본 출원은 2019년 09월 27일에 출원된 한국 실용신안등록출원 제 20-2019-0003961 호에 기초한 우선권을 주장하며, 해당 출원의 명세서 및 도면에 개시된 모든 내용은 본 출원에 원용된다.
본 발명은 개나 고양이와 같은 애완동물의 털을 손질하는 브러쉬에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로는 애완동물의 털을 손질할 때 빠진 털이 주변으로 흩어지지 않도록 브러싱이 가능한 애완동물용 브러쉬의 구조에 관한 것이다.
현재 애완동물은 사람에게 친구와 가족의 일원으로 인식되어 있으며 매년 애완동물을 키우는 사람이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 애완동물은 많은 시간과 비용을 투자하여 애완동물의 건강과 청결, 미용 등의 관리를 하게 되는 것이고 애완동물을 목욕시킨 후 털 손질을 하거나 매해 털갈이를 할 때 일반적인 브러쉬를 이용하였으나 빗질을 통해 빠지는 털이 날리거나 브러쉬의 빗살 사이에 끼어 엉키므로 사용이 불편하고, 털이 방안 곳곳에 날리게 되어 집안이 지저분해지고 키우는 사람의 건강을 해하게 되는 등의 문제가 있었다.
또한, 종래의 애완동물용 브러쉬는 철 재질로 이루어져서 날카로운 모를 가지고 있기 때문에 반려동물에게 빗질을 할 경우 통증 및 상처를 유발하여 적합하지 않았다.
이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 특허문헌 1(대한민국 공개특허공보 제 2015-0012394 호)과 같이 진동모터를 이용하거나 특허문헌 2(대한민국 등록특허공보 제 10-2017265 호) 및 특허문헌 3(대한민국 등록실용신안공보 제 20-0319818 호)과 같이 진공청소기와 연결하여 빗질을 하면서 빠지는 털을 바로 흡수하여 털이 날리는 것을 방지토록 하고 있다.
그러나, 상기 특허문헌 1 내지 특허문헌 3은 애완동물의 털을 흡입하기 위하여 진동모터나 진공청소기와 같은 구동수단이 반드시 수반되어야 하고 이러한 모터장치나 진공청소기에 브러쉬를 연결하기 위한 복잡한 구조가 수반되어야 하기 때문에 제작과정이 복잡하여 구조적으로 비용 상승을 야기한다.

본 발명은 애완동물의 털을 손질할 때 표피로부터 이탈한 털이 브러쉬 바깥으로 날리지 않도록 하는 구조를 갖는 애완동물용 브러쉬를 제공하는 것을 제 1의 기술적 과제로 한다.
특히, 본 발명은 진동모터나 진공청소기와 같이 인위적인 털 흡입수단을 사용하지 않고 브러쉬의 구조변경만으로 상기 제 1의 기술적 과제를 달성한다.
또한, 본 발명은 애완동물의 털을 손질할 때 애완동물의 모발이 잘 빗어지고, 애완동물의 모발 및 피부 건강에 도움이 되는 것은 물론, 애완동물이 빗질을 거부하지 않고 최대한 편안함과 안락함을 느끼게 할 수 있도록 하는 것을 제 2의 기술적 과제로 한다.

상술한 기술적 과제를 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 제 1 양태는, 애완동물의 털을 손질하기 위한 브러쉬로서, 사용자의 파지를 위한 핸들부와, 이 핸들부에 결합되어 애완동물의 털을 브러싱하기 위한 브러쉬부를 포함하는 애완동물용 브러쉬에 관한 것이다.
