- the difference in thickness between the superabsorbent polymer existing region 71 and the superabsorbent polymer non-existing region 72 extending in the longitudinal direction becomes large.
- the absorbent article 1 is easy to bend in the width direction, which makes it difficult to bend in the longitudinal direction.
- the absorbent article 1 is easily bent in the longitudinal direction by the elastic contraction force of the elastic member 15 provided on the leak-proof wall 16 described later.
- the absorbent article 1 when used as a light incontinence pad, the elastic contraction force of the elastic member 15 is increased in order to securely stand the leak-proof wall 16 so that a large amount of urine does not leak from the absorbent article 1. is doing. For this reason, when the absorbent article 1 is used as a light incontinence pad, the absorbent article 1 is easily bent in the longitudinal direction by the elastic contraction force of the elastic member 15 provided on the leak-proof wall 16. Therefore, particularly when the absorbent article 1 is used as a light incontinence pad, the effect of providing the superabsorbent polymer existing region 71 and the superabsorbent polymer non-existing region 72 in the superabsorbent polymer sheet 7 is further enhanced.
- the superabsorbent polymer sheet 7 may be bonded to the top sheet 4 using a hot melt adhesive.
- a hot-melt adhesion part (not shown) is applied to the superabsorbent polymer sheet 7 in a streak shape, for example. This is because the body fluid permeability is not good at the portion where the hot melt adhesive is applied, so the portion where the hot melt adhesive is not applied is provided on the superabsorbent polymer sheet 7. Therefore, if the coating method can provide a region where the hot melt adhesive is not applied, that is, if the coating method can intermittently arrange the portion where the hot melt adhesive is applied, The method for applying the melt adhesive is not limited to the stripe coating method.
- the hot melt adhesive may be applied to the superabsorbent polymer sheet 7 by a non-contact coating method such as omega coating.
- the superabsorbent polymer sheet 7 may be further bonded to the absorbent layer 6 using a hot melt adhesive.
- the crease formed when the absorbent article 1 is folded for individual packaging is less likely to remain in the absorbent article 1. This is because the crease is less likely to remain in the absorbent body 7a made of only the superabsorbent polymer as compared with the absorbent body containing fibers such as pulp.
- a hot melt adhesive (not shown) may be applied to the surface on the absorber 7a side of the upper liquid permeable sheet 7b and the lower liquid permeable sheet 7c.

And the leak-proof wall 16 prevents body fluid from leaking outside the absorbent article 1 through the top sheet 2.
- the height when the leak-proof wall 16 stands is preferably 5 to 30 mm.
- the portion extending in the width direction of the side sheet 8 constitutes the wing portion 3 together with the portion extending in the width direction of the back sheet 5.

- the seal portion 12 provided at the end portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 2 prevents the topsheet 4 from peeling from the backsheet 5 at the end portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 2. Further, the seal portion 12 increases the rigidity of the end portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 2 and suppresses the rounding of the end portion in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 2.
- the seal portions 13 provided on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the wing portion 3 prevent the side sheet 8 from peeling from the back surface sheet 5 in the wing portion 3. Moreover, the seal part 13 increases the rigidity of the wing part 3 and makes it easy to bend the wing part 3.
- each component of the absorbent article 1 was demonstrated, next, the positional relationship of each component is demonstrated.
- the position that serves as a reference in describing the positional relationship of each component is the intersection of the contour 31 of the wing 3 and the side edge 21 of the main body 2, and the position of the end 32 in the longitudinal direction of the wing 3;

- the width direction inner ends of the seal portions 13 provided on both sides of the wing portion 3 in the longitudinal direction are preferably at the same position with respect to the root 33 of the wing portion 3 or at the width direction outer side. More preferably, it is at the same position with respect to the root 33 of the wing part 3. Since the portion of the wing portion 3 where the seal portion 13 is provided has high rigidity, the wing portion 3 can be bent near the base 33 of the wing portion 3.
- the absorbent article 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention can be modified as follows.
- symbol is attached
- an opening 35 penetrating in the thickness direction may be provided in the wing 3A.

It is the same position with respect to the root 33. Since the rigidity of the wing 3A is low near the base 33 of the wing 3A, when the absorbent article 1A is attached to the underwear, the wing 3A can be easily bent near the base 33 of the wing 3A.
- the seal part 13 is provided in the both sides of the longitudinal direction of the wing part 3A. Thereby, the tensile strength of the width direction in the wing part 3A which has become small by providing the opening part 35 can be raised.
- the wing part 3 is formed by the side sheet 8 and the back sheet 5 that form the leak-proof wall 16 at the inner end in the width direction.
- the side sheet 8 and the back sheet are separate members. You may make it form a wing part.
- members other than the side sheet and the back sheet may be provided on both sides in the width direction of the main body portion to form the wing portion.
- a member different from the side sheet that forms the leak-proof wall at the inner end in the width direction is provided on the outer side in the width direction of the side sheet, and the wing portion is formed by a member different from the side sheet and the back sheet. You may make it form.
- the absorbent article of the present invention can be used as an incontinence pad, a sanitary napkin, a panty liner, etc., and can be particularly suitably used as a light incontinence pad.
- Light incontinence pads are products that are often used for a long time compared to sanitary napkins, so it is necessary to have a configuration that considers long-term use, and the absorbent article of the present invention is stable for a long time in underwear. Since it can be fixed, it is particularly preferably used for light incontinence pads.
