Abstract
Se describe un método para el tratamiento de emulsiones con microondas que comprende las etapas de: a) determinar en laboratorio para una emulsion de agua/aceite (604, 705, 713, 805, 812) las condiciones optimas de las variables: contenido de agua, contenido de sal, pH de la fase acuosa, temperatura inicial y potencia para la aplicacion de las microondas, temperatura final y distribucion de tamano de gotas a ser ajustadas en la planta industrial, en funcion de características del petroleo crudo en estudio como viscosidad, densidad, contenido de asfaltenos, acidez total, siendo tales condiciones las necesarias para obtener por lo menos 90% de eficiencia de separacion de dicha emulsion en presencia de radiacion de microondas; b) utilizar estas informaciones para el ajuste inicial de las condiciones de aplicacion del método en unidades de separacion de fases (100, 200, 300) en refinerías y en unidades de produccion; c) efectuar el análisis en línea de variables de la etapa a) y de la respuesta del proceso en las corrientes efluentes de las unidades de separacion, siendo esta respuesta los análisis de contenido de agua y sales, de manera de retroalimentar las informaciones al mejor ajuste de las condiciones de proceso para aplicacion de microondas; y d) utilizar adicionalmente los análisis en línea o en laboratorio del efecto del método como monitoreo de eficiencia de la rotura de la emulsion de agua/aceite.
