- the present invention relates generally to the use of modular floors, interior or exterior, more specifically to a system for connection and to the method of fitting together the modules constituting the floor covering, through a male element and a female element not integrated in the modules and which is coupled to the modules.
- the main advantage of the solution presented in the invention is to provide a solution that can be adapted to any type of existing floor, since the connection between the modules is achieved through the fitting between two elements, a male and another female, which does not are integrated in the modules, and that they are coupled to them, being fixed to them by a fastening system.

- the male element 2 must be pushed until the tab 2.3.1 enters the groove 1.5, this movement continuing until the tab 2.3.1 is fully underneath the plate 1.4. This occurs when the vertical wall of the plate 1.4 immediately above the groove 1.5 comes into contact with the vertical wall of the plate 2.2 closest to the tab 2.3.1. At that time, the projection (2.2.1) of the plate (2.2) will seat and engage the notch (1.3.2) of the collar (1.3) and the projection (2.2.2) of the plate (2.2) will seat and fit into the notch (1.3.1) of the collar (1.3).
