Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil de forage de puits (2), et une méthode associée, qui est capable de passer d'une première configuration de fonctionnement d'assemblage à une deuxième configuration de fonctionnement d'utilisation et vice versa. Ledit appareil (2) comprend une sous-structure (21) qui supporte ledit appareil (2), un mât (23) qui pivote par rapport à ladite sous-structure (21) autour de laquelle il tourne de façon à passer de ladite configuration de fonctionnement d'assemblage, qui est sensiblement horizontale, à ladite configuration de fonctionnement d'utilisation et vice versa ; un plancher de forage (22) qui peut être levé et qui est raccordé au mât (23) ; un dispositif d'actionnement (3) qui est conçu pour permettre à l'appareil de forage (2) de commuter entre lesdites deux configurations de fonctionnement. Le dispositif d'actionnement (3) est un dispositif hydraulique qui est raccordé directement au mât (23). Le plancher de forage (22) comprend une première partie (22a) qui dépasse par rapport audit mât (23) et une deuxième partie (22b) qui est restreinte audit mât (23) et tourne avec lui. Un treuil de forage (58) est installé de façon permanente sur la sous-structure (21).
