Abstract

Aufgabe war es, Cellulose und cellulosehaltige Materialien mit möglichst geringem zeitlichem und technisch-ökonomischem Aufwand ohne zerstörende Belastung der Cellulose sowie ohne Stabilitäts- und Wirkungsverlust eventueller additiver Stoffe, beispielsweise Arzneimittel, zu trocknen und bei Bedarf nahezu vollständig in die ursprüngliche Struktur und Konsistenz wieder rezuquellen. Erfindungsgemäß wird die darzustellende getrocknete Cellulose oder das cellulosehaltige Material zum Zweck einer Trocknung mit Erhalt der Quellfähigkeit unter nahezu vollständiger Wiederherstellbarkeit der Cellulosestruktur und -konsistenz dem adsorbierenden Einfluss eines Feuchtigkeitsbinders, insbesondere einer osmotisch und/oder hygroskopisch wirksamen Lösung ausgesetzt und danach ungeachtet einer Strukturveränderung des Materials getrocknet.
