Abstract

MéTODO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE EMULSõES áGUA/óLEO COM MICROONDAS. é descrito um método para o tratamento de emulsões com microondas que compreende as etapas de: a) em laboratório, determinar, para uma emulsão A/O (604), (705), (713), (805), (812) as condições ótimas das variáveis: teor de água, teor de sal, pH da fase aquosa, temperatura inicial, potência para aplicação das microondas, temperatura final e distribuição de tamanho de gotas a serem ajustados na planta industrial, em função de características do óleo cru em estudo como viscosidade, densidade, teor de asfaltenos, acidez total, tais condições sendo aquelas necessárias para obter pelo menos 90% de eficiência de separação da dita emulsão em presença de radiação de microondas; b) utilizar estas informações para o ajuste inicial de condições de aplicação do método em unidades de separação de fases (100), (200), (300) em refinarias e em unidades de produção;c) efetuar análises em linha das variáveis da etapa a) e da resposta do processo nas correntes efluentes das unidades de separação, sendo esta resposta as análises de teor de água e sais, de forma a retroalimentar as informações ao melhor ajuste das condições de processo para aplicação das microondas; e d) utilizar adicionalmente as análises em linha ou em laboratório do efeito do método como monitoramento da eficiência da quebra da emulsão A/O.
