Abstract

La invencion provee métodos para la reduccion de las emisiones de mercurio de las plantas de cemento. En un método, un sorbente de carbon activado en forma de polvo es inyectado a una corriente de gas de una planta de cemento en uno o más puntos después del horno y antes del dispositivo recolector de materia en partículas, de una planta de cemento. También se provee de un aparato para disminuir las emisiones de una planta de cemento, aparato que comprende dos o mas lechos en una serie comprendiendo un primer lecho el cual es un lecho movil, y uno o mas lechos restantes, los cuales son lechos fijos, comprendiendo cada lecho fijo por lo menos un sorbente, el cual es capaz de absorber, por lo menos, uno de mercurio, hidrocarburos y ácido clorhídrico. Otro método para la reduccion de las emisiones de las plantas de cemento emplean al aparato recién descrito.
