Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau de revêtement transparent monocomposant à base de solvant, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend i.) un ou plusieurs polymères à fonction hydroxy (A), dont au moins un est un poly(méth)acrylate (A1), possédant a) une température de transition vitreuse inférieure à -15 °C telle que déterminée par calorimétrie différentielle à balayage ; b) un indice d'hydroxyle dans la plage de 130 mg KOH/g à 300 mg KOH/g ; et c) un poids moléculaire moyen en poids déterminé par chromatographie par perméation de gel à l'aide d'un étalon de polystyrène ; ii. ) un ou plusieurs agents de réticulation (B), dont au moins un est une résine mélamine-formaldéhyde possédant des groupes méthoxyméthyle (B1) ; et iii.) un système catalyseur (C) comprenant un ou plusieurs acides sulfoniques bloqués par une amine (C1) ; et un ou plusieurs catalyseurs d'acide phosphorique (C2). L'invention concerne en outre un système de revêtement multi-couches comprenant une couche de revêtement transparent formée à partir dudit matériau de revêtement transparent, un procédé de préparation d'un tel système de revêtement multi-couches et un substrat ainsi revêtu, ainsi que l'utilisation du matériau de revêtement transparent monocomposant à base de solvant pour revêtir des substrats non revêtus ou prérevêtus, de préférence des carrosseries de véhicule ou des parties de celles-ci dans un revêtement OEM ou de réparation.
