Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for the suction of air to the shower head of a sanitary shower guided water according to the preamble of claim 1 and a shower head of a sanitary shower with such a device according to claim 10.
- a sanitary shower the supplied water is mixed with air by means of the Venturi principle , The addition of up to 30% air reduces water consumption and also softens the water jet leaving the shower head.
- DE 10 2004 059 328 A1 discloses a shower head for a sanitary shower, in which the air intake takes place directly in the shower head.
- a generic device for the suction of air for the shower head of the sanitary shower guided water is known.
- the device is not integrated directly in the shower head, but rather is arranged upstream of the shower head.
- the addition of air takes place in the manner of a water jet pump, in which the water is injected at high speed from an outlet opening into a downstream cavity in which a negative pressure is generated.
- the cavity is in fluid communication with an air nozzle in connection, is sucked through the air into the cavity.
- the air nozzle has mutually adjustable first and second nozzle channels. In an open position, the two nozzle channels are aligned with their mutually facing mouth sections, whereby a maximum air passage is formed.
- the two nozzle body can manually between an open position and a Closed position to be postponed. In the closed position, the air passage of the air nozzle is blocked.
- the two mutually facing mouth sections of the air channels are in DE 199 01 704 A1 in about the same size and have approximately diameter, which are only a few millimeters in size.
- the travel of the adjustable nozzle body between the open position and the closed position is very short, with a correspondingly steeply extending actuating characteristic. In this way, a sensible fine adjustment of the addition of air between the open position and the closed position is not possible.
- the sensation and cleaning effect of differently aerated jets of water is different, such adjustment of the aeration is of great importance to the user.
- the object of the invention is to provide a device for the intake of air for the shower head led to a sanitary shower water, in which the user can easily set different amounts of air for admixture with the water.
- the invention is based on the fact that in the prior art, the mutually facing mouth sections of mutually adjustable nozzle channels of the air nozzle are dimensioned so that between a closed and an open position, a characteristic curve is extremely steep, whereby no fine adjustment of the enclosed amount of air is possible , against this background, at least one of the two nozzle channels is under formation a throttle chamber extended to its mouth opening. In an intermediate position between the closed position and the open position, the throttle chamber can connect the two nozzle channels at least partially with each other. In this way, in the intermediate position, a free air passage cross section is adjustable, with which the amount of air to be added to the water can be manually varied by the user in a simple manner.
- the two nozzle channels of the air nozzle can be aligned in the open position in alignment with each other.
- the mouth cross section at the mouth of the nozzle channel provided with the throttle chamber is composed of the opening cross section of the nozzle channel and from the opening cross section of the throttle chamber.
- the opening cross section of the nozzle channel provided with the throttle chamber without the opening cross section of the throttle chamber, be aligned with the opening cross section of the opposite orifice of the other nozzle channel.
- the opening cross sections of the two nozzle channels can be identical, for example of the same diameter.
- the mouth openings of the two nozzle channels of sealing surfaces can be completely covered airtight.
- the expanded by means of the throttle chamber orifice of a nozzle channel may be partially covered and indeed to form a free passage cross-section which is smaller than the passage cross-section in the above-mentioned open position.
- the first and the second nozzle channel may each be formed in a first and in a second nozzle body.
- the two nozzle bodies can each be integrated directly in the shower head. Alternatively, the two nozzle bodies may also be integrated in a separately thereof in the water supply line, that is to say in the shower hose, upstream of the shower head.
- the two nozzle body can be moved in particular transversely to a channel axis by means of an adjusting movement about a travel between the open position and the closed position.
- the appropriate air admixture can be adjusted in the intermediate positions.
- the throttle chamber can protrude from the first nozzle channel by a predetermined throttle path and merge into a sealing surface.
- the throttle chamber In an intermediate position, the throttle chamber is directly facing the opposite orifice opening of the second nozzle channel.
- the mouth opening of the second nozzle channel is covered by the above-mentioned sealing surface of the first nozzle body in order to minimize or completely block the addition of air.
- the throttle chamber may also have a chamber cross-section, which is reduced stepwise or continuously over the aforementioned throttle section in the direction of the sealing surface.
- the first nozzle channel and / or the second nozzle channel may each be designed as a circular, hollow cylindrical bore, wherein the diameter of which may be approximately the same size.
- the first nozzle channel can also open at an inlet opening in the throttle chamber.
- the throttle chamber is limited by a, introduced in the first nozzle body wedge-shaped groove.
- the groove may preferably extend approximately with a ramp-shaped groove bottom to the sealing surface. This means that their groove depth decreases starting from the inlet opening to the sealing surface down to zero.
- the second nozzle channel can open at its air outlet side in a second mixing chamber, which is flowed through by the supplied water for air intake in the manner of a water jet pump. In this way, results in the mixing chamber, a negative pressure with which the air is sucked into the mixing chamber.
- the device for air intake may be an adapter arranged upstream of the shower head, which is interposed, for example, at the transition between the shower hose and a handle of the shower head.
- the above-mentioned first nozzle body may in this case be a rotationally adjustable, radially outer adjusting sleeve, while the second nozzle body is a radially inner connecting piece, through which water flows.
- the adjusting sleeve is mounted rotatably on the radially inner connecting piece, the water flowing under acceleration through a Venturi nozzle within the connecting piece and injected as a water jet through a downstream mixing chamber, which is fluidically connected to the air nozzle.
- the device for air intake can be integrated directly in the shower head.
- the shower head may have a housing formed with a water supply line.
- a jet disk can be provided with water outlet possibilities.
- the first nozzle body can be arranged to be manually rotatable in the housing, while the second nozzle body is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner in the housing.
