Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de reproduction sonore et un procédé servant à convertir un signal audio d'entrée gauche (L) et un signal audio d'entrée droit (R) en une image sonore stéréo. Le système de reproduction sonore selon l'invention comprend un convertisseur (3), au moins deux amplificateurs (1, 2) et un élément sonore de panneau (4), ce dernier (4) comprenant une zone de lecture gauche (A), une zone de lecture centrale (B) et une zone de lecture droite (C). Dans le système de reproduction sonore selon l'invention, le convertisseur (3) peut être adapté pour modifier le signal audio gauche (L) et le signal audio droit (R), au moyen d'une matrice, en somme (L+R) du signal audio gauche et droit, en différence (L-R) du signal audio gauche et droit et en différence (R-L) du signal audio droit et gauche ; au moins deux amplificateurs (1, 2) peuvent être adaptés pour amplifier les signaux audio gauche et droit (L et R) ou leur somme (L+R) et différences (L-R) et (R-L) ; et la zone de lecture centrale (B) de l'élément sonore de panneau (4) peut être adaptée pour recevoir la somme (L+R), la zone de lecture gauche (A) peut être adaptée pour recevoir la différence (L-R) et la zone de lecture droite (C) peut être adaptée pour recevoir la différence (R-L) pour former une image sonore stéréo.
