Generally, there is no effective solution to the problem of frequent accidents occurring on the premises of automobile dealerships, and the solution to this problem relies heavily on guidance and education of operators.
Although car dealerships want to prevent accidents on their premises, it is difficult to ensure that all employees drive safely, and achieving "elimination of accidents" has become one of the most important challenges for many dealerships.

In the premises of car dealerships and repair shops, where cars are moved around frequently, many accidents occur on the premises, ranging from collisions between workers to personal injuries. According to information from non-life insurance companies, most accidents on the premises are caused by human error, or in other words, distraction, and the never-ending occurrence of such accidents is a headache for each dealership. Looking at the statistics on accidents on the premises, the causes of accidents are roughly considered to be one of the following: driver inappropriate operation, absent-minded driving, inattentive driving, inattention to one's movements, failure to check for safety, or violation of safe speed limits.
In terms of work-related accidents in the automobile repair industry, the number of deaths and injuries remained almost constant at 586 in 2020 (from the Revised Guide to Safe Maintenance Work by the Japan Automobile Service Promotion Organization and the Japan Automobile Repair Industry Trade Association).

Many of the accidents that occur while vehicles are in transit involve new and used cars for maintenance, cars kept by owners, and cars undergoing inspections and general maintenance, and the locations where these accidents occur range widely, from showrooms, factories, and vehicle parking lots.
Accidents occurring while moving a vehicle within a maintenance workshop often occur due to insufficient safety checks in front, behind, and to both sides, resulting in failure to notice people or cars around the vehicle due to a failure to check where possible.
Many accidents occurring while moving vehicles in a maintenance shop occur because the driver neglects to check for safety when starting out, and fails to notice people or cars around them. There are many employees working in a maintenance shop, and the risk of personal injury (injury accidents) is high. Accidents range from minor self-inflicted accidents to serious personal injury accidents, but there are dangerous conditions in maintenance shops that make them prone to personal injury accidents for workers.

The majority of accidents are caused by driver negligence, and this is a dangerous behavior that can easily lead to serious accidents, so it is something that must be avoided.
If such an accident were to occur, it could lead to a loss of trust among vehicle owners and users, as well as huge losses for auto dealers.

Traditionally, in order to raise safety awareness among drivers, each car dealership not only provides safe driving guidance to employees, but also provides education to employees who have caused accidents to prevent recurrence. There are also many accidents involving new employees, so safe driving education is provided during new employee training and campaigns are underway to eliminate accidents on the premises, but these mainly consist of guidance and education on safe driving, as well as awareness-raising activities.

Therefore, in order to "eliminate accidents," other effective measures are needed in addition to the old-fashioned traditional safe driving awareness activities.
The present disclosure has been made in view of the above, and an object of the present disclosure is to provide a warning seat mat that prevents a vehicle driver from operating the vehicle incorrectly or causing an accident.

The warning seat mat of the first aspect of the present disclosure is a warning seat mat for use in a vehicle seat,
A mat body on which an operator who operates the forward or reverse movement of the vehicle can sit;
A pressure sensor provided on the mat body for detecting a pressure acting on the seat surface of the mat body;
a warning means for displaying a warning to alert an operator when the forward or reverse movement of the vehicle is predicted based on a pressure sensor signal that is an output of the pressure sensor;
A power source that is built into the mat body and supplies a drive current to the warning means;
The pressure sensor signal is input, and when it is determined that the vehicle is moving forward or backward, a control unit outputs a drive signal to supply electrical energy from the power source and turn on the warning means.

A warning seat mat according to a second aspect of the present disclosure is a warning seat mat for use in a vehicle seat, comprising:
A mat body on which an operator who operates the forward or reverse movement of the vehicle can sit;
A pressure sensor provided on the mat body for detecting a pressure acting on the seat surface of the mat body;
a warning means for displaying a warning to alert the operator when the pressure sensor detects that the operator has left the mat body;
A power source that is built into the mat body and supplies a drive current to the warning means;
The pressure sensor signal is input, and a control unit outputs a drive signal to supply electrical energy from the power source and turn on the warning means when the operator moves away from the mat body.

