Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à une articulation mobile qui convient pour être raccordée à un élément tubulaire, ladite articulation mobile comprenant un élément creux qui comporte une surface interne qui définit une cavité, et un élément de rotation qui comporte une surface externe qui correspond à ladite cavité, ledit élément de rotation étant tourillonné pour tourner dans ladite cavité. Ledit élément de rotation comporte une surface interne qui définit un alésage cylindrique à travers ledit élément de rotation et centré sur un axe longitudinal dudit élément de rotation, l'alésage cylindrique étant configuré pour recevoir un élément tubulaire. Ladite articulation mobile comprend en outre un mécanisme de verrouillage libérable destiné à verrouiller de manière libérable un élément tubulaire dans ledit alésage cylindrique de telle sorte que, lorsque ledit élément tubulaire est verrouillé dans ledit alésage cylindrique, ledit élément tubulaire et ledit élément de rotation sont fixés l'un par rapport à l'autre et peuvent tourner par rapport au dit élément creux. Ledit mécanisme de verrouillage comprend une cage raccordée à l'élément de rotation et comportant une pluralité de fenêtres qui ferment partiellement des évidements formés sur la surface interne dudit élément de rotation, lesdits évidements étant allongés dans une direction longitudinale parallèle à l'axe longitudinal, recevant un rouleau et présentant une base inclinée dans ladite direction longitudinale de telle sorte qu'au niveau d'une extrémité inférieure de chaque évidement, le rouleau fasse saillie à travers ladite fenêtre et qu'au niveau d'une extrémité supérieure de ce dernier, le rouleau fasse moins saillie ou ne fasse pas du tout saillie.
