Definitions
- This invention relates to cup distribution system with vertical axis rotation motion mechanism that can be used in all public or closed areas such as beverage filling vending machines, self-service stations, food halls, cafeterias, shopping malls.
- vending machines that meet the needs of people who need hot or cold beverage consumption in open or closed areas are frequently used. These vending machines, as a result of filling the drinks into the cups stored in their chambers, make the cups ready for service and present them to the user.
- vending machines operating in two different methods, which are known and widely used in the market. The first of these is the cup delivery method, which moves slidingly in the horizontal plane. In such systems, space cannot be saved due to the positions of the parts that provide the movement of the cups in the horizontal plane and the stacking of the cups in the horizontal position, and the delivery of the cups in these systems is very slow.
- Another of the existing systems is the vending machines that work with the vertical direction drop method by gravity or arm effect.
- the user has to move the cup up and down or back and forth to free the mouth of the cup, but this may cause the drink in the cup to splash into the environment, the amount of beverage in the cup to decrease, the surroundings to become dirty and even more than one cup to be drawn at the same time. It is also possible for the cup to be damaged when too much force is applied to the cup.
- the invention relates to a more hygienic use of cup dispensers in common areas. While doing this, it is aimed to find a solution to the problem of taking more than one cup and not to deform with physical strength.
- the system has been automated thanks to the sensor, rotary mechanism and mechanism parts, and has been made more hygienic with a closed cup holder and cup holder.
- a sub-panel has multiple receptacle openings.
- the openings are configured to receive items and hold items by their top flanges.
- Each of the openings is located adjacent to a fold line connecting the bottom panel to a side panel.
- the fold line includes a frangible portion positioned near at least one of the openings. Moving each product through the respective opening causes a flange of said product to initiate rupture of the frangible portion, releasing said product from the respective opening, thereby distributing the product from the carton.
- One of the primaries aims of our invention is to enhance the consumer experience in vending machines, self-service stations, and other automated systems.
- the cup delivery process is automated, providing great convenience to consumers.
- Our system thus saves time, facilitates access to cups and increases consumer satisfaction.
- Another object of our invention is to increase the efficiency of cup delivery in automated systems. Using the vertical axis rotation mechanism, cups can be stored and delivered quickly and reliably. In this way, bottlenecks experienced during stacking or delivery of cups are reduced and time is saved for both consumers and business owners. Another advantage of our invention is that it saves space. With the vertical movement of the system, stacking has become much easier and there is no need for an excessive space in the horizontal plane during the delivery of the cups. This provides an increase in cup storage capacity.
- Our invention provides a very robust and reliable cup delivery, and maintenance costs in maintenance and service needs are greatly reduced.
- the strength of the mechanical parts in the rotation mechanism is quite high, the need for frequent maintenance has been eliminated and the machine's downtime during maintenance has been minimized and consumer satisfaction has been increased.
- Our invention completely eliminates the security problem experienced in existing cup vending machines. Accidents that may occur in case of pinching of fingers or hands during the movement of the vending machine cover are prevented as a result of the detection of obstacles or resistances that will occur during the movement of the cover. If a blockage is detected, the system is automatically stopped immediately to avoid pinching the finger or hand.
- Another problem that our invention solves is that the system does not start until it is ensured that the cup delivery is done properly. During the delivery of the cup, the system takes action after the user receives the cup, and if the delivery does not take place, the system does not unlock the lid for security purposes.
- Our invention is also very protected against external interventions during the operation of the system. Thanks to the sliding plate, the internal parts of the system are completely protected, thus increasing the working life of the system. It is easy to install thanks to the easy fixing of the parts that make up the invention, and the costs are low due to the short assembly time. Moreover, the invention has a solid construction.

- the parts constituting the invention are basically; Delivery Door (1), door motor (2), door motor belt (3), door linking support (4), cup sensor (5), door lock (6), back panel (7), panel motor (8), The panel motor belt (9), carrier (10), optical sensor (11) and encoder (12) parts.
- the delivery door (1) is configured with the door opening (1.1) on one side and closed on the other.
- the cup area (1.2) has a slot (1.2.1) that enables the cartesian (xy) robot arm, which is used for placing the cup (B), to be bedded. Thanks to the door opening (1.1), the product can be placed and delivered to the device, and the other closed side of the delivery door (1) will enable the mechanism to be kept from the outside.
- the encoder (12) is located at the bottom of the delivery door (1) in the system. On the upper part of the delivery door (1), there is the door linking support (4). The shaft located in the Door Linking Support (4) is associated with the delivery door (1). The door motor (2) is connected to the door connecting bearing (4) with the door motor belt (3).
- the back panel (7) is integrated on one side of the system. The back panel (7) is preferably positioned where the customer will receive the cup (B) service.
- the back panel (7) has the extension of the carrier (10), and the movement of the carrier (10) through the panel motor belt (9) is provided by the torque power of the panel motor (8).
- the cup area (1.2) has a grid structure and makes it possible not to spill the liquid into the environment due to the accidents that may occur during the transportation of the beverage.
- Figure 1-2 shows the position of the system during the preparation of the cup (B).
- the back panel (7) Before the cup (B) is served, the back panel (7) is always in the closed position and the delivery door (1) is locked.
- the robot arm moving in the X-Y axis inserts the cup (B) through the door opening (1.1) and places it on the cup area (1.2). Meanwhile, the robot arm is supported by the slot (1.2.1). Before the door lock (6) is opened, the back panel
- the delivery door (1) is rotated around the rotation axis (A) by means of the door motor (2) with a 180-degree movement and after being detected by the encoder
- Figure 3-4 visuals, the view of the cup (B) when it is ready to be served can be seen.
- the system stays in the position shown in Figure 3-4 until the cup (B) is received, in other words, until the cup sensor (5) generates a second signal.
- the back panel (7) goes down vertically by means of the panel motor (8) and when the optical sensor (11) detects the final position of the back panel (7), the door lock (6) opens and the delivery door (1) returns 180 degrees, moves back to its original position. If the cup (B) is not received, the encoder (12) records the time until the cup (B) is received and the rotation of the delivery door (1) is automatically prevented.
- the door motor (2) which provides the rotation movement of the delivery door (1).
- the door motor (2) is associated with the door motor belt (3) to the door linking support(4) located on the upper part of the delivery door (1).
- Rack gear or chain gear can be used as an alternative in this system.
- the view of the panel motor (8) that provides the vertical movement of the back panel (7) with circular torque power is given.