According to the first aspect of the present disclosure, when the warning seat mat is placed under the buttocks of a person sitting in a vehicle seat, the pressure sensor detects that the person has sat in the seat. When the pressure sensor detects that the person has sat in the seat, the warning means of the warning seat mat is activated.
According to the first aspect of the warning seat mat of the present disclosure, the warning means is activated (turned on) in a manner that appeals to one or more of the five human senses. For example, a speaker corresponding to the warning means emits a warning sound, and an LED light corresponding to the warning means emits a light, thereby calling the driver's attention to safe driving. This reduces the number of vehicle malfunctions and accidents occurring within the premises.

In the warning seat mat of the first aspect of the present disclosure, a power source is built into the mat body, so when an operator sits in the driver's seat of a vehicle, it is assumed that the operator has predicted a movement such as moving the vehicle forward or backward, and at this time, a warning is issued by the warning means to the operator sitting in the driver's seat and those around, alerting the operator and those around. In addition, the action of the operator sitting in the driver's seat acts to increase the operator's safety awareness, so the operator pays attention to driving, contributing to reducing the occurrence of accidents. The activation of the warning means also alerts those around, so it is possible to increase safety awareness in those other than the operator and reduce the occurrence of accidents.

When not in use, even if a large number of warning seat mats are separated from the vehicle and piled up, the mat drive signal is not outputted and the warning seat mats do not display a warning, which makes storage convenient.
According to the warning seat mat disclosed herein, there is no need to run wiring from the vehicle body, and the operator is notified only when necessary, without needlessly displaying a warning to the surrounding area when it is not necessary, so that the device is simple, easy to use, and handy, and can reduce the occurrence of accidents.

In the first aspect of the present disclosure, the system issues a warning while the driver is seated on the warning seat mat and stops the warning when the driver moves away from the warning seat mat.

According to the warning seat mat of the second aspect of the present disclosure, when a person sitting in a vehicle seat leaves the seat, the pressure sensor detects that the person has left the seat. When the pressure sensor detects that the person has left the seat, the warning means of the warning seat mat is activated.
According to the warning seat mat of the second aspect of the present disclosure, the warning means is activated (turned on) in a manner that appeals to one or more of the five human senses. For example, a speaker corresponding to the warning means emits a warning sound, and an LED light corresponding to the warning means emits a light, thereby urging the driver to drive safely. Specifically, the warning is stopped while the driver is seated in the seat, and is issued when the driver leaves the seat. This urges the driver to check whether the handbrake has been applied or the engine has been turned off.

According to the warning seat mat of the second aspect of the present disclosure, a power source is built into the main body of the mat, so when the operator leaves the driver's seat of the vehicle, a warning is issued by the warning means to the operator and those around, alerting them to their presence. In addition, the action of the operator leaving the driver's seat simultaneously acts to heighten the operator's safety awareness, so the operator contributes to reducing the number of items left behind and children left behind. Activation of the warning means also alerts those around, so it is possible to heighten safety awareness in those other than the operator and reduce the number of items left behind and children left behind.

The front surface 7 of the leg mat body 4 faces this spaced position. A speaker 30 is provided inside the leg mat body 4 so that an output area for generating a warning sound is formed from the front surface 7 of the leg mat body 4. The speaker 30 is placed in a position that does not interfere with the output of the warning sound.
Additionally, an LED light 22, which corresponds to a lighting means capable of emitting a warning light, is provided from the front surface 7 of the leg mat body 4. The LED light 22 is disposed in a position that does not interfere with the output of the warning light.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the pressure sensor 20 is provided in the shaded rectangular region.
As shown in Fig. 3, the seat mat main body 3 includes a pressure sensor 20, a battery power source 40, a USB input port 23, and a volume adjustment switch 25. The specific positions of the battery power source 40, the USB input port 23, and the volume adjustment switch 25 that input to the control unit 50 built into the seat mat main body 3 are not shown in Fig. 1. In this embodiment, the specific positions of the battery power source 40, the USB input port 23, and the volume adjustment switch 25 are not specified. The volume of the volume adjustment switch 25 can be adjusted in three stages, for example.
The leg mat body 4 includes a speaker 30 corresponding to the warning means, and an LED light 22 corresponding to the warning means that emits a warning light. The speaker 30 and the LED light 22 are disposed in a position between the legs of the seated operator and in a non-contact state (separate state) with both legs. The LED light 22 is disposed above and the speaker 30 is disposed below in the center of the leg mat body 4. As a result, when the warning display is activated, the warning light is not blocked and the warning sound is not blocked.

