+1)=(a1_(n)+D1*2(목표손가락각도-x2), a2_(n)+D2*2(목표손가락각도-x2))이고, 여기서 D1, D2는 임의의 값을 경험적으로 설정하는 상수로, 모델의 학습속도 (learning rate)에 상관관계가 있다. 예를 들어, 재활 운동을 하는 사용자의 재활 학습 속도가 재활 환자들의 평균 학습속도를 상회하는 경우, 운동 효과를 높이기 위해 그 운동 제어값(본 예의 경우에는 보조힘의 세기)을 조절(새롭게 갱신)할 필요가 있는데, 상기 D1 및 D2는 이러한 값 제어를 위한 상수에 해당한다.
이때, 오차 계산부(550)에 의해 계산되는 최소힘과 실제힘의 차이는, 목표각도와 실제 각도의 차이에 특정 상수값을 곱해서 계산할 수 있으며, 위의 예시의 경우 B*(목표손가락각도-실제손가락각도)로 나타낼 수 있다.
본 발명은, 일 실시예에 따라, 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이, 상기 계산된 최소힘에 임의성(randomness)을 제공하는 임의 잡음 신호 생성기(random noise signal generator, 560)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 이때, 사용자에게 제공되는 보조힘은, 최소힘 계산부(540)에서 계산된 최소힘에 임의 잡음 신호 생성기(560)에 의해 생성된 임의 잡음 신호가 반영된 것일 수 있다. 이때, 임의 잡음 신호 생성부(560)는, 난수 발생기에서 평균이 0이고 표준편차(std)를 경험적으로 너무 크지 않도록 하는 값을 정할 수 있다. 즉 n(0, std)로 나타낼 수 있다. 이러한 임의 잡음 신호 생성부(560)가 적용되면, 사용자가 동일한 재활 동작을 반복적으로 수행함에 있어서 그 운동 효과를 더욱 높일 수 있는 이점이 있다.
[모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치]
본 발명의 제3 측면에 따르면, 모바일과 연동한 데이터 입력장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 모바일과 연동하여 손 동작을 감지하여 데이터를 입력하는 장갑형 데이터 입력장치가 개시된다.
이하, 첨부된 도면 중 도 6 내지 도 8을 참조하여 본 발명의 제3 측면에 따른 모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치를 설명한다.
도 6은 모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치(100a)를 전반적으로 설명하기 위한 도면이다.
본 발명에 따른 모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치(100a)는, 손에 착용하도록 장갑 형태로 제작되는 장갑체(10a)와, 상기 장갑체(10a)에 설치되며 손가락의 움직임, 손의 자세변화, 손의 위치 변화 중 적어도 하나에 따른 손 동작 정보를 감지하는 감지부(20a, 30a)와, 상기 감지부(20a, 30a)에 의해 감지된 사용자의 손 동작 정보를 받아 무선 통신 모듈을 통해 원격에 위치한 모바일 단말(200a)에서 작동되는 프로그램을 조작하도록 하는 조작신호 또는 데이터 신호를 송출하는 제어부(40a)를 포함한다.
장갑체(10a)는 도 6에 도시된 바와 같이 손에 착용하는 통상의 장갑의 형태를 가진다. 장갑체(10a)는 그 재질이 제한되지 않으나 손의 움직임이 자유롭게 하기 위해서는 손가락과 손의 움직임에 저항이 적은 부드러운 재질로 제작되는 것이 바람직하다. 장갑체(10a)에는 손의 움직임을 감지하는 각종 센서와 제어부(40a) 등의 다른 구성요소가 설치되어 이들을 고정하는 역할을 한다. 장갑체(10a)의 형상은 통상의 장갑과 같이 편안하게 다섯 손가락이 구분되어 삽입되는 형태가 바람직하다.
본 발명의 일 실시예서 감지부(20a, 30a)는, 손가락의 구부러진 정도를 측정하는 손가락 굽힘 감지부(20a)와 손의 위치와 손의 움직임을 측정하는 손 운동 감지부(30a)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 할 수 있다.
