Definitions

  • the invention relates to an apparatus for inserting inserts into dies of a tablet press, said apparatus having a feed device with a transfer wheel which is provided with pockets for receiving singled-out inserts, having an insert unit for taking over inserts from the transfer wheel and for transferring the taken-over inserts into the dies of the tablet press downstream, as well as having means for transferring inserts to the pockets of the transfer wheel.
  • An apparatus of this type is used in the case of tablet presses by means of which single-layer or multi-layered tablets are produced which include a core, a so-called insert, in their interior.
