Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil de tournage destiné à des tours, comprenant un insert de coupe (1) et un porte-outil (2) présentant un évidement (22) destiné à recevoir l'insert de coupe (1) dans une position de travail (P), qui est situé sur une extrémité du corps de base qui peut être avancé vers une position de travail, ayant un corps de base oblong (21) doté d'une section transversale polygonale. Le corps de base (21) présente de préférence un évidement cylindrique (22) qui s'étend de préférence dans sa direction longitudinale, dans lequel évidement (22) sont reçus une pluralité d'inserts de coupe (1) en ligne droite, qui les uns après les autres et alignés dans la même orientation sont montés de façon à être mobiles dans la direction vers la position de travail (P).