The control unit 50 is built into the seat mat main body 3 as shown in Fig. 1. The control unit 50 is a microcomputer equipped with a CPU, ROM, RAM, non-volatile memory, I/O, etc., and as shown in Fig. 4, executes predetermined processing based on information input from various input devices (pressure sensor 20, USB input port 23, memory card port 24, volume adjustment switch 25), and outputs predetermined alarms and messages using output devices (LED light 22, speaker 30).
Some information is stored in a USB (not shown) that is inserted into the USB input port 23 .
Here, the USB input port 23 functions as a connection power supply port capable of charging the power source 40 from the outside. The memory card port 24 is capable of inserting a memory card that stores a plurality of voices, a plurality of warning phrases, a plurality of different languages, etc., so that the voice to be emitted from the speaker 30 can be selected. For example, the warning sound to be emitted from the speaker 30 can be selected from a plurality of voices.

Next, the operation of the warning seat mat 1 will be described with reference to a flowchart.
First, an operator or a person in charge places the warning seat mat 1 on the seat surface of the driver's seat of a target vehicle. Next, the operator gets into the driver's seat in the vehicle cabin of the target vehicle.
At this time, as shown in FIG. 5, it is judged whether the pressure sensor 20 detects a pressure value equal to or greater than a predetermined pressure value (S101). When the pressure sensor detects a pressure value equal to or greater than the predetermined pressure value, the speaker 30 is turned on based on a command from the control unit 50 (S102, S103), and the LED light 22 is turned on (S104). The speaker 30 generates a warning sound such as "Watch out ahead! Watch out ahead!" The LED light 22 emits, for example, a flashing light signal. This alerts the operator and people around. The operator should be careful when moving the vehicle forward or backward. If a rule is made so that the warning sound leaks from the vehicle compartment through the window, people around outside the vehicle can predict the vehicle's forward or backward movement when they detect the warning sound and the flashing light signal.

Next, the function of the warning mat during the period from when the vehicle enters the premises of the automobile dealer to when it leaves will be described.
When the owner/user of the vehicle arrives at the automobile dealer, as shown in Fig. 6, the vehicle 10 to be repaired, inspected, etc. is driven up to the reception entrance 35 outside the dealer's premises 28. After reception, the dealer's operator moves to the entrance 281 of the premises 28 and stops there. At this entrance 281, the warning seat mat 1 is placed on the top surface of the driver's seat 11 of the vehicle. At this point, the warning seat mat is ready for operation.

When an operator gets into the driver's seat 11 at the entrance 281 of the premises 28, the operator's weight acts on the warning seat mat 1, activating a warning display. This forces the operator to be careful when driving the vehicle. The vehicle is then moved to an appropriate location in the premises 28, for example to the lift area 282, and repaired, for example by lifting the vehicle as shown in FIG. 7. The warning display remains activated as long as the operator is seated in the driver's seat. This prevents the vehicle from moving forward or backward unintentionally.

During the lift period, the operator leaves the driver's seat. During this period, the warning display is hidden. During this period, the operator leaves the vehicle, so there is no risk of erroneous operation by the operator.
After the lift is completed, when the vehicle moves from the lift area 282 in the direction of the arrow 29 shown in Fig. 6, the operation of the warning seat mat 1 resumes when the operator sits in the driver's seat of the vehicle. The warning display is activated when the operator sits down to alert the operator.

6, the operator gets into the driver's seat and drives the vehicle in the direction of arrow 29 to a station 283. During this movement, the warning seat mat 1 also issues a warning.
The warning display is stopped when the operator leaves the driver's seat at the station 283. As a result, the warning display is stopped when no erroneous operation by the operator occurs, and activation of the warning display is stopped, so that unnecessary notifications are not sent to the surroundings, and since the activation of warning sounds, warning lights, etc. is stopped for workplaces working within the premises, workers within the premises 28 will not be bothered by mischief.
Next, the warning sound continues to be activated even during the period when the operator gets on the vehicle at the stop 283 and moves to the exit 284. This prevents unexpected forward or reverse movement, and calls the operator's attention to safely move the vehicle to the exit 284 of the premises 28. When the operator moves the vehicle to the exit 284, gets off the vehicle, and moves away from the warning seat mat 1, the operation of the warning seat mat 1 stops.

