Abstract

Verfahren zum Geraderichten von Draht oder Bandmaterial mittels einer Dressurvorrichtung mit an gegenüberliegenden Seiten des durchlaufenden Materials (1) versetzt angreifenden Richtrollen (3, 4, 6, 10), von denen einige abhängig von einem Modell, das anhand von Eingangsdaten des Materials und bei dessen Durchlauf durch die Dressurvorrichtung ermittelten Daten des Drahtes und der Dressurvorrichtung stochastisch ermittelt worden ist, automatisch so angestellt werden, dass die Anforderungen an die Geradheit erfüllt werden, wobei die Stellung mindestens einer Richtrolle laufend adaptiert wird aufgrund der genannten, beim Durchlauf durch die Dressurvorrichtung erfassten Daten, welche für die erzielte Geradheit repräsentativ sind, wobei • (i) die Größe und Richtung der an den Richtrollen angreifenden Kräfte an den Richtrollen selbst und/oder • (ii) die Temperatur des Materials vor und nach dem Durchgang durch die Anordnung der Richtrollen und/oder • (iii) die Position des Materials im Anschluss an jede der Richtrollen gemessen und die erhaltenen Messwerte in das die Anstellung der anstellbaren Richtrollen steuernde Modell eingegeben werden. Die Erfindung betrifft auch eine Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens.