먼저 손가락의 굽혀진 정도를 측정하기 위하여 손가락 굽힘 감지부(20a)가 구비된다. 손가락의 굽혀진 정도를 측정하는 방법은 다양할 것이나 가장 쉽게 구부러진 정도를 측정할 수 있도록 플렉스 센서(Flex Sensor)를 채택하는 것이 가장 바람직하다. 플렉스 센서는 각 손가락 마다 개별적으로 설치된다. 즉, 5개의 센서가 부착된다. 부착된 센서는 각 손가락의 움직임을 독립적으로 감지하게 된다. 플렉스 센서는 도 7 및 도 8에 도시된 바와 같이 장갑체 손가락의 등 부분에 장착되는 것이 가장 바람직하다.
손의 운동을 감지하기 위하여 손 운동 감지부(30a)가 구비된다. 손 운동 감지부(30a)는 장갑체(10a)의 손등 또는 손바닥 부분 어느 곳에나 설치될 수 있다. 다만 손의 자유로운 운동을 보장하기 위해서는 손등 부위에 부착되는 것이 가장 바람직하다. 손 운동을 감지하는 센서는 다양한 종류가 채택될 수 있으나, 본 발명에서는 가속도 센서, 자이로 센서, 관성측정유닛(IMU : Inetial Measurement Unit) 중 적어도 어느 하나를 포함하는 것이 바람직하다. 가속도 센서, 자이로 센서 및 가속도 센서와 자이로 센서의 혼합형태인 관성측정유닛 중 어느 하나 또는 이들의 조합을 손 운동 감지부(30a)로 채택할 수 있다. 상기의 센서들을 이용하면 손의 상/하/좌/우/전/후 방향의 움직임과 손의 회전된 정도 등 손 운동에 관한 정보를 얻을 수 있게 된다.
각 감지부에서 감지된 신호는 제어부(40a)로 전달되며 제어부(40a)는 통신 모듈(50a)을 통해 모바일 단말(200a)로 데이터 신호를 보낸다.
각 감지부(20a, 30a)의 신호는 각각 독립된 신호로 인식될 수도 있고, 두 개 이상의 감지신호의 조합에 의한 신호로도 인식될 수 있다. 예컨대 플렉스 센서에 의해 손가락 굽힘을 감지하는 경우에 엄지, 검지, 중지, 약지, 소지를 하나씩 따로 구부릴 때의 신호와 두 개의 손가락을 동시(또는 짧은 시간간격)에 구부리는 경우에 감지되는 신호를 구분되는 신호로 인지할 수 있다. 이렇게 하면 다양한 신호를 생성할 수 있어 키보드 등의 입력장치를 대체할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치(100a)에서 모바일단말(200a)로 전송되는 데이터 신호는 모바일 단말(200a)에서 구동되는 게임 등의 조작신호로도 사용될 수 있다. 예를 들어 키보드 상의 상(Up), 하(Down), 좌(Left), 우(Right) 입력키 등을 손가락 구부림에 의해 생성되는 데이터 신호로 대체할 수 있는 것이다.
본 발명의 제3 측면에 따른 모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치(100a)는 앞서 설명한 도 1 내지 도 4의 재활 운동 장치에서와 유사한 용도로서 뇌졸중 등의 신경장애 환자의 재활 운동에도 응용될 수 있다. 또한 앞서 설명한 바와 마찬가지로 본 발명의 제3 측면에 따른 장갑형 데이터 입력장치(100a)는 모바일 단말(200a) 상에 표출된 증강현실 화면에서 손 모양의 가상객체와 재활도구 가상객체를 조작하는 등의 재활 운동에도 사용될 수 있다.
이상에서는 본 발명의 실시예를 참조하여 설명하였지만, 해당 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 하기의 특허 청구의 범위에 기재된 본 발명의 사상 및 영역으로부터 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 본 발명을 다양하게 수정 및 변경시킬 수 있음을 쉽게 이해할 수 있을 것이다.