In this way, the warning seat mat 1 is placed on the driver's seat of the vehicle throughout the entire premises 28, so that it is possible to reduce accidents caused by the operation of the vehicle by anyone who sits on the mat, not just the driver in charge of the vehicle. A warning is given to the driver immediately before the vehicle starts to encourage him or her to drive carefully, which has the effect of raising the driver's awareness of safe driving.
Since the vehicle is often operated by someone other than the owner in the dealer's premises, the warning display is used to call attention to prevent erroneous operation by the operator of the vehicle. Therefore, by simply placing the warning seat mat of this embodiment on the driver's seat, it is expected that the number of accidents occurring during normal repair and inspection operations in the premises 28 can be significantly reduced.

The warning seat mat of this embodiment can be stored in a place separate from the vehicle when not in use. Since the warning means is automatically kept in the off state even if the power switch is not turned off, this is a user-friendly product that is easy to maintain.
According to the warning seat mat of this embodiment, the mat body 2 can be mechanically separated from the vehicle seat 11, and a power supply is housed in the mat body 2. A battery power supply that supplies electrical energy for turning on and off the warning display is housed in the mat body 2.
Therefore, for example, when an operator gets into the vehicle cabin and sits on the seat, the warning seat mat 1 starts to operate, and a warning display is executed for the operator.
This alerts the operator before the vehicle starts to move forward or backward, thereby reducing forward and reverse movements of the vehicle that are not in line with the operator's intentions and increasing the effect of preventing accidents from occurring.

To predict the forward or reverse movement of a vehicle and to call the attention of an operator seated in a driver's seat to driving operation before the operator manually operates the vehicle forward or reverse, without turning on a key switch for driving by the operator.
According to the warning seat mat of this embodiment, the activation can be set by a simple operation just by placing the warning seat mat on the driver's seat. This warning seat mat is easy to install, easy to use as a cushion type, and is expected to be an effective tool for reducing accidents.
According to the warning seat mat of this embodiment, the battery power source is built-in, so no wiring is required inside the vehicle cabin.

In addition to the mandatory warning sound from the warning seat mat to alert drivers, active provision of appropriate driving instructions through audio guidance is expected to help reduce accidents.
Since an output device for warning display is provided on the warning seat mat 1, the warning can be alerted not only to the operator who gets in the vehicle but also to people around the vehicle in the premises by opening the vehicle door window a little with a warning sound, warning light, etc.
The device of this embodiment is small in size, easy to handle, and easy to use as a stand-alone device. It is simple and easy to use as a warning device, and can be separated from the vehicle and set up when necessary within the premises, making it an effective tool for reducing the number of accidents.

Even after a series of tasks such as vehicle maintenance has been completed within the premises, if an emergency or special situation requires the operator to move the vehicle forward or backward, when the operator gets into the driver's seat and sits in the seat, the system predicts that there is an increased possibility that the vehicle will move forward or backward, and displays a warning to the operator to alert him or her, which is expected to have a significant effect in reducing the occurrence of unexpected accidents.

According to the warning seat mat, simply by sitting on the driver's seat, voice, alarm sounds and lights are generated to warn the driver continuously, and the warning continues until the driver gets out of the car. The warning display stops after it is confirmed that the driver has lost the intention to move forward or backward. It has so-called automatic start and stop functions.
Generally, accidents are caused by unintentional forward or reverse movement, so when the probability of the start of forward or reverse movement increases, a warning display is reliably executed to alert the operator and those nearby, thereby reliably reducing the accident occurrence rate.
The warning seat mat of this embodiment can provide an easy-to-use, simple function at a low price.

As a method of use, for example, when the target vehicle is brought in for service, a vinyl cover to prevent dirt is placed over the seat and the warning seat mat (warning mat) of this embodiment is installed in advance. Also, when the target vehicle is returned to the customer after the work is completed, the vinyl cover is removed from the seat and the mat is collected.
This allows the vehicle to be clearly managed after entering the facility throughout all steps and all time periods starting from both the entrance and exit points of the facility, even if an unexpected operator gets in, even if the operator is a specific one, so that the probability of preventing accidents from occurring can be significantly improved.
Although the device normally has a power switch, this embodiment does not require a power switch.

Second Embodiment
A second embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to Fig. 8. Fig. 8 shows a front view of the leg mat body. In the second embodiment, the seat mat body has the same configuration as the first embodiment, and includes a speaker 30, an LED light 22, and a key pocket 45 on the leg of the leg mat body 4.
The key pocket 45 stores a vehicle key. Furthermore, the key pocket 45 may have a function of reacting when the vehicle key is stored therein.