상기 제 1 양태에 따른 애완동물용 브러쉬의 상기 브러쉬부는, 바닥판과; 상기 바닥판에 심어진 상태로 연장되는 복수의 브러쉬모로 이루어지는 브뤄쉬모 어레이와; 상기 바닥판에 연접하여 상기 브러쉬모 어레이를 둘러서 감싸는 브러쉬갓을 포함한다. 이때, 상기 브러쉬갓의 높이는 상기 브러쉬모의 높이 보다 큰 것을 특징으로 한다. 이로 인해, 브러싱을 위해 상기 브러쉬갓이 애완동물의 표피에 맞닿았을 때 상기 브러쉬갓 내부에 폐쇄공간이 형성된다.
본 발명에 따른 다른 제 2 양태의 애완동물용 브러쉬는, 상기 브러쉬모의 윗면에 적어도 하나 이상의 제 1 돌기가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 다른 제 3 양태의 애완동물용 브러쉬는, 상기 브러쉬갓의 끝단면에 적어도 하나 이상의 제 2 돌기가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 다른 제 4 양태의 애완동물용 브러쉬의 상기 브러쉬갓은 상기 브러쉬모 어레이를 타원형으로 둘러 감싸고, 상기 브러쉬갓의 장축 부분의 제 2 돌기의 길이가 단축 부분의 제 2 돌기의 길이에 비해 더 긴 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 다른 제 5 양태의 애완동물용 브러쉬의 상기 브러쉬모, 상기 제 1 돌기, 상기 제 2 돌기 및 상기 브러쉬갓은 탄성변형이 가능한 연성 재질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 다른 제 6 양태의 애완동물용 브러쉬의 상기 브러쉬갓은, 상기 바닥판과 연접하여 연장되는 연접부와, 상기 연접부로부터 연장되어 상기 브러쉬모 어레이를 둘러 감싸면서 점진적으로 직경이 커지면서 확장되는 커버부를 포함하고; 상기 제 2 돌기는 상기 커버부의 끝단면에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 다른 제 7 양태의 애완동물용 브러쉬의 상기 핸들부는, 사용자가 손바닥을 안착시킨 상태에서 움켜잡기 위한 핸들과; 상기 핸들에 안착된 사용자의 손을 브러쉬에 밀착 고정시키기 위한 고정앵커를 포함한다.
본 발명에 따른 다른 제 8 양태의 애완동물용 브러쉬의 상기 고정앵커는 다리와 머리를 가진 못 형상으로 이루어지고, 상기 핸들에 안착된 사용자의 검지와 중지 사이에 고정앵커를 끼워서 사용자의 손을 고정시키는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 다른 제 9 양태의 애완동물용 브러쉬의 상기 핸들은 사용자의 손바닥으로 감싸안기에 적합하도록 모자의 챙과 같이 길쭉한 형상을 갖는 것을 특징으로 한다.
본 발명에 따른 브러쉬는 애완동물의 털을 브러싱할 때 빗질에 의해 표피로부터 떨어져 나간 털들을 브러쉬 내부에 가둬서 브러쉬 외부로 날리지 않도록 한다. 이로 인해, 애완동물로부터 떨어져나간 털로 인해 주변 환경을 훼손하거나 사용자의 위생을 헤치지 않는다.
본 발명에 따른 브러쉬는 종래와 같이 털을 흡입하기 위한 별도의 전동수단을 구비하지 않아도 되기 때문에 브러쉬의 구조가 간단해져서 제조 코스트를 현저히 낮출 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 브러쉬는 애완동물의 피부 등에 적절하게 마찰을 유도함으로써 마사지 기능을 극대화할 수 있다. 또한, 브러싱시의 결 방향과 무관하게 사용이 가능하기 때문에 사용자의 편의성을 크게 개선한다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 브러쉬는 브러쉬모의 끝단면(윗면)에 삼중창 형태의 돌기를 형성하여 애완동물의 피부에 깊숙이 박혀있는 죽은 털을 제거하는 효과를 가진다.
본 명세서에 첨부되는 다음의 도면들은 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 예시하는 것이며, 후술되는 발명의 상세한 설명과 함께 본 발명의 기술사상을 더욱 이해시키는 역할을 하는 것이므로, 본 발명은 그러한 도면에 기재된 사항에만 한정되어 해석되어서는 아니된다.