Claims (23)

  1. 손에 착용하도록 장갑 형태로 제작되는 장갑체와,
    상기 장갑체의 각 손가락부에 손가락의 길이 방향으로 형성되는 운동 보조 튜브와,
    상기 운동 보조 튜브에 공기를 주입하는 컴프레서와,
    상기 장갑체에 설치되며 손가락의 움직임, 손의 자세변화, 손의 위치 변화 및 사용자의 근전도 중 적어도 하나에 따른 손 동작 정보를 감지하는 감지부와,
    상기 감지부에 의해 감지된 사용자의 손 동작 정보를 수집하고, 컴프레서에 구동신호를 전달하는 제어부를 포함하는 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 제어부에 의해 인접한 모바일 등의 통신 단말에 감지부에서 수집된 정보를 송출하는 통신 모듈을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 감지부는, 손가락의 구부러진 정도를 측정하는 손가락 굽힘 감지부와 손의 위치와 손의 움직임을 측정하는 손 운동 감지부 및 사용자의 근전도를 측정하는 근전도 측정부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 손가락 굽힘 감지부는, 상기 장갑체의 손가락 바닥과 등 중 적어도 어느 한 위치에 손가락의 길이방향으로 설치되어 손가락의 구부러진 정도에 따라 저항이 달라지는 플렉스 센서(Flex Sensor)인 것을 특징으로 하는 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치.
  5. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 손 운동 감지부는, 손의 바닥과 등 중 적어도 어느 한 위치에 설치되며,
    가속도 센서, 자이로 센서, 관성측정유닛(IMU : Inetial Measurement Unit) 중 적어도 어느 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 운동 보조 튜브는, 상기 장갑체의 각 손가락부의 등에 설치되어 서로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치.
  7. 제1항 또는 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 운동 보조 튜브는 단면이 아이(I)자 형태인 아이빔의 형태로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치.
  8. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 컴프레서와 상기 운동 보조 튜브의 사이에는 공급되는 공기의 역류를 방지하도록 작동되는 체크밸브(check valve)가 설치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치.
  9. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 운동 보조 튜브에 가해지는 공기 압력을 측정하여 측정값을 제어부로 전달하는 압력측정부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 신경장애 환자를 위한 재활 운동 장치.
  10. 손에 착용하도록 장갑 형태로 제작되는 장갑체와,
    상기 장갑체에 설치되며 손가락의 움직임, 손의 자세변화, 손의 위치 변화 중 적어도 하나에 따른 손 동작 정보를 감지하는 감지부와,
    상기 감지부에 의해 감지된 사용자의 손 동작 정보를 받아 무선 통신 모듈을 통해 원격에 위치한 모바일에서 작동되는 프로그램을 조작하도록 조작신호를 송출하는 제어부를 포함하는 모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치.
  11. 제10항에 있어서,
    상기 감지부는, 손가락의 구부러진 정도를 측정하는 손가락 굽힘 감지부와 손의 위치와 손의 움직임을 측정하는 손 운동 감지부를 포함하는 모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치.
  12. 제11항에 있어서,
    상기 손가락 굽힘 감지부는, 상기 장갑체의 각 손가락 바닥과 등 중 적어도 어느 한 위치에 손가락의 길이방향으로 설치되며 손가락의 구부러진 정도에 따라 저항이 달라지는 플렉스 센서(Flex sensor)인 것을 특징으로 하는 모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치.
  13. 제11항에 있어서,
    상기 손 운동 감지부는, 손의 바닥과 등 중 적어도 어느 한 위치에 설치되며,
    가속도 센서, 자이로 센서, 관성측정유닛(IMU : Inetial Measurement Unit) 중 어도 어느 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 모바일 연동 장갑형 데이터 입력장치.
  14. 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 장치로서,
    사람이 손가락을 펴는 동작에 필요한 최소힘의 평균값에 대한 정보를 저장하는 선행 정보부(prior information);
    상기 선행 정보부에 의해 획득된 정보를 이용하여, 상기 손가락 재활 운동 장치를 이용하여 재활 운동을 하는 사용자가 손가락을 펼 때 필요한 최소힘을 계산하는 최소힘 계산부; 및
    상기 최소힘 계산부에 의해 계산된 최소힘을 고려하여 결정되는 보조힘이 제공되었을 때, 상기 사용자의 손가락이 실제 펴진 각도와 특정 재활 동작의 손가락 자세에 따른 목표 각도의 차이로부터 상기 계산된 최소힘과 실제힘의 차이를 계산하는 오차 계산부
    를 포함하는 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 장치.
