Definitions
- the invention relates to a window guide, in particular for a movable window pane of a motor vehicle, a window guide arrangement and a method for producing a window guide.
- Window guides are known from use, which have an elongate guide element with a cross-section that is constant in the longitudinal direction, at least in sections, for contact with a window pane, as well as several fastening elements in the form of small lips, which are materially connected to the guide element, for fastening the window guide to a motor vehicle body/door / Panel, in particular a U-channel of a vehicle pillar include.
- the window guide is held in the U-channel by means of the small lips in a force-fitting and form-fitting manner.
- the disadvantage here is that the forces required to mount the seal are relatively high and the removal forces are rather small.
- the fitter also receives no feedback as to whether the window guide is correctly positioned on the vehicle body/door/panel.
- the object of the invention is therefore to create a window guide, a window guide arrangement and a method for producing a window guide which enable simple and precisely positioned assembly and secure attachment of the window guide to a motor vehicle body/door/panel.
- fastening elements extend in the longitudinal direction of the guide element with a constant cross section.
- Such a Window guide can be produced particularly easily, for example, by extrusion of the guide element and the fastening elements.
- the cross section of two fastening elements spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction by a recess is identical.
- the spacing and the length of the fastening elements in the longitudinal direction of the window guide can be adapted to corresponding openings in the motor vehicle body/door/panel.
- the window guide can have a receptacle for positively locking a sliding block of a window pane.
- a recording of this type makes it possible to guide a window pane vertically over the sliding block, but to reliably support forces at right angles thereto. This is particularly important in window panes which are arranged flush with an outside of a vehicle body.
- the receptacle can have a cavity that can be gripped from behind by a sliding block or an undercut, so that a reliable form-fitting support is made possible.
- provision can be made for the receptacle to be arranged in the guide element, in particular adjacent to the fastening elements in cross section. As a result, the forces can be supported by the window pane with only very small tolerances.
- the guide element can be connected to the fastening elements by coextrusion, which enables particularly quick and simple production in one work step.
- the guide element can have at least one sealing lip for sealing contact with a window pane of a motor vehicle.
- several sealing lips are provided, which are in sealing contact with a window pane and also guide it.
- the fastening elements can comprise a material that is harder than the guide element and in particular compared to the sealing lips.
- the fasteners can, for example, completely or at least partially made of polypropylene or a be formed hard EPDM, whereas the guide element can be formed at least in sections, for example, from softer EPDM or TPE.
- the fastening elements can each have at least one latching projection projecting laterally in cross section.
- the latching projection can preferably be designed as a holding arm which is inclined in particular in the direction of the guide element in order to grip behind an opening in a motor vehicle body/door/panel in the manner of a barb.
- the fastening elements have, in cross section, two latching projections or retaining arms, which are preferably formed as mirror images, which protrude laterally from a retaining web.
- the holding bar can be made of a harder material such as polypropylene and the holding arms can also be made of a harder material such as polypropylene or a softer material such as EPDM or TPE.
- the holding arms can be pushed through an opening in the vehicle body/door/panel, with the holding arms deforming elastically and, after they have approached the starting position, gripping behind the opening in a form-fitting manner. This forms a defined stop in the direction of removal/release of the window guide
- a latching lug can be arranged on the latching projection or on the holding arm, in particular at a free end.
- the detent preferably protrudes into the opening and is designed to rest on the inside of the opening. This centers the window guide relative to the opening.
- a second stop can be formed by a stop element, which protrudes in particular in the direction of the locking projection, so that the window guide in relation to the motor vehicle body/door/panel and in particular in relation to the opening both in Mounting / insertion direction as well as in the removal / release direction is positioned.
- the distance between the locking lug and the stop element in the assembly or removal direction can be smaller than the corresponding wall thickness of the motor vehicle body/door/panel adjacent to the opening, so that the window guide on the motor vehicle body/door/panel in the inserted mounting position is elastically braced.
- the fitter receives direct feedback about the correct positioning of the window guide on the motor vehicle body/door/panel from the locking projection or the holding arm, since the locking projection or the holding arm indicates complete insertion both acoustically and haptically . Incorrect assemblies are thus reliably prevented.
- a window guide arrangement which includes the window guide described and a motor vehicle part, in particular a vehicle door.
- the window guide arrangement is characterized in that spaced apart openings are provided in the motor vehicle part, into which the fastening elements protrude in a holding manner.
- a sliding block can be fastened to the window pane, which protrudes into a receptacle in the window guide in a form-fitting manner.
- the openings can be provided in a panel of a vehicle door, in particular on a vehicle pillar.
- the panel in question with the openings can be produced particularly easily, for example by injection molding, and then attached to the vehicle body, in particular to the vehicle pillar.
- the locking projections or retaining arms of a fastening element can be spaced further apart from one another in cross section, i.e. have a greater maximum distance from one another than the width of the corresponding opening in the vehicle body, so that the locking projections snap behind the corresponding opening in a manner similar to a clip connection - grasp.
- the latching projections can rest on the inside of the opening and/or on surfaces adjacent to the opening.
- the window guide can have a stop element which bears against a side of the motor vehicle part which is remote from the fastening elements. This also ensures that the window guide is positioned in the installation direction.
- a method for producing a window guide in particular the window guide described, is also claimed. The method is characterized in that first an elongate guide element for contact with a window pane and a fastening strip which is materially connected thereto and which have a constant cross-section in the longitudinal direction at least in sections are produced. Areas of the fastening strip are then separated out, as a result of which fastening elements spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction are formed for fastening the window guide to a motor vehicle body/door/panel. In this way, a window guide with fastening elements spaced apart from one another can be produced in a particularly simple manner.
- the manufacture of the window guide can be further simplified if the elongate guide element and the fastening strip are made by co-extrusion.
- the guide element and the fastening strip are extruded in one step and then the window guide is completed by punching out the recesses in the fastening strip.