이하, 본 발명의 실시 예를 첨부된 도면들을 참조하여 더욱 상세하게 설명한다. 본 발명의 실시 예는 여러 가지 형태로 변형할 수 있으며, 본 발명의 범위가 아래의 실시예들로 한정되는 것으로 해석되어서는 안 된다. 본 실시예는 당업계에서 평균적인 지식을 가진 자에게 본 발명을 더욱 완전하게 설명하기 위해 제공되는 것이다. 또한, 본 발명의 도면과 명세서에서 특정한 용어들이 사용되었으나, 이는 단지 본 발명을 설명하기 위한 목적에서 사용된 것이지 의미 한정이나 특허청구범위에 기재된 본 발명의 범위를 제한하기 위하여 사용된 것은 아니다. 그러므로 본 기술 분야의 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 이로부터 다양한 변형 및 균등한 타 실시예가 가능하다는 점을 이해할 것이다. 따라서 본 발명의 진정한 기술적 보호범위는 첨부된 특허청구범위의 기술적 사상에 의해 정해져야 할 것이다.
이하 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 상세하게 설명하도록 한다. 첨부된 도면은 축척에 의하여 도시되지 않았으며, 각 도면의 동일한 참조 번호는 동일한 구성 요소를 지칭한다.
도 1은 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따른 애완동물용 브러쉬의 사시도이고, 도 2는 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따른 애완동물용 브러쉬의 브러쉬부에 대한 종단면도이며, 도 3은 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따른 애완동물용 브러쉬의 브러쉬부에 대한 저면도이다.
도 1 내지 도 3을 참조하면, 본 발명의 브러쉬(1)는 크게 사용자가 파지한 상태에서 브러싱하기 위한 핸들부(handle part)(10)와 애완동물의 털을 손질하기 위한 브러쉬부(brush part)(50)로 이루어진다. 상기 핸들부(10)와 상기 브러쉬부(50)는 서로 다른 재질로 이루어져서 분리 가능하게 결합되는 것이 바람직하다. 즉, 상기 핸들부(10)는 내구성이 우수한 딱딱한 플라스틱 재질이 바람직하고, 상기 브러쉬부(50)는 탄성변형이 우수한 부드러운 연성재질이 바람직하다.
상기 핸들부(10)는 다시 도 1과 같이 사용자가 손바닥을 안착시킨 상태에서 움켜잡기 위한 핸들(handle)(11)과 핸들(11)에 안착된 사용자의 손을 브러쉬(1)에 밀착 고정시키기 위한 고정앵커(fixed anchor)(12)를 포함한다. 상기 핸들(11)은 사용자의 손바닥으로 감싸안기에 적합하도록 모자의 챙과 같이 길쭉한 형상을 갖는 것이 바람직하다. 이때, 사용자의 검지와 중지 사이에 상기 고정앵커(12)가 끼워져서 사용자의 손이 미끄러지거나 빠지지 않도록 고정된다. 따라서, 상기 고정앵커(12)는 머리와 다리를 구비한 못과 같은 형상을 갖는 것이 바람직하다.
상기 브러쉬부(50)는 애완동물의 표피와 맞닿은 상태에서 동물의 털을 브러싱하기 위한 부분으로서 상기 핸들부(10)와 분리 가능하게 결합된다. 상기 브러쉬부(50)는 복수의 브러쉬모(combteeth)(51)로 이루어진 브러쉬모 어레이가 심어져 있는 바닥판(floor plate)(52)과 브러쉬모 어레이를 둘러서 감싸는 블러쉬갓(brush shade)(53)을 포함한다. 상기 브러쉬모(51)는 상기 바닥판(52)에 심어져서 설치되는 것으로서 바닥판(52)의 중심부를 둥글게 둘러싸는 형태로 배치되는 것이 바람직하다. 도 3을 참조하면, 복수의 상기 브러쉬모(51)는 바닥판(52)의 중심부를 2열로 둥글게 감싸면서 브러쉬모 어레이를 형성한다.
