Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hot melt adhesive, and more particularly to a hot melt adhesive used in the field of disposable products represented by disposable diapers and napkins.
- Disposable products such as disposable diapers and napkins use adhesives based on thermoplastic block copolymers, especially hot-melt adhesives based on styrene block copolymers.

It is carried out by applying to various constituent members in the form of stripes, stripes, spirals, planes, etc.
- a hot melt adhesive includes a base polymer and a plasticizer.
- a paper diaper or the like is produced with a low-viscosity hot melt adhesive produced by using these methods, the balance between the adhesion to the polyethylene film and the like constituting the paper diaper member and the holding power (cohesive force) is reduced. The softening point may be lowered too much.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a hot-melt adhesive containing a linear styrene block copolymer, a tackifier resin, and a plasticizer (claim 1).
- the hot melt adhesive of the same document is suitable for low temperature coating because of its low viscosity, but the adhesiveness at low temperature is not sufficient.
- Patent Documents 2 to 4 describe a hot-melt adhesive containing a radial styrene block copolymer (claim 1 of each document).
- the hot melt adhesives of Documents 2 to 4 have a high melt viscosity and are not suitable for low temperature coating. Moreover, these are insufficient in any of the peeling strength at the time of low temperature, holding power, or tack which are adhesive performance required for the hot melt adhesive for disposable products.