  15. 제14항에 있어서,
    손가락이 펴진 각도를 측정하는 각도 측정부를 더 포함하고,
    상기 최소힘 계산부는, 상기 각도 측정부에 의해 측정된 상기 사용자의 현재 손가락 각도로부터 상기 특정 재활 동작의 손가락 자세를 취하는데 필요한 최소힘을, 상기 선행 정보부에 저장된 정보에 기초하여 계산하는 것을 특징으로 하는 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 장치.
  16. 제14항에 있어서,
    근전도를 측정하는 근전도 측정부를 더 포함하고,
    상기 최소힘 계산부는, 상기 근전도 측정부에 의해 측정된 상기 사용자의 현재 근전도 값으로부터 상기 특정 재활 동작의 손가락 자세를 취하는데 필요한 최소힘을, 상기 선행 정보부에 저장된 정보에 기초하여 계산하는 것을 특징으로 하는 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 장치.
  17. 제14항에 있어서,
    상기 계산된 최소힘에 임의성(randomness)을 제공하는 임의 잡음 신호 생성기(random noise signal generator)를 더 포함하고,
    상기 사용자에게 제공되는 보조힘은, 상기 계산된 최소힘에 상기 임의 잡음 신호 생성기에 의해 생성된 임의 잡음 신호가 반영되는 것을 특징으로 하는 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 장치.
  18. 제14항에 있어서,
    상기 오차 계산부는, 상기 특정 재활 동작에 필요한 손가락 자세에 따른 목표 각도와 상기 실제 펴진 각도의 차이에 특정 상수값을 곱함으로써 상기 최소힘과 실제힘의 차이를 계산하는, 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 장치.
  19. 제14항에 있어서,
    상기 최소힘 계산부는, 상기 오차 계산부에 의해 계산된 상기 최소힘과 상기 실제힘의 차이에 기초하여, 상기 사용자가 상기 특정 재활 동작의 재활 운동을 하는데 보조할 최소힘을 갱신하는 것을 특징으로 하는 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 장치.
  20. 제19항에 있어서,
    최소힘 계산부는, 선형 리그레션 모델(linear regression model), 칼만 필터(kalman filter) 및 베이시안 필터(bayesian filter) 중 적어도 하나에 의해 구현되는, 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 장치.
  21. 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 방법으로서,
    사람이 손가락을 펴는 동작에 필요한 최소힘의 평균값에 대한 정보를 저장하는 단계;
    상기 손가락 재활 운동 장치를 이용하여 재활 운동을 하는 사용자가 손가락을 펼 때 필요한 최소힘을 계산하는 단계;
    상기 계산된 최소힘을 고려하여 결정되는 보조힘이 제공되었을 때, 상기 사용자의 손가락이 실제 펴진 각도와 특정 재활 동작의 손가락 자세에 따른 목표 각도의 차이로부터 상기 계산된 최소힘과 실제힘의 차이를 계산하는 단계; 및
    상기 계산된 최소힘과 실제힘의 차이에 기초하여, 상기 사용자가 상기 특정 재활 동작의 재활 운동을 하는데 보조할 최소힘을 갱신하는 단계
    를 포함하는 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 방법.
  22. 제21항에 있어서,
    상기 최소힘을 계산하는 단계는,
    손가락 각도 측정부에 의해 측정된 상기 사용자의 현재 손가락 각도로부터 상기 특정 재활 동작의 손가락 자세를 취하는데 필요한 최소힘을, 상기 선행 정보부에 저장된 정보에 기초하여 계산하는 것을 특징으로 하는 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 방법.
  23. 제21항에 있어서,
    상기 최소힘을 계산하는 단계는,
    근전도 측정부에 의해 측정된 상기 사용자의 현재 근전도 값으로부터 상기 특정 재활 동작의 손가락 자세를 취하는데 필요한 최소힘을, 상기 선행 정보부에 저장된 정보에 기초하여 계산하는 것을 특징으로 하는 손가락 재활 운동 장치의 능동 보조 제어 방법.