도 2를 참조하면, 상기 브러쉬모(51)는 상기 바닥판(52)에 밑면을 두고 연장되는 단면 형상이 대략 사디리꼴 형상을 갖는다. 상기 브러쉬모(51)의 윗면(51b)에는 적어도 하나 이상의 제 1 돌기(51a)가 다수개 형성되어 있다. 이 다수의 제 1 돌기(51a)들은 그 길이나 크기 등이 서로 동일한 것이 바람직하다.
그리고, 상기 바닥판(52)에 연접해서 상기 브러쉬모 어레이를 전체적으로 둘러 감싸는 브러쉬갓(53)이 형성된다. 이 브러쉬갓(53)은 도 2와 같이 상기 바닥판(52)에 연접해서 연장되는 연접부(54)와 이 연접부(54)로부터 연장되어 상기 브러쉬모 어레이를 둘러 감싸면서 점진적으로 직경이 커지면서 확장되는 커버부(55) 및 이 커버부(55)의 끝단면(57)에 형성되는 다수의 제 2 돌기(56)를 포함한다.
상기 브러쉬갓(53)은 도 3과 같이 장축과 단축을 갖는 타원형으로 형성되는데 상기 장축 부분(57a)에 형성되는 제 2 돌기(56)의 높이(길이)가 상기 단축 부분(57b)에 형성되는 제 2 돌기(56)의 높이(길이)에 비해 더 큰 것을 특징으로 한다.
또한, 상기 브러쉬모(51)는 상기 브러쉬갓(53)의 끝단면(57)으로부터 바닥판(52)을 향해 일정하게 이격되는 높이를 갖도록 상기 바닥판(52)에 심어진다. 즉, 상기 브러쉬모(51)의 높이는 상기 브러쉬갓(53)의 높이 보다 작아야 한다. 이로 인해, 도 2와 같이 상기 브러쉬모(51)의 윗면(51b)과 상기 브러쉬갓(53)의 끝단면(57) 사이에는 일정한 갭(h1)이 형성된다. 또한, 상기 브러쉬모(51)의 제 1 돌기(51a)와 상기 브러쉬갓(53)의 끝단면(57) 사이에도 일정한 갭(h2)이 형성된다. 따라서, 사용을 위해 상기 브러쉬갓(53)의 끝단면(57)을 애완동물의 표피에 접촉시켰을 때, 상기 제 1 돌기(51a)가 형성된 브러쉬모(51)는 상기 브러쉬갓(53) 바깥으로 드러나지 않는다.
또한, 상기 브러쉬갓(53), 상기 브러쉬모(51) 및 상기 제 1 및 제 2 돌기(51a, 56)는 모두 동일한 연성 재질의 실리콘으로 이루어지는 것이 바람직한데, 그 재질은 연성을 갖는 것이라면 반드시 동일할 필요는 없다.
상기 제 1 돌기(51a)와 제 2 돌기(56)는 애완동물의 피부와 직접 접촉하여 애완동물의 털을 쓸어내리면서 빗질하는 역할을 한다. 그리고, 상기 브러쉬갓(53)은 애완동물의 털을 빗질할 때 브러쉬갓(53)의 커버부(55)의 끝단면(57)이 애완동물의 표피와 맞닿으면서 브러쉬갓(53) 내부에 폐쇄공간(58)을 형성한다. 이렇게 폐쇄공간(58)이 형성된 상태에서 도 4와 같이 브러쉬(1)를 애완동물의 표피를 향해 눌러 압박하게 되면 브러쉬갓(53)의 커버부(55)가 눌려서 바깥으로 퍼지면서 상기 갭(h1, h2)이 없어지면서 상기 브러쉬모(51)의 제 1 돌기(51a)가 애완동물의 표피에 닿게 된다. 이 상태에서 사용자가 브러쉬(1)를 움직여서 애완동물의 털을 브러싱하게 되면 상기 브러쉬모(51)와 제 1 돌기(51a)에 의해 빗질되면서 표피에서 떨어진 털들이 브러쉬갓(53) 바깥으로 빠져나가지 않고 상기 폐쇄공간(58)에 갇히게 된다. 이로 인해, 브러싱으로 인해 주변으로 날리는 털을 최소화할 수 있어서 환경적으로 쾌적할 뿐만 아니라 위생적으로 안전하게 된다.