According to the second embodiment of the present disclosure, when the warning seat mat is brought into the vehicle cabin, the seat mat body is placed on the seat surface of the driver's seat, and the leg mat body is hung down, and the vehicle key is placed through the upper opening of the key pocket 45, the warning seat mat may have a function of activating a warning display in the surrounding area.
For example, in one embodiment, in addition to the pressure sensor provided on the mat body, a sensor for detecting that a vehicle key has been placed in a key pocket 45 provided on the mat body shown in FIG. 8 may be provided.
In this embodiment, when the operator is detected as seated and the vehicle key is detected, this is taken to be a prediction of the vehicle moving forward or backward, and a warning is continuously displayed from the mat's speaker for as long as the key is stored in the key pocket.

Third Embodiment
In the first embodiment, the warning seat mat does not have a power switch because of the built-in battery, but in this embodiment, the power switch is provided on the mat body. The power switch may be located at any position on the mat body. It is preferable that the power switch is located away from the operator's body. The specific location of the power switch is not shown.
A power switch allows the warning seat mat to be manually selected to be powered on or off.

According to the third embodiment, the operator gets into the vehicle and sits in the driver's seat. Then, when the power switch of the warning seat mat is turned on, as shown in FIG. 9, it is determined whether the power switch is turned on (S100), and it is determined whether the pressure sensor 20 detects a pressure value equal to or greater than a predetermined pressure value (S101). When the pressure sensor detects a pressure value equal to or greater than the predetermined pressure value, the speaker 30 is turned on based on a command from the control unit 50 (S102, S103), and the LED light 22 is turned on (S104). As a result, the warning seat mat 1 activates a warning display to alert the operator. The operator recognizes that he is driving safely and performs work such as moving the vehicle within the premises. When the operator has finished working on the vehicle within the premises, he turns off the power of the warning seat mat and gets off the vehicle.
According to the third embodiment, the power switch prevents the pressure sensor from erroneously detecting that the power is turned on even when no one is sitting. For example, the pressure sensor is prevented from reacting and turning on the power just by placing a mobile phone on the warning seat mat on the driver's seat. In addition, the warning seat mats can be stacked and stored when not in use, like stacking cushions. In this case, the power switch of the warning seat mat prevents the warning display from being turned on unintentionally due to the weight of the stacked warning seat mats.

In another embodiment, if the power switch is provided on the leg mat body, it is located away from the operator's legs, reducing the risk of erroneous operation. Of course, this disclosure also allows the power switch to be provided on the seat mat body.

Fourth Embodiment
Unlike the system of the first embodiment described above, which issues a warning when the occupant is seated on the warning seat mat and stops the warning when the occupant moves away from the warning seat mat, the fourth embodiment has a mode that reverses the timing of the warning while keeping the hardware the same.
In the fourth embodiment, the warning is stopped while the child is sitting on the warning seat mat, and is issued when the child leaves the warning seat mat. This alerts the child to check for any items left behind or children left behind.

Inside the seat mat body 3, a pressure sensor 20 is disposed in an area where the operator's buttocks may come into contact and where the operator's weight acts.
The operation of the warning seat mat 1 will now be described with reference to a flowchart.
First, an operator or a person in charge places the warning seat mat 1 on the seat surface of the driver's seat of the target vehicle. Next, the operator gets into the driver's seat in the vehicle cabin of the target vehicle. Then, the operator leaves the driver's seat in the vehicle cabin.
At this time, as shown in FIG. 14, it is judged whether the pressure sensor 20 detects a pressure value lower than a predetermined pressure value corresponding to a seated state, which is lower than the predetermined pressure value, as shown in FIG. 14 (S201). When the pressure sensor 20 detects a pressure value lower than the predetermined pressure value, the speaker 30 is turned on based on a command from the control unit 50 (S202, S203), and the LED light 22 is turned on (S204). The speaker 30 generates a warning sound such as "Be careful not to leave anything behind!" or "Be careful not to leave anything behind!". The LED light 22 emits, for example, a flashing light signal. This alerts the operator and people around. The operator should be careful not to leave anything behind or children behind. If a rule is made so that the warning sound leaks from the vehicle through the window, people around outside the vehicle will be careful to check for the presence or absence of any left items or children when they detect the warning sound and the flashing light signal.