또한, 상기 제 2 돌기(56)의 존재로 인해 애완동물의 표피와 상기 브러쉬갓(53)의 커버부(55)의 끝단면(57) 사이의 마찰력을 줄이면서 제 2 돌기(56)에 의해 추가적인 브러싱도 가능하다. 또한, 브러쉬갓(53)은 도 3과 같이 타원형을 갖기 때문에 사용자가 브러싱을 위해 힘을 가하게 되면 단축 부분(57b) 보다는 장축 부분(57a)에 더 큰 힘이 실리게 된다. 따라서, 브러쉬갓(53)의 장축 부분(57a)에 형성되는 제 2 돌기(56)의 길이가 브러쉬갓(53)의 단축 부분(57b)에 형성되는 제 2 돌기(56)의 길이 보다 더 큰 것이 바람직하다.
상술한 구성의 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예에 따른 브러쉬(1)를 이용하여 애완동물의 털을 브러싱하는 과정을 도 4 및 도 5를 참조하여 설명한다.
본 발명에 따른 브러쉬(1)를 사용하여 애완동물의 털을 관리하고자 하는 사용자는 도 5와 같이 브러쉬(1)의 핸들부(10)를 감싸 쥔다. 이때, 사용자의 손바닥은 핸들(11)의 표면과 밀착되고, 검지와 중지가 고정앵커(12)에 거치되어 고정된다. 이렇게 브러쉬(1)를 감싸쥔 상태에서 사용자는 브러쉬갓(53)의 커버부(55)의 끝단면(57)이 애완동물의 표피와 맞닿아서 브러쉬갓(53) 내부에 폐쇄공간(58)을 형성하도록 브러쉬(1)를 애완동물의 표피에 접촉시킨다. 이렇게 브러쉬(1)가 애완동물의 표피에 접촉된 상태에서 도 4와 같이 브러쉬(1)를 애완동물의 표피를 향해 눌러 압박하게 되면 브러쉬갓(53)의 커버부(55)가 눌려서 바깥으로 퍼지면서 상기 브러쉬모(51)의 제 1 돌기(51a)가 애완동물의 표피에 닿게 된다. 이 상태에서 사용자는 브러쉬(1)를 움직이면서 애완동물의 털을 브러싱하면 된다. 이때, 상기 브러쉬모(51)와 제 1 돌기(51a)에 의해 빗질되면서 표피에서 떨어진 털들은 브러쉬갓(53) 바깥으로 빠져나가지 못하고 상기 폐쇄공간(58)에 갇히게 된다. 사용자는 브러싱이 완료된 후에 상기 폐쇄공간(58)내에 잔존하는 털들을 제거하여 브러쉬(1)를 청소한다. 이로 인해, 브러싱으로 인해 주변으로 날리는 털을 최소화할 수 있다.
또한, 브러쉬모(51), 제 1 및 제 2 돌기(51a, 56) 및 브러쉬갓(53)이 모두 연질의 실리콘 재질로 이루어져 있기 때문에 애완동물의 피부 등에 적절하게 마찰을 유도함으로써 마사지 기능을 극대화할 수 있다. 즉, 실리콘 소재가 보유한 특성에 기인하여 피부와의 마찰시 운동 방향에 따라 유연하게 절곡되면서 적절한 수준의 압박이 실행되는바, 보다 광범위한 피부 자극이 자극적이지 않게 쉽고 간편하게 유도될 수 있으며, 합성수지 등으로 이루어지던 기존과 달리 결 방향에 무관하게 사용 가능하므로 편의성 발휘에 크게 기여한다.
지금까지 설명한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 애완동물용 브러쉬를 상기 설명 및 도면에 표현하였지만 이는 예를 들어 설명한 것에 불과하여 본 발명의 사상이 상기 설명 및 도면에 한정되지 않으며, 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 다양한 변화 및 변경이 가능할 것이다.
또한, 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 있어 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 여러 가지 치환, 변형 및 변경이 가능하므로 전술한 실시예 및 첨부된 도면에 의해 한정되는 것이 아니다.

Claims (9)

  1. 애완동물의 털을 손질하기 위한 브러쉬로서,
    사용자의 파지를 위한 핸들부와, 이 핸들부에 결합되어 애완동물의 털을 브러싱하기 위한 브러쉬부를 포함하고;
    상기 브러쉬부는,
    바닥판과;
    상기 바닥판에 심어진 상태로 연장되는 복수의 브러쉬모로 이루어지는 브뤄쉬모 어레이와;
    상기 바닥판에 연접하여 상기 브러쉬모 어레이를 둘러서 감싸는 브러쉬갓을 포함하고;
    상기 브러쉬갓의 높이는 상기 브러쉬모의 높이 보다 크고,
    이로 인해, 브러싱을 위해 상기 브러쉬갓이 애완동물의 표피에 맞닿았을 때 상기 브러쉬갓 내부에 폐쇄공간이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 애완동물용 브러쉬.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서,
    상기 브러쉬모의 윗면에 적어도 하나 이상의 제 1 돌기가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 애완동물용 브러쉬.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서,
    상기 브러쉬갓의 끝단면에 적어도 하나 이상의 제 2 돌기가 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 애완동물용 브러쉬.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서,
    상기 브러쉬갓은 상기 브러쉬모 어레이를 타원형으로 둘러 감싸고,
    상기 브러쉬갓의 장축 부분의 제 2 돌기의 길이가 단축 부분의 제 2 돌기의 길이에 비해 더 긴 것을 특징으로 하는 애완동물용 브러쉬.
  5. 제 1 항 내지 제 4 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
    상기 브러쉬모, 상기 제 1 돌기, 상기 제 2 돌기 및 상기 브러쉬갓은 탄성변형이 가능한 연성 재질로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 애완동물용 브러쉬.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서,
    상기 브러쉬갓은,
    상기 바닥판과 연접하여 연장되는 연접부와,
    상기 연접부로부터 연장되어 상기 브러쉬모 어레이를 둘러 감싸면서 점진적으로 직경이 커지면서 확장되는 커버부를 포함하고;
    상기 제 2 돌기는 상기 커버부의 끝단면에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 애완동물용 브러쉬.
  7. 제 6 항에 있어서,
    상기 핸들부는,
    사용자가 손바닥을 안착시킨 상태에서 움켜잡기 위한 핸들과;
    상기 핸들에 안착된 사용자의 손을 브러쉬에 밀착 고정시키기 위한 고정앵커를 포함하는 애완동물용 브러쉬.
  8. 제 7 항에 있어서,
    상기 고정앵커는 다리와 머리를 가진 못 형상으로 이루어지고,
    상기 핸들에 안착된 사용자의 검지와 중지 사이에 고정앵커를 끼워서 사용자의 손을 고정시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 애완동물용 브러쉬.
  9. 제 7 항에 있어서,
    상기 핸들은 사용자의 손바닥으로 감싸안기에 적합하도록 모자의 챙과 같이 길쭉한 형상을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 애완동물용 브러쉬.
